Here goes my Part 2 breakdown of #AvengersInfinityWar in 0.25x speed. I have found 14 new additional details that will surely blow your mind. Lemme know your favorite details lads! ;)
The fact that Tony Stark carried the flip phone everywhere with him just in case to me was cool to see. Something he didn't invent but something that was given to him for emergencies from an old friend. Its not in his character to do so which is why the phone has so much significance to their relationship as friends.
I love how laid-back Thanos looks during a lot of the fight scenes, it really shows how powerful he is that he doesn’t even need to put all of his energy into fighting.
I've always felt like Thanos doesn't actually want to combat them, he just wants to get the job he set out to do completed, That's why he's so gentle with Wanda, disables Tony and then let's him sit down, he actually only seems to react aggressive if attempts are made to make it more difficult for him, like Mantis got thrown for making him recall the feelings from killing his own daughter and the guy that sent Hulk to Earth died for making the process far harder. But you're right, his combat skill far exceeded everyone he encountered in Infinity War
In terms of power, movie Thanos is literally a baby compared to his comic version. But the fact that even the nerfed MCU Thanos was a nightmare for the avengers and the universe is quite impressive.
It's always fascinate me how Tony always learn and improve his suits from his mistakes throughout the Marvel phases until his death. And I think its a good lesson that through failures we actually learn and be better everyday.
Marvel's peak right here imo. it's insane how much love and detail went into this movie. Infinity War is nearly just as much a love letter to the fans as Endgame is.
I think what made the camera work in the Hulk fight feel so much better was that the camera was always on the ground or near it Aside from maybe being from the point of view of one of the Asgardians, it emphasized the size of both Hulk and Thanos, and it was just done really well
Right ! Good observation. I also think it works because the camera was constantly moving but not shaky cam like most action movies/fight scenes where it’s moving at an indistinguishable rate.
The camera was also "lagging" behind a lot as it was actually following Hulk's perspective instead of Thanos' because he wasn't able to keep up with his moves. This helped accentuating Thanos' movement speed compared to Hulk's
It feels that way because people are always talking about no way home and endgame even though truthfully infinity war is the better film out the 3 though
That Thor observation really sets the tone for him for the next few movies. It really should have been a little more direct. It explains why he dropped the idea of conjuring his power without Mjolnir or Stormbreaker, and why he was so set on getting Stormbreaker in the first place. When he really needed it, it 'failed' him, and resulted in the death of Loki. I guess it's kind of the reason why some people wanted to see more of the fight leading into that scene, and seeing Thor get into that shape. Without that tiny piece of narrative, it makes Thor look childish, like he just learned something new, and immediately gave up on it.
A detail you missed in the infinity war breakdowns is that after that initial battle between the avengers and Corvus glacé and the blue lady, cap says let’s get him to the jet and the scene cuts to the jet taking off from the entrance of the parking lot, yet the toll booth stand retracts therefore like a good law abiding citizen, Captain America payed the toll for his Quinjet.
In my opinion, its kind of amazing how fast Tony's reaction time is and how he could keep up with a lot of the fights and keep up with all the info when he's in the suit. He's not just a man with a suit, he's a warrior in a suit.
True. But they could’ve shown a similar thing for Strange as well. Maybe show him conjure a smaller shield or something. He takes a grenade explosion nearly point-blank and is almost completely non-injured. Even in no way home, Goblin’s pumpkin bomb explodes right in his face and he’s barely scratched
@@TonyMontana-pg6to I assume he uses some sort of invisible defensive magic, which like in Dune passes slow moving objects and deflects fast moving. Or it's his magically enchanted suit. Or just the plot armor)
I dunno, you see a round thing suddenly rolling to you out of nowhere, anyone with a brain would react and protect themselves. Especially if you got some special plot-nanotech-armor.
'Peter webbing his eye'- detail can also be reasoned with how Strange changed his attack plan the next time he chose to fight Thanos. He realised Thanos is unbeatable in hand to hand combat, So He chose to attack him using his spells and tricks. That's when we see that cool fight between Thanos vs Strange. Good detail!
