This was really insightful. using an agency did cross my mind and listing to this video really put things into perspective. I really appreciate these videos.😌🤗 Thank you for all the great content you're putting out. My question is: Would these agencies give recommendations in terms of courses you can do to upskill? Like would they be honest about what they company is looking for? I mean their reaction would give indication that you don't meet certain requirements, but who can give guidance so that it doesn't just stop there?

I have had recruiters be very honest with me about what they truly believe for a position or employer. I had one reach out to me for a position that I had all the skills for but it was far away and really needed someone who was going to hustle and work alongside the company CEO (and she is the one that was open and honest with me about that fact)... so some recruiters will give you tips and go the "extra mile" to really help you and them understand if the position is a right fit. They are not all made equally so, like you said it's best to do your own research for additional skills or anything else and see a recruiters input as the cherry on top. Job descriptions will also tell you which skills are an asset to have. Hope this helps! All the best!
