Wow Devon! I just stumbled across your video and usually I’m not someone to comment. But there’s something in you that resonates so much with me and I feel the strong need to say hey! Thank you so much for sharing! I see you. I feel you. I haven’t been properly diagnosed yet because I haven’t been in therapy until now but that’s about to change. I craved and needed help for the past 15 years but somehow I wasn’t been given that help and every attempt of reaching out failed. So last year in another phase of searching some of the therapists I talked to assumed I had bpd and after some research it seemed like I found an answer to my agony. But still, i was so good at masking and (seemingly) keeping my shit together while actually spiralling down in an opiate addiction, that I’m only now facing rehab and probably after that finally a proper therapy. On my path music, art of all sorts and helping others have been my medicine. Even if I struggle a lot with ending projects due to artist blocks, self doubt and anxiety.. even if often I ran away from my own problems while helping friends and family… I always felt like I am following the right path. My gut tells me so. My intuition leads me. And seeing your video just now reminded me that I’m not alone and it’s not all for nothing. I will get the help that I deserve and I will fulfill my dreams after all. Bpd doesn’t have to be a terrible diagnose even if it causes a lot of pain and the stigma is, like you said, pretty bad. But there are also beautiful sides to it. And I choose to embrace them with all my heart. Take care sweet soul sister ✨ sending you love and healing!

Devon, you are so amazing! When you were talking, I could hear and see the resilience you have. I’ve seen you in work and you are meant for this field, you have always been so good with patients! I can already see you changing the mental health field by addressing stigmas and spreading awareness. You go girl!!! So proud of you! ❤
