I still love your foundation reviews but I really miss when you did the 3 day foundation review where your wore the foundation for 3 days under different conditions ie different primers etc
I have extremely oily skin and I wish I had the overall positive experience with it that you did. I actually did love it the first day, but the second and third day weren’t as good. It disappeared from my t-zone after a few hours. I also didn’t find it to be full coverage. At least not in comparison to something like MAC Studio Fix Fluide or Marc Jacobs Remarcable. It’s always so interesting to hear other people’s reviews.
Hi risa. What foundation n powder works for u? I m curious to know. I have very oily skin too. Nothing works for me. They just melt on my face after an hour use. So i end up walking around with just sunscreen n no make up. Pls share. Many tks from Singapore

Hi haha sorry to intrude here but same thing as you, I always thought I'd never buy a high end foundation bc for me it wasn`t worth the splurge however the CC cream is AMAZING (I've only tried the regular one) and OMG! I already bought a second one because I never want to go a day without it, it looks so beautiful on the skin and it has some amazing ingredients on it so the splurge is kinda justified bc guuuurl I ain't spending 40 dollars on a Too faced foundation that's gonna look the same as my Maybelline one and has basically the same ingredients. It cosmetics is definitely a yes!
Lourdes Iglesias I love 💗 the Dior Backstage Foundation!! It is the only foundation that actually stays put in the humidity it’s very skin like it’s definitely a medium coverage but completely buildable to full coverage!!! ☺️
It's not bad, but not "full" coverage for me, but it does last in humidity! I decided not to return it, because the shade I purchased matches my skin 100% & there are many shades. Just wish it was fuller coverage without having to layer it! :)

Check out the cools matte setting spray. It has SPF 35 and is waterproof! It also makes everything waterproof! 😍 my Summe combo is the dermalogica anti age primer, a powder foundation (Sephora atm) and this setting spray! Nothing melts! It keeps oils at bay and is waterproof perfect for summer!

Elle Leary Artistry tried this on drier skin, and she found she got the best coverage with a brush, then bouncing a beauty sponge to smooth is out. She is a makeup artist in the US. It's really nice to be able to watch you to see how things wear on oily skin and her for drier skin. I love the comment where they suggested mixing this with the regular CC cream so it isn't so heavy! But, Nikkia, to be honest I felt like this product accentuated your texture on your cheek area. (Same place I have it!)
The original one has the same skin benefits actually which is why I tried it but does separate and not oil controlling. Also the colors are a bit off, because I’m usually a medium and the medium is a bit pink. Surprising to see you’re a tan, so maybe I’ll try that. Thank you so much for reviewing this because after those blunders with the original formula I was super excited to try this new one and now, even more so!

