Amogh S I will pass on the sight tube. Then again, the tank lost 3 liters for battery placement. I would have enlarged the rear cowl for the battery. Besides, the new batteries hardly weigh anything now.

Baron, I want to say this is one heck of a build and getting to see it up close just now let me enjoy some of the great little details (love the tank level indicator) and SuperLeggera like exhaust. Also wanted to say how much I have enjoyed ALL of your videos over the years. We are very similar in our attitude and approach to life and our toy collection. I bought an HP4 Comp new here in the states, still have a R1200GSA, and picked up a KTM 1290SA a few weeks ago. I am also finishing my own R100 custom build, and own many other bikes (Ducatis, Norton, a plethora of BMWs (airheads and oilheads). Just wanted to finally post, as I usually watch your two channels via Roku so never get into the comment section. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing all that you do. Cheers and beers!!

If the bike ever makes another trip across the US, like it did with the previous owners, I wouldn't mind meeting up and taking a look at that work of art on wheels if you'd like to take in some of Northern California's best roads to ride a motorcycle on... Like you I'm an English guy that loves BMW bikes but I moved out to the west coast of the US almost 20 years ago.
You and the guys at 'Smokin Customs' did an awesome job of making the most of that bike. So often we see cheesy and predictable 'Cafe Racer' mods. Clearly, you guys went your own way. Love, love, love, the result of all that thought and effort. Can't wait for the first ride video :-)
excellent job, tremendous taste and execution. If you care to listen to some random dude on the comments, first thing I would do is ditch the firestone tires. They look great but are fucking awful to ride.
If someone who has risen similar bikes could answer. I've ridden a few Japanese 600-650 sport tourers, but have found two nice sports bikes that are in my price range. The only difference is ones a triple 675 and the other is a v-twin 1000-1200 (depending on year). Both make similar power and torque. I'm pretty sold on each bike, but the biggest bike I've ridden is a mates Honda 650.
