@@murasakino101 You navigate each dungeon/building you go into like an old-school dungeon crawler or that one Windows 98 screensaver. You can only move forwards, left/right and backwards in basically grid spaces, and you WILL rapidly bash your face against every wall at a corner or on the stairs.

It's not limited to the school theme, it's the safe zone theme which is mostly the mall.

@@canadianchair405 I don’t think it’s that they don’t care. If they didn’t care, they wouldn’t give us ANYTHING persona 1 or 2 related. They remixed the original PS1 battle theme for Strikers. I think it probably has to do with the fact that the developers are different from 1-2 and 3+, they don’t want to tamper with work that isn’t theirs.

Well the psp port of this game had its whole soundtrack practically remade I think in an effort to appeal to players of the later games (the port came out 2009 for reference) but don’t quote me on that. I suggest looking up the soundtrack for the original ps1 version and you can hear the difference 👍

FINALLY!!! IT RETURNS!!! The first song I ever heard from P1 that prompted me to get the game! It’s also the only song my sis knows as well since I used to blare this loudly in my room while working on school work at times back in college. XD But honestly I like this song and this is one of the few songs where this version’s better than the OG Revelations version imo. Plus with my new job, I can once again get the authentic experience walking around schools listening to this along with Seven Sisters High from P2 and Want to Be Close from P3! Thanks as usual MeRuleDaWorld-kun!

Fun fact, this song is one of the reasons why I got into the Persona series. It appeared to me in my TH-cam recommendations and I decided to listen to it. A few weeks later I picked up a copy of Persona 5 and started my journey with the series.

@@thatoneguy9756 the gameplay is very dated, and the game structure is very convoluted. You can have fun with it if you try to, but reading the manga is much more straight forward and a better way to experience P1 in my opinion.
If you loved playing SNES and other PSX RPGs, I believe you can adjust to Persona 1's system. It's from a time where you got all these numbers and damage types.
I could name Saga Frontier as something similar, which is also big on numbers and attack types and is experimental in its own way.
