One thing to note about the BFG (The B50FG) is that it is LOUD. You will see your entire radar light up every time you fire this thing. But you can down a Juggernaut in 3 headshots + Finisher with it.
I have it permanently at my base. No matter what character I'm on, if I see a Big Boy bearing down on my base I can pop him in just a few rounds. His massive 50 point bounty (influence) along with the mop up of whatever stray zombies show up pays for the ammo you use taking him down. Assuming you payed 150 from a vendor, and made your own bullets.
I remember an old zombie shooter game that has guns that are spec ops variants that have better accuracy and silence w/o any damage reduction in other silenced guns it was called The Last Stand: Union City
.22 - Prepper's 10/22 9mm - Jl94 Custom .45 - Mac V or Spec Ops Vector SMG 357 HP - Hunter's Viper or Tassie Devil/ The Lawman'ss Viper is a quest item like the World War 1911 it's more or less flavor. 5.56 - X-36C is actually pretty good just because it's the ultimate edition it really shouldn't be counted out. Built in Supressor keeps the wear rate down unlike adding an attachment to a non-supressed gun which even an Advanced causes more than normal wear. 7.76 - Eternal Guard's Infinite Rage. Heirloom Model 70 is rare and better than the Hunter's variant if you're looking for bolt action. 44 Magnum - King Vulture 12g - DEVGRU X12 Infiltrator 50 cal - Timberwolf hands down, it's somewhat silenced, bolt action and fires fast enough to kill hearts before outside zeds get to you so the lower firerate isn't really an issue. Melee Sweet Skull Sword and Uber Hammer. Bastard of Belleau Wood is solid, the L6 Mace is not. Monogear Axe is probably better than the Bastard of Belleau Wood in practice, decent lethality and quick to swing with low stamina cost. Stats on it are just a bit deceptive is all.
I like the L6, other than that I usually arm my people with Rebar Blades. I like the Prepper 10/22, and I prefer the M4X2 for 5.56 weapons. It's a shame I don't know what happened to the ones I had (had 2, misplaced them somewhere).
The monogear is pretty common in terms of rare weapons if you're trying to collect them all it can be a drag, but they're still quite good, definitely better than the Replica Bastard Sword which from my experience is just as common and I'd argue better than the Bastard of Belleau Wood due to stamina costs and swing speed with it's solid lethality. If you have the Ultimate Edition it's actually really hard to beat the Apocalypse Bat and Apocalypse Sword respectively. On the Blunt Side I'd say a Transmission Mace does do it on the caveat you have Striking, that'll keep the knockdown where you want it and it has higher durability which is just about the only stat that matters on the blunt weapons. The Apocalypse Sword has good stats all around and solid durability for a bladed weapon, if you have Swordplay you can execute from the front, but it does cost durability of your weapon so having a good durability sword with Swordplay might be more important than it's actual stats. For somebody with Close Combat and Powerhouse counter-intuitively you just want a weapon, this speeds up your standing executions significantly if you don't have a weapon you throw them to the ground before stabbing them so in that case durability might rain king again. If you were stuck with Endurance then you want a nice balance though Endurance survivors are naturally inferior IMO, they are good candidates for something like the Monogear Axe. Alternatively if you're stuck with Endurance and can still get Powerhouse and Stealth you can save your survivor, when crouching even if you grab the enemy from the front you do the quick Stealth execution animation, this isn't as convenient as Close Combat IMO, but still certainly usable and better than wrestling them to the ground in a mob situation that you want to fight with melee weapons, maybe your gun is out of bullets or broken or something and you have to. - Since Ryan Conroy seems to think I was saying the X36C was the best in class when I was just saying it was high end and almost always overlooked I'd give it to the M4X1 DMR Heavy as the video shows or the Raider AR-15 of the weapons I have seen/found. Clip size tends to rain supreme above all else since if you have a large enough clip you don't need to reload it also keeps you from having to take stacks of bullets when going out if you want and because of this Weapon Handling is pretty much king of the firearms traits so you're never without a weapon. Sharpshooting is 'good' for hordes, but can leave you with an non-working weapon and if you're aiming for mass you're going to burn a lot of bullets and durability to kill something which can leave you without a gun (unless you use a moving outpost, but that's kind of cheesing the game). Gunslinger does have the snap feature, but if you have decent aim it's a waste and the reloading as mentioned is a waste if you're using the massive clip weapons. Finally Assault is a bad joke, if you need recoil that much you're doing it wrong and the kick is the same as the kick when your weapon is lowered but the Assault variant does knock them down however if you're still aiming when they get that close trying to get a shot chances are you're going to get attacked before you try to use the kick and could have just dropped your weapon instead. - So a revised list of the 'best' from all of what I've seen/found in game ignoring rarity would be: .22 - Prepper's 10/22 (50 round clip and a scope all guns one shot head shot so the lack of power is a non-issue) 9mm - Jl94 custom (good all around has auto if needed and a good clip size with scope) *G18 falls short due to lack of a scope for longer shots IMO* .45 - Mac V (built in suppressor and good all around stats if you have Weapon Handling the durability is a non-issue, not the highest mag size, but it should be enough) Spec Ops Vector SMG (reduced stats from the Mac V, but a higher clip, requires a suppressor to match the Mac V which is another .5 lbs for an Advanced Suppressor to factor in total weight should that be important to you.) Tassie Devil (great stats, but no scope) 44 Magnum - King Vulture (not as loud as a revolver comes with a 10 clip magazine that doesn't need to be reloading one at a time and stats good stats. it's a Dessert Eagle by a different name so of course it was going to come with solid specs.) 5.56 - Raider's AR15 or M4X1 DMR Heavy (They both have 50 round mags and a scope, take your pick) 7.76 - Eternal Guards Infinite Rage (150 round magazine and a scope with no weight penalty it's 9lbs like the Prepper's variant) or Heirloom Model 70 (Bolt action is bad because of a low fire rate, but the Heirloom Model 70 has a higher firerate than the Hunter's Model 70 and maintains a scope, if you have to have a Bolt Action weapon the Heirloom Model 70 is pretty light weight and has a decent firerate that it's usable it just doesn't compete with weapons that can have 50+ round mags. It's fairly rare from my experience so you might be better off with an Arctic Warrior which is magazine based, but pretty heavy *double the weight*) 12g - DEVGRU Infiltrator (There is no other shotguns that compare, you get a scope, great clip size, and actually fair accuracy when zoomed all in one package for a fast firing shotgun. 50 Cal - Timberwolf (simply has advantages over other 50 Cals that are somewhat significant unlike the B50FG just boasting a slight firerate boost comparatively. 50 Cal bullets are expensive unless you're deep into your game and just want to mess around they don't offer any real advantage over other weapons unless you have a serious aiming issue and absolutely have to hit center mass to hit a zombie at all. Other ammo is cheaper and will still kill in one shot it won't down a Juggernaut as fast, but IMO they're not hard to kill anyway. They're useful for Plague Hearts and that's about it and once they're done they don't really have a viable use shooting any 50 cal will get you into a larger fight you then have to deal with. The Timberwolf is heavy, but that can be ignored if you're just killing hearts, it's bolt action so you don't have to worry about it breaking ever and can transfer it from community to community if you're speed running to get your legacy rewards without ever needing to repair it which is a good thing since a new community may not have the parts to do so. 1 stack of ammo is enough to kill all the hearts so you don't need a higher clip and the Timberwolf is slightly quieter than the other 50 cals which doesn't really matter in the long run, but it's there. 40mm Grenade - BML-40 (The gun itself doesn't make noise so they move to the area of the explosion should you want to shoot one then shoot the now grouped zombies to kill them all it works fairly well. Grenade Launchers are heavy, expensive, and you can blow yourself up should you forget you're using it, but the BML is pretty solid for it's quiet shooter-centric nature of course you could just use the numerous distractions the game offers instead of a Grenade Launcher or use a silenced gun from a distance and pick off individual enemies.

