I can’t believe there’s under 200 views for this. I got to know jack from Elliotte Hulse. But this is interesting stuff that could help lots of people. Great content mr.donavon
Very interesting episode. It is very rare to find someone who approaches fear with a realistic perspective based on experience and reflection. So different from market nonsense that sell fearless living based on silly practices like cold baths. It's good to have an alternative to the tony robbins bullshit
Every stupid barbie or any zero talent artist has so much followers, but a real role model type like Don has just 11k. That world is really upside down...
Nope. Because I have worked as a waiter in the past, I am aware that there is a certain type of person who habitually sends things back as a demonstration of power over someone who can never stand up to them or question them (a server, who would be fired for doing so). That kind of person disgusts me, and I find it embarrassing to even be at the table with someone like that. So unless I absolutely got the wrong meal or something is really a problem, I don’t complain to service staff or send things back. I’m not afraid I’ll be told no (that never happens) or afraid to stand up for myself. I think there’s a prima donna preciousness to people who fuss over details in a situation like that and it grosses me out. That said, I got Tony’s point, and could apply it to numerous other circumstances where there is a fear spike.
@@JackDonovan I agree totally with you, I can't stand going out to dinner with people that do that, it's like they look forward to doing that and look for something wrong with their food, it's a control thing..i have told one buddy I don't like going out to eat with her cause she does it everytime...
@@jeanettecook7903 yeah it is the worst. I've worked in restaurants and there are people who come back once a week and find something to complain about every time. A lot of time they are angling for a free meal or a discount. Or it's just a power trip. I was a terrible waiter myself so I tend to overtip and choose not to be a hassler.
One of the best pods, yet. Can't believe he used to sparr with Brandon Lee. This is some quality information.
Am I the only one who wants to wield a sword and roar while listening to the intro?
Jack D. created that bit with some software. It gets my attention, too.
It’s fantastic
