I had the privilege of seeing U2 on of all days ,St Patrick's Day, 1992 in Boston. I had waited since 1983 to see them and I was not disappointed at all. They didn't perform"40" that night, but no matter, they were still phenomenal. And they're still my favorite band after all these years. I noticed another comment regarding Adam and The Edge swapping out their instruments when playing 40 and yes they have been doing this for a long time. Just watch the encore of U2 Live at Red Rocks and you'll see what I mean.😀
Bono looks like a business man until the music starts and then suddenly he becomes all sexy and serpentine. :) Reminds me of the earlier days.. guess they never really changed, though.
Amen Joe. I'm 48 and U2 have always been my favorite but Larry Mullen is my favorite and it's absolutely jackassery for them to play without Larry at the sphere
paul mcclaren It's inspired heavily by Psalm 40 in the Bible. The lyrics to "40" are put in more modern vernacular but essentially the same as what is expressed in the psalm.
Thank you for your truthful response Miss Lindsay. 'I waited patiently for the LORD and He turned and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit and out of the miry glade. He set my feet upon the Rock and made my footsteps firm. Many will see and FEAR. I will sing a new song.'
Who that shirt the name Kane on it, and yellow hair. The devil will strain your tearing down there. No no no no Bono. Be proud of the genetics God gave you and glorify him only. Glorify Abba only, in Christ Jesus name.
Just watched War Dogs on HBO. Bradley Cooper's character looks just like Bono. video.carprofenfordogs.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/war-dogs-official-trailer-2016-b.jpg

One of the few songs were Adam plays guitar and The Edge plays the bass
Steady Beats The only
Yup, only one. They also swap sides on stage.
To leave their concert and people chanting: How Long! is truly wondrous.
We know what this band is about...
It's that song within our hearts
❤
Great fuckin call!
Afuckinmen DB again
This song based on Psalm 40 was mentioned in this morning's sermon at City Church. Didn't know it's by U2!
Love this song. It's psalm 40 in the Bible.
My wife and I were in the seats right behind where you were filming at. What a great concert!
I was there. Elevation was amazing. You could feel the bass going through you.
Great video! We were sitting just behind and to the left of where you shot the video from. It was a truly great concert! (As always...)
Peace, Love, Understanding. A mission that all men should wear !!!

Best video yet I have seen from this tour! Thanks
It was magical - but I was so sad when it was over!
+Kristin Jacobs Feeling the same way since Friday night in Dublin. Amazing homecoming.
Their music legacy will live on long after them....not to mention everything Bono has done for the 3rd world with his platform.. peace and love 💕

THE BEST!
U2!
“How long to sing “this” song” !!!!
Magic ✨
How long...?
I will ask all of you a question: why is this song called 40?

It usually lasts 40 minutes when played live.
A banda e .
Great times

I was delighted to see that!
Don't think Bono wants to be caught dead near a Kane jersey these days.........
+shiznicks74 why did Kane do something bad in a game?
+thankyou2532 deadspin.com/report-accuser-claims-patrick-kane-overpowered-and-rap-1723073528
shiznicks74 he was innocent, girl made up most of the story, she was a gold digger who knew who he was and tried to take advantage of it
@@dereklasker5350 Oh, I know that.....I'm just saying Bono probably didn't know that and would be concerned about the optics.
shiznicks74 true, he would definitely not try to align himself with kane even if it was just an accusation
Adam still goofing around not playing anything much on the guitar lol
Just watched War Dogs on HBO. Bradley Cooper's character looks just like Bono. video.carprofenfordogs.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/war-dogs-official-trailer-2016-b.jpg

I miss when U2 wrote explicitly Christian music. I still enjoy their music, but unfortunately they have turned more and more into people pleasers
People pleasers are extinct in this fucked up world. Cocksuckers all over this globe. Ingreats