Great video. I just wished you had included which of the guns could be set from full auto, to burst and to single auto, and which are locked at full auto, so as I can never remember and have to literally try each gun out before deciding on a gun for a character. Rare weapon crates which are in specific locations for each map. Search up "Rare weapon crate locations". The new RTX guns come from Red Talon Traders. To meet them, just keep going to the wandering traders.
I know this video is 4 yrs old; but I’ve never seen a 50cal rifle that holds 7 rounds &/or 12 rounds as shown in this video. I’ve done the rare weapons farm 100’s of times recently & have NEVER seen those 👀 I’m assuming the devs took them out of the game?
dominic smalley there are some m4x1s with bigger ammo drums. I know if you go to special traders like the ones that disappear in 3 hours, red talon traders or even the weapon traders that you kill in the warlords questline they sometimes carry um
CrispyByte this one guy had a thing I don't remember what it was called but it's description said it was a pickaxe head? And finding a combat knife is pretty hard I usually find one doing the bov quest in the "my aunt's a prepper" line and that's it.
The prepper 10/22 is such a garbage weapon. it break so fast, must be a bug because the durability bar is hella high but it breaks faster than any gun ive used, even without a suppressor.
Where did you find the character you are playing as most of the time? Ive never seen that character model, are you using that mod that gives you the character you want on pc?
Looking back at the video, I can tell the accuracy from the reticle. The only one that I didn't showcase well is the first gun because I zoomed in then started spraying. If I had waited a couple moments, people could clearly see the reticle which shows you how accurate it is.

