Around 0:50, the sound of the inflow wind picking up and softly howling makes the hairs on my neck and arms stand up every time. The grass violently swaying with the green cell in the backdrop is just so ominous and beautiful. Then at 1:40, driving up into that huge green-and-black mouth as the cracks of thunder ring out constantly is straight out of a disaster movie about the end of the world. And 2:12 never fails to make me jump.
Correct. They can't form there because its simply too cold. The UK gets the most tornadoes a year per square mile but often get unreported and are very weak. This supercell was very impressive.
It's a mesmerizing sight, though thankfully the ones I saw were a safe distance away and not moving in my direction.I have taken precautionary cover in the basement several times, though, from violent storms.

Green is good, means strong or even super strong supercell t-storm with hail!

Not necessarily it’s caused by the sun shining through a hail core. Hail can happen in non green clouds

Correct. It means hail is inside, and often can mean there is a possible tornado within.
I remember these cells forecasted for the whole area, and they passed through Roma, QLD as a wild set of storms. That's where I live.
I lived through the Gap storm in 2008, this footage is awesome!

Minnesota doesn't get the most tornadoes in the U.S. but we have had memorable ones.And I have witnessed several funnels and tornadoes over the years.