I have dry skin but the original It Cosmetics CC cream is slightly too tacky and transfer happy for me. I bought some of this new matte formula and mix half and half with the original formula. That makes the perfect combo for my skin type. I top it off with their new powder that goes along with this new CC cream and my skin looks radiant and not overly dry. It is an amazing product. I bought this on QVC along with a brush and the pressed powder. All for under $50. I try to buy all my It Cosmetics products there because they have pkg deals where you can get a brush along with products for only around a couple dollars more. And I love their brushes, which are usually around $40-50 brushes. So it is like you are almost getting them free. Which I love. :)
The IT CC cream has been my holy grail foundation for years. I have textured big pores oily skin. When I pair it with the IT CC+ airbrush perfecting powder it's amazing. I do get oily and have to touch up so I'm very excited to try the Matte :D Oily skin means less wrinkles so fly that shine! Love your videos. THX FOR THE REVIEW!
This is the review I've been waiting on. I wanted to see how you applied, I cannot do the BB sponge, only a stipple brush AND I ended up having to mix my Lancome Teint Olde with the CC cream, one pump each. I had trouble with my skin texture and that combo works pretty well for me. Now, I used Cover FX mattifying setting powder and then I set everything with the Cover FX Mattifying setting spray - OMG!! My face is actually oilier than yours and my foundation stays flawless for approximately 6 hours with NO touch ups. After that I can start to see the oils breaking through on my forehead. I love this stuff!! So glad you did too!
I have oily skin and I LOVE the original cc cream. I've gone through about 8 tubes of it. The odd thing about IT Cosmetics is that I find I actually get oilier when I powder the cc cream than when I don't. So I don't powder anymore. Their shade range is garbage so I need to use a white mixer with the lightest shade, but it looks like they did a bit better this time. Also, I'd highly recommend not skipping your skin care with this because even though they say it's skin care too you definitely still need your normal routine. I'm so excited to try this, I'll be ordering it ASAP!
P.S. Doing these tests the way you have been isn't the most reliable way because there are too many variables. If you want to prime one half and not the other then you need to choose one tool. And if you want to try 2 different tools you need to either prime the whole face or not at all. That's the only way to tell which method is creating a difference in the results. Food for thought.
You've GOT to give Chi Chi's Super CC Cream a try! It's been around for ages but so worth a look. I'm on my third bottle, I reach for it more than any foundation! It has so many skincare properties as well (HA, collagen, caviar extract + so many more!) but it's not too heavy. I'm sometimes combo/sometimes oily, and even if I don't wear powder on it, it looks perfect and glowy without looking oily or wet, and lasts all day! There aren't too many shades but I blend light and medium between seasons if i need to. Would love to see what you think! Plus Chi Chi is a cruelty free brand!
This foundation is my favorite!! I used original cc but had to blot oil throughout the day but didn’t keep me from wearing it because it’s so wonderful but was so so excited when they released the matte.
I purchased the TSV from QVC which contained the CC cream, the CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder and the applicator brush. I use the powder to set the foundation and where I live it's been triple digit heat plus monsoon season - so humidity! I sweat most products off immediately but this combo gave me some coverage even after I wiped my face several times. I think the powder just sends it to another level.
I'm so happy you did a review of this. This was an impulse buy when someone shared it on Instagram. I'm SUPER oily and I had a very similar experience to you. Blotting the oily off didn't remove the makeup. I don't use primer because my skin doesn't like it. I just used the CC cream and the powder it came with ( I bought it on QVC as a set, CC cream, powder and brush). I'd also like to add I live in Southern California in a very hot area and it's been extremely hot this summer and I wore this for the first time during one of the hot days. I honestly expected the makeup to slide off my face within the hour. It held up. I'm also not a huge makeup person. I have very few products I use. I would absolutely repurchase this product!
Hello Nikkia thank you for searching these products😍 I believe that the sponge in the Sephora palette is there for you to clean your brush after each use. You just swipe your brush across it until it's clean and then you can use the same brush for the next color. I hope this helps.😊
So I ordered this and tried it for the first time today and I ❤️LOVE❤️ it and I'm extremely picky about my foundation and it's basically a 10 out of a 10 for me and I was shocked how PERFECTLY the light medium shade matches my skin tone...I mean spot on! Which I also usually seem to normally have issues with as well. So for me it's a 100% hit! Absolutely love it. It's my new go to. As far as the goodbye pores translusant powder it's good but not worth the price tag... I think the NYX is better and for a fraction of the price. Luv ya Nikkia!
My itcosmetics cc cream and this one are my go to foundation! Never oxidizes, very minimal transfer, and spf! The matte is definitely a thicker consistency then the regular cc cream.

Hi! I just tried the original CC cream recently and I would say if you have combo or oily skin, don't spend money on it. Get a sample if you are really curious but don't buy the full size. My skin is normal to dry (and a bit more mature since I am 41) and the original is really dewy. Even powdered it stays pretty tacky and I think with oily skin it would be sliding around a lot. I hope this helps!
Love that this cc cream worked and will probably try it but the fact that the two shades that you had were almost identical and they only have 12 shades is unacceptable, IT Cosmetics has to step it up and provide for all skin tones. Love your reviews Nikkia, totally here for them!!😘
I never found a CC cream that gave me enough coverage for my pinky/red undertones on my skin and then I figured I'd buy into the hype and get the original It Cosmetics CC cream. That was about 4 months ago and I have literally used it almost every day since. I freaking love it. Thought I was a matte girl before that and now I love the super glowy/natural look it gives me. Lasts super well too - I never get home and think "woah, where did my foundation go?" anymore. I use it with the Laura Mercier Radiance primer for a perfect combo.

