@slapmyfunkybass Nice idea, thanks! The version i've just finished editing for the album is slowed down & more relaxed, but would be cool to do it with drums & bass some day...
I don't believe this song should be touched, but I do think this actually does it justice... bravo, my friend. I'm surprised I enjoyed this as much as I did.
Thx for the commend a06275, i totally love the 3rd movement but never actually learned it myself, just 1 of those things i never got round to. Can't really think of how it might work in a diff style...
dude that is the coolest thing ive seen/heard! cant knock the classic but this is an awesome interpretation, defo the best jazzy version ive seen of it!
Well, I like it. Awesome rendition; and I'm pretty sure you only changed rhythm and duration! However, the whole time, one thought was running through my mind. Screaming. It was: MOAR CHORDDS!
@trople I thought it was an interesting arrangement and can't find myself offended by it. Au contraire. It's playful and fun and retains the essence of it. It makes me wonder how you would treat the Presto Agitato. That could be quite extraordinary!
@5itruuna Thanks for the feedback, album's out if you haven't already got it! Nice & cheap too :) Check the video's description for the link to download/order it.
What kind of piano is that? It sounds wonderful! How does the feel and action compare to a real piano? I've been trying to look for a good one for awhile, but haven't had the time to actually go out to Guitar Center and try all of them.
It does remind me of the ff soundtracks. Tho this i to complex, the music in ff (atleast piano) is often not so damn complicated as i've understood it..
If you find a diamond it's beautiful. But a diamond can be cut many ways without losing it's beauty...

Very good set of changes while keeping the theme the same. Very good over all effect. Loved it.
Man you totally owned that song right there!
Incredible, nice to finally hear someone playing an instrument well.
Out there to change the world for the good.
5 Stars everytime.
Thx for the commend a06275, i totally love the 3rd movement but never actually learned it myself, just 1 of those things i never got round to. Can't really think of how it might work in a diff style...

That's terrific!
That is the best version for Moonlight Sonata, awesome!
best version on youtube
You can't hear dynamics as much because of the camera. But the pianist clearly understands improvisation
Excellent version!
dude that is the coolest thing ive seen/heard! cant knock the classic but this is an awesome interpretation, defo the best jazzy version ive seen of it!

I liked the original version, of course, but this gives it an enjoyable swing.
This is totally awesome!!
**
Absolutely beautiful!
It's a Yamaha P-60. Has 88 full weighted keys, compared to the NP-30's 76 semi-weighted ones.
best version I've heard of it!
wow clap! clap! clap! nice rhythm
@Chartier111290 Thank you, I appreciate your opinion, and what you say about the loss of the sombre feeling.

Well, I like it. Awesome rendition; and I'm pretty sure you only changed rhythm and duration! However, the whole time, one thought was running through my mind. Screaming. It was:
MOAR CHORDDS!

BassGK: good point about the 3rd movement, never even realised that! Nice version on bass. Watching some of your other vids too :)

@Tristan0904 Will consider it, when i'm less busy!
That bass line was more Bossa Nova than lounge :P

@trople I thought it was an interesting arrangement and can't find myself offended by it. Au contraire. It's playful and fun and retains the essence of it. It makes me wonder how you would treat the Presto Agitato. That could be quite extraordinary!
you're very good
geeez amazing
ahahhahah the crazy riffs just like 0:34 kick ass my friend!
I see! This is not perfect, but has some great things! It's pleasant to see that someone can make a really "swing" version of the Moonlight sonata
props.
super
@Chartier111290 I'll have to join to your opinion. I was kinda disappointed by this version, but at the same time amazed by at the pianist's skill.
@5itruuna Thanks for the feedback, album's out if you haven't already got it! Nice & cheap too :) Check the video's description for the link to download/order it.

Can ya do a version that is of rock and roll? THAT IS HOT the version you did!
It does remind me of the ff soundtracks.
Tho this i to complex, the music in ff (atleast piano) is often not so damn complicated as i've understood it..
This is incredible. Do you give lessons?
sick
i get chartier's point. but i loved ur remix. i love them both. good job =)
Excellent 0.o ..
who composed this? however this version is AWESOME!!!
Brilliant :D
Sounds to me its more like a bossanova than a swing type groove...But hell. Awesome rendition man!
i can play this whole song(the classical version) it sounds really good but i like this version better in a way....
this shit is sweet man
Can you also do a version of this in a latin flavor beat, please?
legit man
could you normally dance to moonlight?
Let me rephrase.
would you...?
what kind of clubs do you go to
Good point - have put "bossa" in the title :)
Perfect!!!! :)
Sounds more like Roderigo de Beethoven to me :P Great latin twist!
@Mubofan1693 yes i do know sir ... soy un espanol de valencia, Espana. i know what it means i meant beethoven wouldnt know
Nice one ;-)
Beethoven, Metallica, and anything in between - there's nothing you can't do!
point taken, updated the info
the beggining sounds like combination of the firts and third movement of Moonlight Sonata ;)
Watch my version on Bass guitar too if You like!
@Elsalsero87 Original arrangement, sorry no sheet music.
@Mubofan1693 si, no se si absurdo, pero reconozco que el comentario es acido.