All I can say is, if you want the weapons shown, farm the locations on Meagher Valley. By farming I mean making a new community, then looting all the locations, or you can change maps over and over. If you want other weapons I suggest you farm maps other than Meagher Valley because I farmed only Meagher Valley and couldn't find any other weapons.
I’m playing in Lethal Zone and all I use is .22. It’s cheap and precise. I have 5 Red Talon Soldiers who I equipped with Fake A 47s as their main weapon and a Civilian Uzi 22 as their sidearm. The rest of my troops carry Prepper’s 10/22s as their main and Extended Mk3 as their sidearm. Does anyone have suggestions for other .22 weapons? I’m always trying to evolve and improve the equipment my community uses.
Also in lethal zone, when I leave my character always leaves alone as to not risk losing guys. I always carry a prepper's 10/22 with an advanced silencer and advanced brake (to suit different needs) and sometimes some firecrackers as diversions. You should equip your guys at the base with better weapons because your guys don't actually use any ammo when defending against zombies when youre not controlling them. I always give them guns like eternal infinite guards and I unload them as well as they don't need ammo to actually fire the guns. Also set them on fully auto before switching to a different character so your guys shoot fully auto. They always end up switching it back to single burst but still. I'll bring back hordes and like 2-3 plague juggernauts at the same time to my base and they always handle them with ease, my base has 10 RT soldiers and 2 regs though.
I'm yet to find any weapons that use 44 sadly and I have all the achievements and stuff like that I've found everything but, I think the GSG-W is the best though especially with a muzzle break
In my opinion the operators m4 is superior to the heavy duty m4 yes the heavy duty m4 can zoom further BUT the operators m4 can go full auto and zoom still so its more of a jack of all trades when playing, you can use it on plague hearts and snipe with it

CrispyByte you could also get them by trading with the "mysterious" traders mission. You could get the timberwolf, BML, or the BFG50. However they cost a lot of influence.
As someone put it wander round the edge of the map and you will find the wepon boxes. Black with orange lining. Also army camps and roadblocks help especially the box shipping containers. I found my timberwold and it's ammo press in the last army roadblock that I had gone through like 20 times. Problem was that was after I bought it and all the other ammo presses from a trader ...
personally i really like the Operator's M4 and the Prepper AK. i love mil-sim aesthetic especially in survival games like this. the first AK looks cool but nothing i would use other than for a joke lol. edit: i make this edit after seeing the GSG-W and now i really want it.

