I like to be 100% sure I’m not gonna be one of those guys with thousands of dollars tens of thousands of dollars or $100,000 in water damage from one of my roof penetrations. Whatever I’m going to install. I’m going to make sure it last longer than my equipment and longer than the roof material last..
A solo roofing company that literally had many of its jobs fail and have to turn in many insurance claims and damaged reputations due to water leaks from roof, penetrations from the installations of solar panels. On the roofs of clients, commercial and residential buildings turned me onto the system. .

I used to install automotive sunroofs. The manufacturers supplied butyl tape for the installation. We threw the tape away and used neutral cure silicone. They were high end OEMs too, Webasto and Hollandia.

They have a lot of excellent adhesives and sealants both one parts and two-part epoxy’s are in the automotive autobody business. There’s a lot of amazing products out there for bonding metal panels together or fiberglass or different synthetic plastics that are difficult to adhere to..

Do you have to put a post on each e-curb to keep the warranty in tact?

I don’t know what you mean by a post on e curb ?
I have been using data thing for about 12 years now and looking at the very first one. I install virtually nowhere or tear at all whatsoever. Still flexible. . Just a little discoloration in oxidation on the surface..
These things will probably last 40 or 50 years . Especially if you paint them with some white roofing paint or whatever color paint to match the roof.