I'm more than twice your age and I still have oily skin (although it's starting to age around the mouth somewhat.) I still need to blot that oil! Always good to know there are oil free foundations and CC creams for us oily skin gals!

I’m loving that I found you! I have very oily skin and big pores and I love that without makeup you don’t have super super flawless skin (although you have gorgeous skin), you are more like me. I find I relate to you more because of that. So thank you for trying these makeups and helping save me money hehehe. Officially a fan! Request though, is there any way to show us the results after you put the rest of your make up on without the ultimate/highlight part on your cheeks? It’s hard for me to judge the shine with that on.
I’ve been obsessed w this one for everyday wear ! It has high SPF soooo such a winner !!! I don’t have to worry about putting sunscreen on before foundation in day time 😆
When CC creams first came out they advertised that the shades kind of adapted to your skin shade so you didn't need an exact match. I started using them because I could never find a traditional foundation to match my skin tone
No joke - every time you try a product you love for oily skin I end up loving it. I don’t even need to try things out anymore - I will immediately buy something on your recommendation and it becomes a favorite. Thanks for all your help in testing and finding good products for oily skin and letting us know. We should all be sending you a finder’s fee or something LOL.

I just reviewed this as well, and I am overall impressed with this product, love the skin care benefits and SPF, this is perfect for an afternoon out in the sun. However, I also found it slightly breakdown toward the end of the day! After using it with different primers and powders, I find it can last fantastically using Becca's Ever Matte Primer and Kat Von D Translucent Powder - and using Urban Decay De-Slick Spray (those are my 3 holy grail products for most foundations to last through the day) But I am happy with it!! :)
I wear my hair in pony tails too! I wear them way down close to my neck. Much easier to deal with.they won’t fall forward. I like it products. Please try the powders and the mascara. I like them both. 💖

Hi there Lourdes! I love them both but I find the new matte version to be a bit more difficult to blend than the original. Now it still blends well but just not as easy as the original. I like to apply my foundation quickly and I prefer both the original and the matte applied with a damp beauty sponge, preferably my real techniques sponge. But it is really a nice foundation. I've reviewed it a couple times already and compared it to the original. If you already love the original, I don't feel the matte is absolutely needed. But since I review a ton of products and I have oily skin, I had to try the matte. It isn't a full on matte either. It has a nice glow to it but not as shiny as the original. I really love it but since I have a ton of the original and I love both formulas, mixing them together works great for me. Hope that info helps :)
Linda yes, it was not as easy as the original to blend. And I definitely have to wear a mattifying primer or mattifying spf. Australian Gold SPF face 50 looks really nice underneath it.

I was so hyped when I saw this video to go and buy. Silly me did it way too late at night and didn’t realise there was a matte and OG formula. Matte isn’t available online on the Sephora website yet so it didn’t click. Hoping the OG formula still holds up, might just need some mattifying though the day 🤔

Thanks for the review, love that a girl with oily skin reviewed it, I would have liked to see how it did in hot weather. I'm combination and I think all the reviews I've seen are on girls with dry or normal skin. I'm thinking about trying this on an up coming trip to Thailand. I wore their regular cc on a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam, it did okay but in hot and humid weather I think I need more help in the mattefying department and with sweat messing up makeup.

Great review! (as always!) I haven't tried this one yet, but I have their regular CC Cream, the Illumination CC Cream and their Bye Bye Foundation! Love them all... I have not tried any thing in their line that I didn't love. Their under eye cream and the Bye Bye Lines serum is fabulous too! I'm an IT Girl!
I couldn’t wait to get this matte CC cream! My face got shiny too. Though I felt it got cakey between my brows and where my glasses rest on my face. I like it but still trying to get it to work better. So far not my holy grail foundation. I have better results with my Physicians Formula BB cream!

