The ending makes me sad. All those hundreds of millions of people on the Cradles had to be sacrificed so mankind can escape a poisoned Earth. Yet the corporations responsible for it all get away relatively unscathed and are free to take their greed and evil to the stars.
No surprise actually considering the context of armored core four and the actions of the previous protagonist. If they had let Rayleonard do their thing and initiate the Closed Plan before the Cradles even existed it would’ve have led to that mass of casualties. I find many ironies in this situation one of them being destroying a corporation, or two if you include Akvavit, had led to this in the first place which is contradictory as to how one would envision that destroying a corporation would be a good thing if we didn’t consider the consequence. And the other that though humanity is decimated or it’s civilization it has a chance to exist and not go extinct that is has a chance to rebuild because the path to space is open.

i just got into AC3,SL, 4, FA, after finishing 6 and this video is oerfect timing. "where are our normals!?" had me crying with how perfectly that section was edited

Or instead of the destruction path, there'd be another where you stand with White Glint and Line Ark, taking on both the League and ORCA.

Typically my standard build includes: Externals Head: Hogire Body: Lahire Arms: Aaliyah Legs: Whiteglint R/L Arms: Acacia Back Weapons: Acrux Hangar Units: EB-0700 internals FCS: Lahire Generator: Maxwell Main Booster: Latona Back: Lahire Side: Holofernes Overed: Lahire The main stabilizers I cared about fashion wise we the Lower Core R/L Lahire 02 and Legs back Lahire 01. Attack on Line Ark was standard but with the BIGXIOUX on back. Ulna was full Lahire with only the AR-0700s assault rifles. Carpals was the standard, but with the Wheeling01 missile launcher on left, Grenade launcher Travers on right. Honestly, the Acrux's are mostly just for fashion. If I really want to try, I just drop em for more speed and energy, and use the Assault rifles and Assault Armor as my main attacks.

It feels like once White Glint is out of the picture, For Answer for the most part doesn't have a whole lot planned for its gameplay.
White Glint was taken out too early tbh. He should've at least been defeated later, or maybe reappeared or something. Idk.

To be honest I prefer the more down to earth slow moving mechs in something like mechwarrior, but I see the appeal of fast moving mechas too.
Other gens are slower. Gen 4 (Armored Core 4 and For Answer) are just fast really, FA even faster than 4. I prefer gen 3 myself.
