I teach Chinese with humor and cute pictures. Chinese characters still retain their pictographic origins. Knowing what the characters look like originally can help remember them. I’ve spent about 100,000 hours studying English humor and Western culture, and many years studying Chinese culture and jokes. My native language is Chinese.
I really like the visual presentation of this lesson. It's so clear and attractive. And the content is so thorough. Maybe the only thing missing is how to ask "How often … ?". I think that 多常 cannot be used. For example: "How often do you eat fish?" probably cannot be: 你多常吃鱼? I think it should be: 你多久吃一次鱼? This is very different from the English. I don't know how it can be explained. Maybe it just takes getting used to.
because Chinese question words stay in the same place as the information you are asking about. For example: I eat fish once a week. 我一个星期吃一次鱼。 So the "how often..." question in Chiese can be: 你多久吃一次鱼? or 你一个星期吃几次鱼?