The third listed ingredient is alcohol, that’s a lot of it..... bad for the skin as,alcohol weakens and dries the skin. Very disappointed in Dior

Also, I'd highly recommend not skipping your skin care with this because even though they say it's skin care too you definitely still need your normal routine. I'm so excited to try this, I'll be ordering it ASAP!
P.S. Doing these tests the way you have been isn't the most reliable way because there are too many variables. If you want to prime one half and not the other then you need to choose one tool. And if you want to try 2 different tools you need to either prime the whole face or not at all. That's the only way to tell which method is creating a difference in the results. Food for thought.

You've GOT to give Chi Chi's Super CC Cream a try! It's been around for ages but so worth a look. I'm on my third bottle, I reach for it more than any foundation! It has so many skincare properties as well (HA, collagen, caviar extract + so many more!) but it's not too heavy. I'm sometimes combo/sometimes oily, and even if I don't wear powder on it, it looks perfect and glowy without looking oily or wet, and lasts all day! There aren't too many shades but I blend light and medium between seasons if i need to. Would love to see what you think! Plus Chi Chi is a cruelty free brand!
This foundation is my favorite!! I used original cc but had to blot oil throughout the day but didn’t keep me from wearing it because it’s so wonderful but was so so excited when they released the matte.
I purchased the TSV from QVC which contained the CC cream, the CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder and the applicator brush. I use the powder to set the foundation and where I live it's been triple digit heat plus monsoon season - so humidity! I sweat most products off immediately but this combo gave me some coverage even after I wiped my face several times. I think the powder just sends it to another level.
I'm so happy you did a review of this. This was an impulse buy when someone shared it on Instagram. I'm SUPER oily and I had a very similar experience to you. Blotting the oily off didn't remove the makeup. I don't use primer because my skin doesn't like it. I just used the CC cream and the powder it came with ( I bought it on QVC as a set, CC cream, powder and brush). I'd also like to add I live in Southern California in a very hot area and it's been extremely hot this summer and I wore this for the first time during one of the hot days. I honestly expected the makeup to slide off my face within the hour. It held up. I'm also not a huge makeup person. I have very few products I use. I would absolutely repurchase this product!
Hello Nikkia thank you for searching these products😍 I believe that the sponge in the Sephora palette is there for you to clean your brush after each use. You just swipe your brush across it until it's clean and then you can use the same brush for the next color. I hope this helps.😊

So I ordered this and tried it for the first time today and I ❤️LOVE❤️ it and I'm extremely picky about my foundation and it's basically a 10 out of a 10 for me and I was shocked how PERFECTLY the light medium shade matches my skin tone...I mean spot on! Which I also usually seem to normally have issues with as well. So for me it's a 100% hit! Absolutely love it. It's my new go to. As far as the goodbye pores translusant powder it's good but not worth the price tag... I think the NYX is better and for a fraction of the price. Luv ya Nikkia!

My itcosmetics cc cream and this one are my go to foundation! Never oxidizes, very minimal transfer, and spf! The matte is definitely a thicker consistency then the regular cc cream.

Hi! I just tried the original CC cream recently and I would say if you have combo or oily skin, don't spend money on it. Get a sample if you are really curious but don't buy the full size. My skin is normal to dry (and a bit more mature since I am 41) and the original is really dewy. Even powdered it stays pretty tacky and I think with oily skin it would be sliding around a lot. Love that this cc cream worked and will probably try it but the fact that the two shades that you had were almost identical and they only have 12 shades is unacceptable, IT Cosmetics has to step it up and provide for all skin tones. Love your reviews Nikkia, totally here for them!!😘
I never found a CC cream that gave me enough coverage for my pinky/red undertones on my skin and then I figured I'd buy into the hype and get the original It Cosmetics CC cream. That was about 4 months ago and I have literally used it almost every day since. I freaking love it. Thought I was a matte girl before that and now I love the super glowy/natural look it gives me. Lasts super well too - I never get home and think "woah, where did my foundation go?" anymore. I use it with the Laura Mercier Radiance primer for a perfect combo.

