Another terrific lesson, Damian. I love your explanations as to which scales the solos devolve from, and the chords they're played over. Thanks once again.
Damian, you always go above and beyond with your lessons. I watch a lot of great guitar teachers and I don't think I've seen anyone better than you. So thank you for what you do! Also, I want to say that your final words were among my favorite of your inspirational phrases. Serendipitously they seemed to be exactly what I needed to hear.
Too good, too good, too good!!-- one of my favorite solos ever, so cool to see how it's done. Ditto re your inspiring words-- excellent, many thanks!! And Happy Father's Day! 👍💪🙏😊
If I could have had Damian as a teacher when I was a kid, who knows what I could have done. One of my two all time favorite solos the other being Scotty's solo on Too Much. I'd love a Bacci lesson on that.. hint hint. give me some likes people.
Props and respect for spreading information that can benefit life and society. And fir the positive message at the end. Good stuff through and through. All my best
Another terrific lesson with great inspiring words on top! Thanks!! Looking forward to hearing from you the 2 solo.. the ultimate rockabilly guitar course is highly recommended for anyone wants to dig in the rockabilly style .. it’s amazing!!!
Hey Damien, sounded fantastic as usual my friend. And yes, I'm looking forward to seeing that second solo posted, that one has always been my favorite of the two. Thanks again for sharing.... Nice to see the picture of you and yours celebrating fathers day. 👍🙂 Until next time, kind regards... John
Wooooow my Friend TCB 😎 Rockabilly Rules 😎 TCB. Thanks the Voice is good and the Guitar playing also. You are a Entertainer i tell you for sure 😎 Rockabilly Rules 😎 TCB 😎
Hey Damien, it's so interesting that every book or instructional video I've ever seen would recommend against using the low C7 voicing that's used in this song. And it just sounds so right!
I've got a old Elvis guitar book that I bought in the mid 90s and it tells you to play a C power chord but with the G in the bass. Thanks for watching. :)
Thank You Mr@mianblf, yet another great lesson! Are you going to see the new Elvis movie that just came out? Thanx for sharing some word's of wisdom as well.
I absolutely hate this song. I would never learn how to play don’t take me wrong. I really love your show. I love your channel and your videos. You are a great guitarist. I enjoy your channel very much. I’m an old timer guitar player playing for damn near 50 years. I appreciate you a lot. Thanks for all of your videos.😁😄🎸🎼🎶💖
Thanks for watching. I plan on doing the second solo. The version of Hound Dog on Scotty's album "The Guitar That Changed the World" you can make out what he is paying more clearly. The problem on the original recording is that its very hard to hear what he's playing. But I'm not sure if even Scotty remembered exactly what he played on that recording session in 56. :)
Hi Damian, I wish you would feature your daughter a bit more in your videos, she has a great voice and is clearly a chip off the old Bacci block, great stuff
🎵Hi Damian, really enjoyed this video. It has inspired me to get into rockabilly guitar so much I'm gonna learn this tune for my band here in Salisbury, England, UK. I have a question: Can you recommend an inexpensive delay pedal for live use to get that fabulous Scotty Moore sound you have? Really love that Joe Pass Epiphone guitar you use here too! A beautiful guitar in an inspirational video! Thankyou so much for posting this excellent tutorial! 👍👍🎵
Glad you enjoyed the lesson and thank you for watching. Donner has 2 very inexpensive pedals you may want to look into. Check out their "Yellow Fall delay pedal and their "Revecho".
Any tips on how to get my fingers to reach from like 3A5D to 3A7D I have small hands and I just can't seem to get my pinky to reach that far lol any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

When did Chet first play on an Elvis song? and why didn't Scotty continue playing? something about a pay dispute reports Google. Did Chet agree to be paid less than Scotty?
Damien is a great guitar player and a nice comment enthusiastic guy. But his lessons unfortunately are a joke. He literally spent 4/5 of this video talking about himself and his products and 1/5 on the solo itself, which he went through only once. There are far far better videos to help people learn this great solo, because people take the time to go slowly and to explain the tricky parts in detail. Damian is a great showman, but he's definitely not a teacher. I'm actually reluctant to say this because he seems like a good guy. But maybe he will read my comment and decide to actually teach in the future.
We definitely want the 2nd solo!!!
That first chair spin was a perfect 10 👍.
Thank you :)
Spin 2 ..7.5, Sorry Damian you didn't land it😁
Damian you are a joy to watch and learn from! Thanks a lot eh.

Another terrific lesson, Damian. I love your explanations as to which scales the solos devolve from, and the chords they're played over. Thanks once again.
Thank you Mark :)
Indeed that is really a big bonus.
Love it Damian, I hear things better thanks to your lessons. Scotty's stuff on this was insane. Punk yes!
Thank you Dan :)

Another great video. I would love it if you produced a video on your guitars featuring why you chose each and what tones you get from them.
Thank you for watching and yes, that is a great idea for a video :)

The second solo few dare to guess. It will forever remain a beautiful mistery how a pissed Scotty managed to throw it

Thanks for watching Tommy. Hope you have a rockin' weekend. :)
This solo is harder than it looks :)
Damien's a much better guitar player than singer. A lot! Ya always have to lead with one leg out and do the apple pluck Damien; lol! 🤘
I love your teaching style.
Is your rockabilly course a written course or does it have video content?
Thank you very much. My "Ultimate Rockabilly Guitar" course is video content. :)
can you do the second solo too?
I do plan on doing the second solo eventually. Thanks for watching. :)

Thumbpick? 😉
I ran out of fingers before I ran out of circles on the chord chart... 😢

Love the guitar work but ain't gonna lie it's probably my least favorite Elvis song i absolutely hate it! lol
That's OK. 10 million other people bought it when it was released.
Do you have disdain for your audience?
Don't be such a prick.
