    Got one today... exactly the same as in the video...same size and same pattern... Your video motivated me to get one for myself....i am really keen to know how the patterns will turn out once it grows up...thanks man..
    You put a lot of effort in your videos..that's commendable...

      Thank you so much, the one you got is a black galaxy as well yeah? The dots should get thicker and more pronounced as they get older. Its even more visible in the male where they almost form a solid black mass. The females still have spaces in between the dots (from what I have seen).

      @@ChannaScaping yes its a black galaxy..the person who gave me did not know much about it..I saw your video and could make out what kind of stewarti it was and ordered immediately...
      i m not still sure if it's a male or female though...let's hope it's a male..Even if it's not ..i m still happy i got it😁

    I have a stewarti...should we add a bit of current on the surface of the tank?i have a 6 inch stewarti in a 3ft tank..

      From what i see most stewartiis are found in streams so it might be more natural for them to have some flow, then again they can often be found in very still water. I would say this is up to you, if you want to really go for a natural environment it might be beneficial. Probably a pump at the surface would be enough.

      @@ChannaScaping i think this is the best idea and very logical .. I will go for a small power head near the surface..i am placing it in a way that it is aimed at the back glass half way through,this way it will only agitates half the tank and rest of the surface will only have minimal agitation due to it..the outlet of my top filter is still creating a little bit of agitation ..so there will be zones with Max movement and minimum movement on the surface within the tank..thank you so much...i dont think anybody would have given such an accurate observation for execution in a stewarti tank...lots of love to you man...

    Hi do you use chiller to keep the temperature low?

    • @ChannaScaping
      @ChannaScaping  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use aircon set on a smart controller to control temperature in my fish room. If you cant use aircon, then a chiller would be recommended

    I have to make a decision in the next 10 days which Channa I will buy. I'm undecided between Stewartii or Asiatica. What is your opinion? The aquarium is 110x50x45, about 260 liters. Is the small aquarium for Asiatica. I read they size can be 35 cm.

    • @ChannaScaping
      @ChannaScaping  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Both can get to 30cm (although rarely reach that size in aquariums). In my opinion, care is exactly the same for both stewartii and asiatica so its really up to you which one you think is nicer. There are different varieties of Asiatica (red/black etc) which may appeal to you whereas with Stewartii the major differences are in the number and thickness of the spots.

      Need to know more info. What channa are you catching? Limbata? what other fish are in the tank? What is your tank setup like? They really shouldn't be dying after 2 days..
