Manaweblife explores the Ramadhan bazaar in Kuantan along Jalan Mahkota and discovered a unique offering that is seldom seen in the west coast. This video showcases the stall that sells lemang (glutinous rice) packed in the exotic pitcher plant. The stall owner Nor Hafizah explains about her unique dish in this video. Her 3-year old stall is a family business and the lemang in pitcher plant idea came from her grandfather. Unlike lemang in bamboo these pitcher plant lemang is softer and has more aroma as it is not burnt but steamed and only santan puree is used. Customers consume them with serunding (meat floss) or rending curry. Listen to her conversation and watch the interesting offering.