I am fascinated how he finds details but I found a very small detail in this video at 9:16 how he says "no characters were ruined" showing thor in love and thunder and "no characters were wasted" showing gorr as the gorr one of the most powerful villan was not explored and literally wasted in that film. Good work lad. (And give me a thumbs up if you didnt notice that😂😂❤)
I recently noticed that in the beginning, when Bruce and Hulk are arguing, and hulk says „no“ you can really see, that half of his face is green and the other human. That’s really a great detail…
It would have only taken 9 more seconds to make this video twice as profitable. The fact you didn’t do that really shows that you still respect your craft & your audience. Much respect Canadian Lad 👍👏
Does anyone else tear up watching these Infinity Saga videos? There will never be another saga like this, and the amount of detail and care put into them is admirable
I think this still might be my favorite MCU film so far. I love it even more than Endgame, even though I see them more as parts 1 and 2 of the same story. Just the fact that they lose at the end makes it a really special one to me. That being said, I really wish Thanos would've had a better reasoning for wanting to exterminate half of the universe tho. Like his reasoning from the comics was fine. It was actually better even, at least in terms of making logical sense it was better. Maybe not better for the film though.
2:08 my theory is that he may be calling mjollnir cause as you said this took place right after thor ragnarok and he might have sub consciously tried calling mjollnir
5:38 I wouldn't think that that was actually Tony reacting but rather the suit. It may have been cut off from Friday but surely is still able to scan and evaluate for threats in the surroundings
Great vid as always, but I gotta say I find it hilarious that at the beginning you said “these are all new details” then after a while “I know this was a repeat, but it’s the only one I swear” and then show another one “to explain the next detail” 😂😂😂
Here’s a detail I noticed while watching Infinity War. At the beginning, when Loki tries to stab Thanos, you can see the particles of the space stone going all the way down his arm. This shows how strong Loki really is.
When the GOTG vs Iron man team was having a showdown, U can actually see Strange's hand was Shaking (The part Where Stephen said" What Master do you serve" )
I always noticed that the coreography behind Iron Man nanosuit, but never noticed that he was protected before create the blade and this is what made him vunerable to Thanos final stab. Really alwesome detail. Never noticed the Spiderman one about Titan's gravity. Great video, as always,
Videos like this is why I'm thankful for the Russo brothers. I still don't understand why some people don't appreciate what the Russo brothers has done with Inifinity War and Endgame. I know they're not perfect, but they nailed the 2 films I mentioned
What is your opinion about Gray Man? Many people say it's just an okay film. If yes, why do you think the Russo's weren't successful in this? I would like to know
"There will be no reused details in this video" "okay but this this is the only one" "Yeah yeah another one but I just HAD to show you guys again you know?"
You really went to next level.. the dedication speaks right here. Keep the good work, man. Your fans loves you and we hope to see you in one of many comic cons.
Hello lad,you made me unbelievably happy with this new breakdown, can't wait to see what new Amazing details you have noticed this time 😍 P.S the thumbnail Is really great tbh
Fun fact: not a .25x speed detain but as Cap fan this always amazed me Captain America's role was just 7:15 min in INFINITY WAR & still you will never feel that steve rogers is missing from this movie. & movie was so engaging that we literally forgot where is Hawkeye? Acc to initial scripting Steve's entrance was just before Wakanda Fight, but later on they changed it as Cap is fan favourite
Infinity war was already my favorite mcu movie but after watching your break down I'm loving it even more... Really appreciate your efforts and excellent work... Keep it up!
I just noticed something related to your video. For point #13 (@8:18), where you're talking about the nanotech adjusting to use different parts of the suit to recreate other parts of the suit, I noticed the same behavior in "No Way Home." In the scene where Otto and Peter meet and are fighting on the bridge, Otto rips off the chest plate of Peter's suit and integrates the nanotech into his robotic arms. Just as he's ready to stab Peter in the chest, Peter uses the nanotech for his helmet to create a new chest plate to protect him from the attack. I think it's interesting that the creators carried over the same behavior between the movies to maintain continuity between the tech. Very good eye on the details!