I'm more than twice your age and I still have oily skin (although it's starting to age around the mouth somewhat.) I still need to blot that oil! Always good to know there are oil free foundations and CC creams for us oily skin gals!

When you first put it on, you didn't even look like u had anything on. Very natural. Even with a lil shine, it look good. Healthy. Your oily skin is going to keep u looking young!!

I’m loving that I found you! I have very oily skin and big pores and I love that without makeup you don’t have super super flawless skin (although you have gorgeous skin), you are more like me. I find I relate to you more because of that. So thank you for trying these makeups and helping save me money hehehe. Officially a fan!
Request though, is there any way to show us the results after you put the rest of your make up on without the ultimate/highlight part on your cheeks? It’s hard for me to judge the shine with that on.

I've been thinking bout this product and now you really make me wanna buy it.
When CC creams first came out they advertised that the shades kind of adapted to your skin shade so you didn't need an exact match. I started using them because I could never find a traditional foundation to match my skin tone
No joke - every time you try a product you love for oily skin I end up loving it. I don’t even need to try things out anymore - I will immediately buy something on your recommendation and it becomes a favorite. Thanks for all your help in testing and finding good products for oily skin and letting us know. We should all be sending you a finder’s fee or something LOL.
I'm so glad it worked for you. It really does look amazing on you. I'm tempted to buy it but I've wasted so much money on their other CC creams and have had such poor results no matter what I do that I've totally given up on IT cosmetics.

I just reviewed this as well, and I am overall impressed with this product, love the skin care benefits and SPF, this is perfect for an afternoon out in the sun. However, I also found it slightly breakdown toward the end of the day! After using it with different primers and powders, I find it can last fantastically using Becca's Ever Matte Primer and Kat Von D Translucent Powder - and using Urban Decay De-Slick Spray (those are my 3 holy grail products for most foundations to last through the day) But I am happy with it!! :)
I wear my hair in pony tails too! I wear them way down close to my neck. Much easier to deal with.they won’t fall forward.
I like it products. Please try the powders and the mascara. I like them both. 💖

Hi there Lourdes! I love them both but I find the new matte version to be a bit more difficult to blend than the original. Now it still blends well but just not as easy as the original. I like to apply my foundation quickly and I prefer both the original and the matte applied with a damp beauty sponge, preferably my real techniques sponge. But it is really a nice foundation. I've reviewed it a couple times already and compared it to the original. If you already love the original, I don't feel the matte is absolutely needed. But since I review a ton of products and I have oily skin, I had to try the matte. It isn't a full on matte either. It has a nice glow to it but not as shiny as the original. I really love it but since I have a ton of the original and I love both formulas, mixing them together works great for me. Hope that info helps :)

Linda yes, it was not as easy as the original to blend. And I definitely have to wear a mattifying primer or mattifying spf. Australian Gold SPF face 50 looks really nice underneath it.

I was so hyped when I saw this video to go and buy. Silly me did it way too late at night and didn’t realise there was a matte and OG formula. Matte isn’t available online on the Sephora website yet so it didn’t click. Hoping the OG formula still holds up, might just need some mattifying though the day 🤔

Thanks for the review, love that a girl with oily skin reviewed it, I would have liked to see how it did in hot weather. I'm combination and I think all the reviews I've seen are on girls with dry or normal skin. I'm thinking about trying this on an up coming trip to Thailand. I wore their regular cc on a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam, it did okay but in hot and humid weather I think I need more help in the mattefying department and with sweat messing up makeup.

Great review! (as always!) I haven't tried this one yet, but I have their regular CC Cream, the Illumination CC Cream and their Bye Bye Foundation! Love them all... I have not tried any thing in their line that I didn't love. Their under eye cream and the Bye Bye Lines serum is fabulous too! I'm an IT Girl!

I couldn’t wait to get this matte CC cream! My face got shiny too. Though I felt it got cakey between my brows and where my glasses rest on my face. I like it but still trying to get it to work better. So far not my holy grail foundation. I have better results with my Physicians Formula BB cream!
