I found 2 full odds shinies in a Pokémon Y nuzlocke I was playing a few months ago; Machop and Roggenrola. I got bored and deleted my save file before the run ended because I wanted to restart. Shinies are only as valuable as you perceive them to be.
Zero resets is awesome, I don't think I've seen that since Gamechamp's og gen 1 run! Totally counts as a win, but the infinite resets section was an achievement itself haha

When you mentioned the fact that oras would be harder due to carvanha, I decided to do some research, and I am pretty sure it is impossible to get past one consistently. You get no access to a priority move that isn't contact, and there's no access to a Pokemon with storm drain, water absorb, or mold breaker to get around the aqua jet. Meaning your only way of beating it is hoping the ai just doesn't pick aqua jet, which would not be fun to rely on
In all fairness you beat the champion in a good time with strategy and a not overpowered team. This matchup is unfortunate. You would need to level up your pokemon insanely to beat May after the champion in a single hit. Honestly this would be less pleasing as you just overleveled yourself instead of using a strategy. Theirfore I say you won it. Post game doesn't count.

What he says in the beginning is false you need a minimum of 13 special attack and a critical hit plus the poochyena to have a low enough special defense
you're right, but that chance was so incredibly low(needs -spdef nature and less than 7 IVs in spdef to be guaranteed) that it wasn't worth trying timewise, just going for 14 was faster
i may have gotten it in less resets if i played out all the 13 spatk scenarios, but the extra amount of battles would most likely have taken way more time
