The red drone looks like a prototype Laserbeak and the blue drone is probably the closet we can get to the mini-cassette known as Autoscout that Soundwave had ejected once. They're cool, especially with their eject effect, popping out of Soundwave's cassette chest.

Ok i sold on this set. The fact that they fit better then the official tapes is funny to me for some reason. Watching those tapes fly outta soumdwaves chest made me laugh so hard. No idea why lmao. Great stuff as always dude:)

Excellent review of these guys! I actually just ordered a set this past week, so I'm looking forward to them. I think mine will be Soundblaster minions initially, but once we get the upcoming Blaster figure, they'll become Autobot Drone/Rover, since Hasbro always gives Blaster the short end of the stick with minions... Take a hairdryer on high heat to your drone, where the stress mark is located and do 30 second bursts of heat until the plastic "heals". WHILE the plastic is warm, and slightly more malleable, you MAY want to VERY gently attempt to do a proper transformation once or twice so the plastic can flex enough to stretch itself and allow for proper transformation once it cools again. There IS a slight risk of breakage, depending on what is actually binding up to create that stress, so it may simply require the use of an X-Acto blade to gently scrape away a tiny bit of plastic to allow proper movement. Regardless of whether you attempt the transformation fix or not, the hairdryer will repair the stress marks at least. Thumbs up to Crimson Raptors for his generosity to you (and Larkin's Lair also, right?), with these review drones. HOOO-AH, brother!
Having seen the new Blaster and Eject, these guys are definitely going to be part of my Autobot cassette army! Especially since Blaster usually gets shorted on his guys... Although, I DID pick up all 3 versions of the Dr. Wu Squawkbox casette duo, so I could have some Autobot cassettes to bulk up Blaster's boyz a bit more since Soundwave will have the bulk of his cassette minions once SS86 versions happen this year...!
If you have a hair dryer, use it on low setting and the distance is gonna be tricky but it can get rid off that stress mark, just be careful not to over heat and let it cool down for about half hour before trying to do anything 🤔 I’ve done it with vintage toys and it’s work but I have had times where I messed up 😅 so be careful 👍🏽

Actually if you fold out the peg on the robot cassettes the air drone makes a pretty decent flight pack for rumble and frenzy or extra wings for a bat
