Now when I try to import data it works fine even without giving values to the mandatory fields. One or two fields are only required through field level others are made required from page layout.what should be done to Import values only if the required field values are given.
Hi Akshay, when you import data into Salesforce fields required through the field setting must have a value. Fields required through the page layout do not have to have a value. Importing data is interacting with the database directly, so it's bypassing that user interface requirement.

Hi there. I'm not sure of the cause of that error. Do you have multiple business units enabled? Perhaps it's related to that.
