If you can't find the latex rubber bands he's talking about don't worry there's another product out there that works in a similar fashion . It's called "the New Zealand Strike Indicator kit" It comes with a tool (hook) and on that hook tool are some plastic tubes already attached on it plus about a 6" piece of tubing you can cut and use as spare + there's three colures of New Zealand wool .The instructions come with the tool and are very easy to follow .So check out your tackle shop to see if they carry it .Tight lines everybody.😏

Pat Dorsey invented this. You'll need 1/4 inch orthodontic rubber bands. The 'yarn' is polypropylene 6mm Bonnie Braid available at craft stores.

Agreed. Dunno why the guy tries to be all cryptic.
I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. The Dorsey has thread hitches in the center of the wool, whereas this wool is just a tuft.
