Tarkatans are legendary warriors according to, iirc, Scorpion. The problem with Tarkatans are probably the fact that they stick to their tradition and don't want to expand. As powerful and deadly as they are, they themselves are the reason of their submissions.

That one felt far more playful and less of a burn. Sonya and Lui go back pretty far and have always been close friends so it didn't feel like a bitter burn to me or a roast.

@@Netherwolf6100 the funny part is in the modern MK games they really haven't showed that. In the original timeline, Johnny Cage, Sonya and Liu Kang actually became close friends in MK1(according to comics i believe), so I'm really disappointed they haven't shown that at all, especially with Cage and Kang.

Also it might be because of how D'vorah sounds and acts as a character , i mean way D'vorah killed Mileena is in itself quite horrible one with insects , i mean this could be one of most brutal fatalities but i guess they knew it could be possibly over the edge .

Meaning that if someone as skilled and legendary as Bi-Han can die, then some poser like Johnny wouldn't be much of a challenge at all. At least, that's how Noob sees it. Johnny, as usual, thinks the whole thing revolves around him and that Noob called him the legend.
That's how I interpreted that, anyway. There's no way Noob Saibot would ever refer to Johnny Cage as a legend.

The names are meant to sound Chinese (or vagually, Pan-Asiatic) which is just... eh. But it's a relic from a bygone era, so it's understandable. It would be odd to now rename all characters and give them completely new personalities.

Liu Kang and Kung Lao are my favorite MK characters, I'm very sad because they only value Liu Kang. Kung Lao is an amazing character (in fact, I personally think he's more stylish and cooler than Liu Kang), but unfortunately he's very underrated and undervalued.
There's something kinda sweet about how defensive Shao Kahn gets when Liu Kang mocks Mileena.
