Sweet story of your life.
My sister and one of my sister in laws got married in Gatlinburg too. When my sister got married we were head up the mountain and was snowing. That was the most beautiful time I've ever been in the mountains as when it snowed that day.

The run up the face of the mountain startles me every time. I recall it scared a friend of mine and by the unload she was a nice shade of green.

This was a great video. I loved seeing you guys laugh and have fun. I'm not a big fan of swinging bridges. But I always walked across the one in Cherokee NC.
Traveling is supposed to be fun, so laughing or smiling is important.
I think not all swinging bridges are not safe, it depends.

At roughly 1,200 feet long, the recently opened SkyBridge Michigan at Boyne Mountain provides more than 1,000 feet of suspended walking surface.300 feet longer that Gatlinburg Skywalk.
It's cool, but they don't light it up, do they?
I haven't been on it yet, but the bridge in Michigan is the world's longest timber-tower suspension bridge and it is owned by the same company that owns the one in Gatlinburg. Boyne is the owner, the one in Michigan is up by Boyne Mountain. It is called Skybridge Michigan.
You have to take Dawn to the one in Michigan so she can get that bridge a swinging.
Can't wait to visit next October. I've never been on a ski lift, I'm a little scared but very excited. Dawn, you're so cute and enjoy the best things. Keep having fun and shaking those bridges. 🥰😉

My first trip to the Smokies in 1964 as a 9 year old small town boy, Christis Gardens was amazing to me. I had never seen anything like it. Also, our motel in Pigeon Forge had a coffee-maker on the wall. My brother and I were amazed and begged our parents to let us make coffee for them.
So much of traveling in the Smokies is about remembering experiences with others when enjoying past trips with family or friends.
Oh, and we rode this chair-lift! And had caramel corn and a caramel apple.
Dawn is always shaking the bridge lol she gives herself away cuz she giggles lol it's hilarious
Great video, I was just there Saturday and went up to the top of the mountain that night and about 75% of the lights that are there on your trip were there when I was there Saturday but there were some things I noticed in your video that weren't there, and that particular night the Space Needle was lit up red and white the whole night

Later on that night it started raining a little more heavily and I went to bed around 1:00 a.m. and woke up at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning and it had snowed on the tops of the mountains surrounding Gatlinburg including skybridge Mountain

That is super sad those lift chairs just sitting in the weeds. Do you know if they will ever sell those? Or auction them off? That would make great memorabilia as well as a swing.
