The concept, the styles, it was all Key’s. Yup he is the brain behind this. He also said that not to associate this to kwangya or bad love because this is a whole different concept.
It was all Key's idea. he fought for it the way he wanted everything to pan out, even prepared a whole ass long powerpoint presentation on the meeting for his album and concept to showcase his ideas.
I saw a comment somewhere else about how this seems like a kind of parallel song to Taemin’s “Advice” in that it’s all about “hey, I know what I’m doing because I’ve been in this industry for ages and y’all can kindly F off now. Just try me!” And I love that coming from my two SHINee boys!

i love that the song lyrics read as a diss track on the surface level, but it’s a the story of key getting to where he is now if you know him. he’s was constantly criticised and doubted for his choices from his fashion to his career decisions. even back then he knew if people criticised him, then he must be on the right path and successfully pushing the boundaries he set to cross. now he’s enjoying the fruits of his past labour. all the choices people doubted have paid off and then some.

Yes, everything you see and hear with "Gasoline" was all Key's brainchild. Everything from his outfits to the backup dancers looks, to the set design and story concept, as well as the song lyrics for "Gasoline" and this whole album, were designed by Key. He created a whole professional powerpoint presentation to show the stylists and producers exactly what he envisioned for this entire album, and every aspect of it is all part of his design. When people say, "there is no one or nothing out there like it," they are right. Key is 100% that artist. A legend on par with Taemin's legendary concepts and styles. No wonder they are both members of SHINee.

SHINee are always on another level and they are constantly outdoing themselves with every new project. It amazes me after so many years that SHINee can still continue to reinvent the Kpop industry with every new release, whether it's as a group project or one of the member's solos, and yet they do it every time without fail.
You have to check out his "Gasoline" dance practice next, and a live performance of his B-side song, "Villain," which features Jeno from NCT-Dream, as well as their dance practice for "Villian."
Beyonce's choreographer - a longtime, hardcore Shawol (!!!) - did the choreo!! I'm so sorry I've forgotten her name (Kany?)! There's a reason SHINee are legends together and apart.

He is real King Kibum！King of Keyland, King of Kpop, he made an amazing art for us. So handsome, So talented, So incredible!
I was waiting for your reaction! This was all key's brainchild he said the concept was related to 'Key's Kingdom' (nothing to do with Kwangya lol) and the visuals/outfits tried to convey a demi-god feel. He said he's never done something with a strong vibe like this and he wanted to kind of convey the vibe of "if you're confident, come at me." Kenzie produced the song specifically for Key and he wrote most of the lyrics with her support (he said this album is more autobiographical). He fought so hard for it and said 27/30 people during production voted against it but he went for it. I just think this is the most key he's ever been and I'm so proud of him.
and as always when Key set out to do something he fought and won and did what he had envisioned, a thank you to the support of his team

This era is just jaw dropping! Every album he gets more and more creative control from SM, it's wonderful to see because he's just so creative. He wrote these lyrics with Kenzie, and 3 more from the album too, he said they are the most autobiographical he has been with his music yet. He actually premiered Gasoline at the giant stadiums for the SMTown concerts which felt perfect for how anthemic this song sounds!

it was SOOOO amazing key really did it again!! he managed to outdo himself yet again and i'm so here for it. this mv is literally so visually stunning and captivating i cannot get enough of the greek mythology references and also key's outfits??? hello??? legendary. i absolutely loved the album, my favorite song is the tt and for bsides my favorite songs are bound, guilty pleasure and villain. i think youre going to love it lol

I saw on twitter that Key even prepared a powerpoint presentation for this and discussed that with the company for more than 2 hours. I know just like in Bad Love, Key is the one leading on these concepts. Such a genius. Even the DVD design of the album is his idea.

Key is the brain besides all of his art, ALL of it belongs to him, that's why he's legendary, he even wrote the lyrics of Gasoline and 3 more songs from the album
shinee and shawols don't care for kwangya lol we pretend it doesn't exist. There's Keyland, TaeminLand, MinhoLand, OnewLand, and JonghyunLand and together it makes up SHINee World (this is all Key's idea that he developed 4 years ago)

RJ I literally constantly share your channel and see your channel is growing fast. :-) I want you to know in Kpop we (almost all KPOP fans) can tell the difference between clout chasers using KPOP to grow the channel. We know anyone who agrees ALL the songs in KPOP is amazing, is fake. LOL We can tell the ones who scream, jump up and down, hitting the table drama like, walk out the room, and HUGE ETC of FAKE reactions is just that FAKE. We love the ones who are brave enough to say, "I ACTUALLY DON'T LIKE THE SONG BECAUSE.... AND I LOVE THE SONG BECAUSE.... I DON'T LIKE THIS AND THAT..... BECAUSE....." NO MATTER HOW LARGE THE FANDOM IS. We can literally tell who's fake and who's real. I share your channel on EVERY SINGLE VIDEO. Because Rj you're what KPOP NEEDS. What people don't understand is Kpop artists, their staff, companies, other idols, etc watch these reactions. IF they're real reactions like yours. You get invited for before the release MV, talk to the artists, and invited to Korea. ALL OF WHICH I'M TRYING TO GET YOU BY SHARING. Our Almighty Master Key SNAPPED…this is absolute PERFECTION. You’re gonna HAVE to check out the Studio Choom…it’s, as expected, iconic. I’d love to crawl in Kibum’s brain sometime…he really is one of THE most creative artists with his concepts, fashion designs, music, etc. It’s difficult to imagine how he “locks” away all that imagination and creativity (horrible pun intended…sorry, not sorry). Though he shows it in his every day life, it’s easy to tell it’s just the tip of the iceberg when he comes out with masterpieces like this.
