I was about to get a 2020 Corolla HB XSE back in 2020, but COVID happened and I didn't know how the income was gonna be so I backed out fast forward 3 years later and I'm in a 2023 GR Corolla.
As an onwner of the corolla hatchback 22 xse i can say the next thinsg. The look of the car is really nice, there is pretty cheap widebody kits for it, that might take the look of the car on another lvl, interior also comfortable, easy to use and drive. From the bad things i can say couple of the stuff, FWD make me sad, yes GR corolla got all 3 options of driving ways, but it also cost too much. It is hard to work with engine of this car, you really can't get 300hp from the stock motor that you got, you can't upply turbo or supercharger on it, otherwaise you gonna blow your engine. The design of the seats ( the mix of the lather and cotton ) kinda awfull, i know some people will say " hey man, you can just buy and change the seats" and yea, you guys gonna be right. Other than what i sayed, wiht car is nothing wrong, car look great, it goes ok
Only thing this car is missing is MORE HP...!!!! damn it needs to be at least 190hp -- 168 is just lacking behind, for where I live this would make it hard to merge into high speeds.
Idk man my 2023 SE hatch is pretty quick. 0 problems merging. Though more go would be great I’m not complaining. Once we get some R&D I’m planning on building the engine or Swapping it anyways.
