What’s crazy is xplosive and many other pros used to stream a lot with comms, a lot of these pros are literally dismantling everyone while talking about the type of pizza they’re going to get in the chat, on the receiving end you think they’re sweating l, but in reality they’re goofing around, that’s how large the skillgap was, at least in gow 4

Earlier I got into a custom ffa and said “fuck it, I’m going crackhead mode” played 1000x better immediately. Been watching your tips and tricks videos from the last few years and they’ve been very helpful. When I’m not thinking too hard I feel like everything comes more naturally. I played gears of war 1 and 2 as a kid and pvp sometimes. But I feel like if I played nowadays I would learn really easily. I dont like to use my xbox 1 anymore but who knows

I feel like gears of war 1 was definitely the hardest, every game based on whos the host or who joins changes connectivity, you have to adapt to the lag constantly. Battles were harder with good players, it felt like you were really earning your kills. There was a massive skill gap as well. I remember it got to the point where you had bragging rights if your end game stats said zero actives lol.
Idk man, most of the time gears 1 feels clunky and the connection stuff is always so unfair, you can totally tell who's host by who has the most kills, i really like it but imo Ultimate Edition was the better offering, tho i still love the way OG Gears looks

ty for talking about M&K. I come from Quake so I use right click to jump and gears 5 feels so good with mantle/cover/run bound to right click. I find no reason to bind anything to mouse wheel other than primary MWheelUp and secondary to MWheelDown. I feel like the gears community is very territorial when it comes to M&K coming over to a game challenging with controller since it's been a console exclusive for so long.

I play Mnk, but struggle with wall bouncing like on controller back in gears 3. I don't know how to bind my stuff having roll, wall bounce, roadie run, and jumping cover on the same button makes hella delay. Aiming is like second nature with my experience tho.
the only one you would have to change is your taking cover bind, most people just bind their scroll wheel for taking cover or their side mouse button. also can help changing roadie run to shift if space feels weird
@@vokuhila6913 Thanks! I changed my roadie run to shift just before I saw this and it got rid of the delay to start running. It also fixed(changed) my take cover input from release to press. So I don't have to release space bar to take cover anymore. Awesome, gonna go kill Avexys again lol

Dude, playing halo on mouse and keyboard is a major advantage. If you can click on an icon to open up a program, then you can accurately shoot your weapon. It takes very little to no skill imo. I used to play unreal tournament on mouse and jeyboard back in the early 2000s, and I can tell you with full confidence that arena fps shooter are way easier on mouse and keyboard. Playing on a control takes far more dexterity and physical ability.
Every gears I've always been able to stomp lobby's. Gears 5 i struggle every game because half the team is MNk and/or just don't miss due to the added aim assist and bullet magnetism added to this noob friendly gears. Gears 4 was amazing and my favorite too bad it got followed up by gears 5.
