Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are doing extraordinary in solving water issues..... Next project is to pump majority of Godavari flood waters into far south regions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for agriculture needs, the plannings are in progress, this will be a engineering marvel in the future
The total length of the entire Kaleshwaram project is approximately 1,832 km of which 1,531 km is gravity canals and 203 km comprise water tunnels. There are 20 water lifts and 19 pump houses in the project.
The project is on Chinese scale. It shows India can also build massive infrastructure as the Chinese had done. Feel proud with a big salute to the plannerrs and executors.

Petty politics, many outside Telangana do not speak or acknowledge about this massive irrigation development. Water from holy rivers of Krishna and Godavari is made available to it's people. Just like how in scriptures sage bhagiratha brought river ganges into himalayas, mission bhagiratha made available to all in state of Telangana, an arid state. The Telangana government are implementing numerous development works.
India needs many projects of this kind. 1. Massive Drinking water projects 2. Massive Solar and wind power projects 3. Power generated by these solar power projects should be used by electric vehicles to reduce dependence on imported oil. Which will save lot of foreign exchange 4. Road projects to connect every corner of our country 5. Waste Water treatment plants in every city 6. Garbage treatment plants in every city 7. We need to control our population 8. Maximum use of public transport 9. Huge network of bullet train. 10. We need to stop brain drain. 11. Export of made in India goods 12. Improved quality of medical care.
