@@legendstarghost no it won’t, look how many times he had to die just to get one block. This would work in a none hardcore world, but then you would die and just respawn back in the overworld.
@@BazingaIRanOutOfIdeas if you end up getting stuck on the nether roof in a real hardcore playthrough chances are you have some armour and tools already, so one enderman won't be enough to kill you

There are a surprising amount of Minecraft challenges where they're technically possible if you wait an ungodly amount of time for random things to happen

I really thought this impossible. The beginning seemed so incredibly time consuming for such slow progress but once you have wood it becomes really fast so I can see why no one wanted to try this until now

technically if you got lucky enough you'd be able to beat the enderdragon with your fists and nothing else by teleporting to the top of the towers with enderpearls and punching the dragon to death

The probable reason for the low skeleton spawn rate when building directly on the roof is that the entire area below the roof was able to spawn mobs. Towering up reduced the number of available spawn locations to just the ones you had access to.

I watched the montage of getting enough blocks to create the staircase in absolute horror, I'm pretty sure your method of waiting for a skeleton to spawn was just flawed. Of course no new skeletons are going to spawn if you just stand still and let the skeletons that have spawned in the below nether stay spawned! Low render distance and running back and forth to the platform and back would've been the way to go
This is actually usefull for those who are stuck up there in a hardcore world. Cool video!

You need to be between 16 and 128 blocks for a mob to spawn, at the start you were too close to the blocks, and that's why skeletons didn't spawn

I loved this so much, here is a challenge suggestion. Can you get elytra & a dragon head, with out killing the ender dragon? Get to the end & use a block generator to build out & find the 2 items & bring an ender chest to get them back to your base.
They say the dragon was placed on the center island & protected because it is the last of it's kind. The old builders hunted the dragons until only one was left, that was saved & protected by the faction of old builders that left wanting to protect the dragon. Mat pat even made a story from the lor of the game.
Getting a dragon head & elytra is seen as an end game & I don't think u need to kill the dragon!

it is easy you just need like 1000 block to bridge from main island to nearest end city, i did it because i didn't have bow

Hey, uh, how did you fully refresh your health and hunger without losing any of your XP or consuming any of the items on your hotbar? At the top of the staircase, no less, which would have required a ton of hunger-expending jumps to reach (and which is quite a ways away from your spawn location)?
It's also very curious that you decided to voluntarily destroy all of your placed Nihilium blocks, forcing you to wait until an Enderman brought Nihilium to the roof again in order to get more wood. If you had to actually wait for an Enderman to naturally do that, I highly doubt that you would do that so carelessly and for seemingly no reason.
I apologize for the suspicion, but given the widespread faking of Minecraft content nowadays, I'm kind of obliged to ask.
I think he mentioned that he could have the staircase give him more nylium if he needed it, but I found that weird too...
For the healing, it IS possible (and not too improbable) that he died and managed to get the exact same amount of xp, since it was so little. Idk
Exp dropped after death is only changes whenever the Level exceeds 7 or another exp orb that dropped from outside of the player . Example you died with 10 levels of exp whenever you pick it up it will only give 7 levels of exp.
For the hunger part he couldve just walked to get there thus not consuming his hunger
I agree, at 5:23 he also had 19 xp levels which is very suspicious

very nice challenge, i have few questions tho, cant you reset already spawned skeletons below bedrock by changing difficulty until something spawns? (from peaceful to hard) and also i remember that in some snapshots for 1.16 something was generating through the ceiling so you can just brake few blocks with your fists and beat the game starting on normal nether floor. i must say that video is very cool and i enjoyed it
I did try using peaceful mode but it didn’t really work, and I though of using the bone block strat, but figured this was more interesting and hadn’t really been done