Both use 3 shots to kill a heart but b50fg shoots faster = faster kill, but it also degrades so you'll have to repair it eventually. And thanks haha, I'll aim for 10 min. but not guaranteed -- not gonna put some garbage content in just to make it that long ;)

dwlr007 excadaver is pretty good as well
I didn't include the SCAR-H RT because SOCOM II RT is a direct upgrade imo.
This gun should be Top 20: M4X2 Lite SSW which holds 100 rounds.
A whole lot better. Although I like the M4 SXX best of the lot.

wow, Eternal Guard's Infinite Rage! i actually found 2 of these during a single playthrough; one off of the arms dealer during the Warlord's "Weapons for All" mission, and the second I think i bought off of a Red Talon vendor, if memory serves. awesome weapons, though the reloading animation makes me wanna rage so damn hard :S

Great video. I just wished you had included which of the guns could be set from full auto, to burst and to single auto, and which are locked at full auto, so as I can never remember and have to literally try each gun out before deciding on a gun for a character. Where do I find these guns? I have 3 of them but some of those guns I’ve never even seen and I have over 100 hours in the game.
Rare weapon crates which are in specific locations for each map. Search up "Rare weapon crate locations".
The new RTX guns come from Red Talon Traders. To meet them, just keep going to the wandering traders.

The prepper 10/22 is such a garbage weapon. it break so fast, must be a bug because the durability bar is hella high but it breaks faster than any gun ive used, even without a suppressor.
Where did you find the character you are playing as most of the time? Ive never seen that character model, are you using that mod that gives you the character you want on pc?

you didnt show off the accuracy of the gun you just sprayed around
It also shows the accuracy. I chose to go the fun route and spray.
Looking back at the video, I can tell the accuracy from the reticle. The only one that I didn't showcase well is the first gun because I zoomed in then started spraying. If I had waited a couple moments, people could clearly see the reticle which shows you how accurate it is.

All I can say is, if you want the weapons shown, farm the locations on Meagher Valley. By farming I mean making a new community, then looting all the locations, or you can change maps over and over. If you want other weapons I suggest you farm maps other than Meagher Valley because I farmed only Meagher Valley and couldn't find any other weapons.

I’m playing in Lethal Zone and all I use is .22. It’s cheap and precise. I have 5 Red Talon Soldiers who I equipped with Fake A 47s as their main weapon and a Civilian Uzi 22 as their sidearm. The rest of my troops carry Prepper’s 10/22s as their main and Extended Mk3 as their sidearm. Does anyone have suggestions for other .22 weapons? I’m always trying to evolve and improve the equipment my community uses.
Also in lethal zone, when I leave my character always leaves alone as to not risk losing guys. I always carry a prepper's 10/22 with an advanced silencer and advanced brake (to suit different needs) and sometimes some firecrackers as diversions. You should equip your guys at the base with better weapons because your guys don't actually use any ammo when defending against zombies when youre not controlling them. I always give them guns like eternal infinite guards and I unload them as well as they don't need ammo to actually fire the guns. Also set them on fully auto before switching to a different character so your guys shoot fully auto. They always end up switching it back to single burst but still. I'll bring back hordes and like 2-3 plague juggernauts at the same time to my base and they always handle them with ease, my base has 10 RT soldiers and 2 regs though.
I'm yet to find any weapons that use 44 sadly and I have all the achievements and stuff like that I've found everything but, I think the GSG-W is the best though especially with a muzzle break

In my opinion the operators m4 is superior to the heavy duty m4 yes the heavy duty m4 can zoom further BUT the operators m4 can go full auto and zoom still so its more of a jack of all trades when playing, you can use it on plague hearts and snipe with it

CrispyByte you could also get them by trading with the "mysterious" traders mission. You could get the timberwolf, BML, or the BFG50. However they cost a lot of influence.
and also go to normal trader missions - there's a chance of them being Red Talon Traders who'll sell awesome stuff ;)

As someone put it wander round the edge of the map and you will find the wepon boxes. Black with orange lining.
Also army camps and roadblocks help especially the box shipping containers.
I found my timberwold and it's ammo press in the last army roadblock that I had gone through like 20 times.
Problem was that was after I bought it and all the other ammo presses from a trader ...

personally i really like the Operator's M4 and the Prepper AK. i love mil-sim aesthetic especially in survival games like this. the first AK looks cool but nothing i would use other than for a joke lol.

Both use 3 shots to kill a heart but b50fg shoots faster = faster kill, but it also degrades so you'll have to repair it eventually. And thanks haha, I'll aim for 10 min. but not guaranteed -- not gonna put some garbage content in just to make it that long ;)
