I was on that aircraft that had to circle, it was Thomson airways but we were told that Thomas Cook had to land first so we had to keep circling PMI. WE flew from EMA at 08:05.
Back in 1996 when I flew british airways to gatwick from dallas, I had no problems with customs also my passport was stamped and I was cleared within 5 minutes of waiting to be served. Nice people. :) I was connecting to tel aviv and same thing on return to gatwick from israel, everything was fine as well. :)

I took Alitalia A300B4-203 just before Christmas 1996 and returning from Rome on the 3rd of January 1997, name of planes were Canaletto and Caravaggio. I only realized few months ago that those planes were A300 and were dismissed a few days after I flown them! All of that time I thought they were B747s or A330s as I did not saw them from the outside. The flights were quiet confortable, it was a shame that they were dismissed almost all of them, I think there is some still flying.

Thank you, I recently did a day trip to AMS from LTN with Easyjet and was questioned by both Dutch Immigration and Bedfordshire Police on why I had such a short stay in the Netherlands. I just wondered if you have experienced any problems like that I am also going to be doing the Monarch A300 from MAN to PMI in October returning to STN later that day and this video make me look forward to it very much. No meal service of any sort on the flight, or you just didn't include it? These aircraft were standard on the LGW to MLE service in our day (including a fuel stop somewhere in the Gulf of course).
Why are videos of flights so loud compared to when you sit on the cabin? Is it because people press their cameras against the window? Every time I fly, even on older planes, you can hear the engines and all other nosy parts of an airplane but its muffled, while on youtube all videos have loud planes that seem to drown out the sound of other people in the cabin lol

Definatly 6. Row 7 was the emergency exit.
This day I was at Pmi and saw the Tui making a go around! Was filmed on 20th of august!? I could film the take off of this beast too :)
