A couple questions: Have you noticed a difference between making and selling products in the US vs Canada? Would you be up to making a video about that subject? It seems like EVERYONE has made a "culture shock" video about how their lives have changed after moving to a new country, but I'd like to know how your soapmaking has changed. Are some ingredients you use more difficult or easier to get? What suppliers do you miss? You spoke once about how shipping products has changed for you, what else has changed that you've noticed so far? Forgive me, but I'm curious to know 😂. Thanks for the marvelous content! I enjoy watching your videos.

Aw this is a great topic! I’m still working from my existing supplies I purchased in Canada and brought into the states during my move. Once I start ordering supplies and getting my business set up, all will be shared 😊

I have a question. I live in ky where it is super humid during most of the year. Now i am not sure if thats my issue but i noticed when i started making bathbombs with a simple recipe they would come out gorgeous. But when it got hotter more humid they started turning yellow some would have little yellow spots all over it. I even had them dry in the fridge and rap them after but they still turned yellow and dotty. Do you have any suggestions? Would it be the humidity? Thank you for your time.

For bath bomb labels, does the weight have to be the weight before being pressed or after pressed. I weight out 5oz of loose bath bomb pressed but when I pressed the bath bomb and weight it next day it was 4.7oz. What weight should go in the label?

I did not think I would enjoy watching the bath bomb dissolve. :) I was wrong, it was exciting to see.

Thank you for sharing this! I love in a very humid climate in South Africa and used your recipe to make bath bombs, but now I think using too much liquid was part of my mistake. I do have a question regarding compacting your bath bombs in a manual sphere mold using two halves pushed together? I fill mine as much as I can and then push together, and then also tap on a surface a few times, but my spheres are developing dents. However if I don't do that, the bath bombs either crumble or stick to the insides of the mold.

I love all the insights that you share with viewers and checked this video because I want to make bath bombs but the humidity has been high for last couple of weeks and will still be humid for a while yet, so thanks for the info, I'll be trying to make them in a day or two. I've never tried colour combinations that would result in the bath water being brown or grey. Do you think if I used dye for the red and mica for a light green that it will still result in brown water? Or perhaps give up on the idea and just paint the leaves after the bath bomb is dry?

Hi Jerika. Do you find your soap is softer as well? Any ideas to harden them in humid weather?

I moved places within my country and monsoons are extremely humid, everything catches fungus, wooden utensils grow fungus before they dry out after washing, even dry canvas shoes. That's how humid it gets here. I figure i'll have to get a huge box and a humidifier to fit inside if I have to make soap during the rainy season. Did your soaps do fine in the humidity?, Have you got any tips?
