The flare plus is hard to find I had one too 2 drivers 2 tweeters 2 passive radiators I have the Glow not bad the plus seemed to put out better sound you know the flare mini sounds decent for its size but not app supported good video always honest with your reviews
Yeah I wonder if there will ever be a true successor to the flare plus. Mine is still pushing. The flare 2 was smaller and so is this glow. I'm thinking maybe I'll get the Soundcore boom 2 since its on sale even though I want a 360 speaker.
I have this speaker designed like the Bose revolve but reminds me of the flare plus which was awesome 25 watts this is 30 watts the lights on this model are great wish they added tweeters like the fare plus but I love soundcore speakers great video
I had the Soundcore Flare 2 and liked it very much, good build quality and sound, the pulse light rings were a nice touch but never really impressed me, they just made the speaker a little more visually appealing to look at. Anker could have called the Glow the Flare 3, but I guess they thought that this would be too boring and decided to spruce up the old design by making the speaker marginally bigger, bumping up the max output by an additional 10W over the Flare 2, and the synchronized light show would somehow attract new customers to buy the product; but also try to keep their existing Soundcore fans happy, especially those who currently own or have previously had the Flare 2. Until I actually buy the Glow, I won't know if I'll like it more than the Flare 2, sound and build quality wise, only time will tell. Personally I think Anker went overboard with the Soundcore logo on the Glow, it's too large and kind of ruins the aesthetic charm of the speaker, but it's not too bad, some of the light show effects were decent and flashed in sync well with the test music being played.
Glow was release under the cover of night 😂 Understandably considering it’s a meh speaker I like the handle though but the screaming logo has gotsta go
I tried to find out but i couldn’t find even photo of this one on Google or soundcore website. The link you mentioned don’t have currently please tell me where can i buy this one
@@687donny the Stormbox Pro is actually of similar size and design. You are probably thinking of the Stormbox Blast, which is a larger boombox style speaker. BTW, I sold off my Stormbox Pro long ago, so I won't be doing that comparison video. I will be doing the Glow vs Flare 2, however. 😉
@@abhi4ify It's a pretty solid speaker, the first run of them didn't have app support. Tribit would later release an updated version that was supported by their app. Ticked me off that mine wouldn't work with the app. I did a video of the Stormbox Pro against the Earfun Uboom a ways back. Those are really different types of speakers. Are you wanting something that sends sound out all around it? Or a more traditional speaker with all sound coming straight out?
I had sold my Flare 2 a while back, but forgot that I had bought one for my daughter for Christmas, so I will be doing a vs video of the Flare 2 and the Glow very soon.
I don;t think any of the Soundcore speakers, in the past several years anyway, have micro-sd card support. That's something you tend to see from some of the cheap, off-brand companies and is kind of outdated in 2023. Some of the bigger Soundcore speakers do have USB-A ports, however. The Glow having a 3.5mm jack is kind of a surprise, especially considering the Flare 2 only has a USB-C charge port and it came out early 2020.
I actually do have a Soundcore Flare 2 on-hand, so look for that vs. video coming soon. 😉
Lights look really cool but yeah no deep bass and lost bass overall pretty quickly it sounded like.

Still have it and love it. Was gonna suggest the glow to my friend but now I don't think I will... 🥹

I think the previous soundcore logo was good, the current "d" logo looks fatter
We all get fatter as we age. 😝
@@JaysStraightUpReviews haha, even as a teenager I'm already obese, I want to live a healthy life, I hope I can achieve that😊
I have one of those and I liked it badass isn't it
Nice speaker, by the way happy thanksgiving
Yes, have a joyful Thanksgiving.
damn cool light effect!!!
I'm probably going to do a video on the app features and the customizable light effects. It is cool for sure. 😉
Can you make phone calls with this speaker? Is it good for calls?
Nice video 👍
How much Battery life at full volumes!

I don't know what you are looking at, but the link I posted in the description to amazon.com has the Glow in stock. 😉
I am in middle east. 😑
No idea where you go to buy the speaker in the middle east. Sorry.
That branding will come of just like the rubber on JBL.
@@macbrebonicks8668 rubber?
Great speaker 🔥🔥🔥
Hi Bro,
does it have a built-in microphone for calls?
Compare to stormbox pro? Dont care abt the lights though
Why would you compare a boombox to a speaker you can fit in your bookbag?

Is it possible to turn off the lower light separately on glow?
Great review
Thanks.
Very Good vídeo!
Could you compare This, with jbl Flip 6 and W-king D320 please?
Possibly, but I have a busy week ahead.
is the sound better and louder than other soundcore speakers?
I think it's better than the similar, older Flare 2. I did a video comparing those two speakers, so check it out. 😉
Jay we need this vs the wking 320
Different styles of speakers, but I may get to that eventually.
@JaysStraightUpReviews jay if ya could grab the wking 320 or soundcore 300 which r ya grabbin let's say ya wanna play mr brownstone and jam
Perfect 👍
This glow or motion plus , which is best
Those are really different types of speakers. Are you wanting something that sends sound out all around it? Or a more traditional speaker with all sound coming straight out?
I just want a base heavy speaker
Now both have priced the same in my country and couldn't decide which one to buy.
Can you pair 2 for TWS?
Yes. You can run two in TWS or multiples in Partycast mode.
Tribit x sound go vs this?
How many drivers in this speaker..??
A single, down-firing driver with two passive radiators on the sides.
Is it really loud? For $79 dollars?
I bet if you watch the video you will get your answer. 😆
How is this compare to soundcore flare?

What?
Jbl flip 6 cover copy 😂
Flow is a no-go. For Me 👎👎👎 😂
Flow as in the Tribit speaker or the chick on the insurance commercials? 😆