Hey Canadian I didn't know you notice this that in spider man homecoming TS says that "if you are nothing without your suit then you should not have it" .In Ironman 3 there is a scene TS driving car and ask kid for status of his suit and then he got anxiety attack that is because he is believe that with out the suit he is nothing, and when that kid tells him "He is mechanic so build something "then he realise that he is Ironman and it is just a suit. That is why he says that to Peter. Second thing that is in the third installment of captain America, iron man and Thor and Spiderman they realise that they are those heroes not their belongings or I ment from grate Power comes grate responsibility..
5:11 That actually makes the scene where Dr. Strange says he only saw one timeline out all the ones he checked they only win once and it's the one with Iron Man using the gauntlet. This scene here you pointed makes that moment all the more impactful that perhaps the only reason they won is because both Dr. Strange and Tony Stark could put their ego's aside to help one another achieve feats neither could on their own so they share that smile there I bet has a reason on why they won in one instance of all those timelines that Dr. Strange saw. I'd like to imagine there was a time where America Chavez sees this moment and perhaps this moment could lead to her trusting Spider-Man who's close to Doctor Strange and who is also close to Iron Man both of who needed Spider-Man to be people people and show Peter a good example as well as to why they're Avengers ☺ I'm not a writer or anything so I'm sure I got many many things wrong but just some thoughts I had when I saw that moment again.
Wow. I've seen this movie more times than I can count and I never noticed the shifting nanotech for the repulsors and the blade during the Thanos fight. Outstanding work!
One question: if you're gonna repeat details from the first breakdown for whatever reason, what's the point in swearing up and down that you're not gonna do it at the start of the video? It can't be to stetch the vid to 10 minutes, because it's 9 seconds short of that. So what is it? Just be honest
As great and as much as I loved Endgame, I think my favorite Avengers movie is Infinity War. And that one line from Tony while fighting Thanos "You throw another moon at me, and I'm gonna loose it" just gets me every time.
4:12 notice how Spidey's muscles flex after catching the hammer for Ironman. Also shows Spiderman's power scaling. (seen also on No Way Home, how he casually kicked the Lizard, saving Mj and Ned) to think he's still just a kid going to college.
The fact that he made another one is just amazing. The amount of effort he puts in his videos truly shows us how much he cares about entertaining us. Props to everyone behind the scenes and if you!
@4:25 they didnt CGI Spidey for a nano second. he was still in the frames after that. plus if it is a 3D model, that means it exists behind Cull Obsidian's weapon. so yes, you can see him because that model is there. nothing crazy nor is it some sort of cool detail.
5:36 you had me there... good comment, 'cause I know you said this detail in the last breakdown 😂👌.... it was worth another mention tho... that scene was well thought about 👌

Tom: I save Mantis with my nano spider feet.
Tobey: Cool, I save MJ with my OWN web.
Andrew: I save MJ without that nano tech and web. ✌
One question: if you're gonna repeat details from the first breakdown for whatever reason, what's the point in swearing up and down that you're not gonna do it at the start of the video? It can't be to stetch the vid to 10 minutes, because it's 9 seconds short of that. So what is it? Just be honest
9:27 He said the thing
"Because Tony Learns From His Mistakes"-Allen Tsai.
That's what I thought 😂
Too bad TCL didn't make a reference to that guy
As great and as much as I loved Endgame, I think my favorite Avengers movie is Infinity War. And that one line from Tony while fighting Thanos "You throw another moon at me, and I'm gonna loose it" just gets me every time.
4:12 notice how Spidey's muscles flex after catching the hammer for Ironman. Also shows Spiderman's power scaling. (seen also on No Way Home, how he casually kicked the Lizard, saving Mj and Ned) to think he's still just a kid going to college.
9:16 Hulk: yes no character were ruined
The fact that he made another one is just amazing. The amount of effort he puts in his videos truly shows us how much he cares about entertaining us.
Props to everyone behind the scenes and if you!
Its actually sad when you realise marvel will not make movies like this after endgame and infinity war
