However we do know that Leigh loveday intended current Donkey Kong to be Donkey Kong Junior and it has not been contradicted by any other sources and has only been enhanced. Specifically Donkey Kong jr. In Mario Kart tour is a variant of the current Donkey Kong

@@dylanmanf6427 that is incorrect. The writers for the Donkey Kong series had intended for the current Donkey Kong to be Donkey Kong jr. You don't have to have an immediate secession for a descendant to be junior. Plus you haven't seen the correct family tree

theres seems to be issues with some of these games... first off, the virtual boy is way too fast. second off, the N64 has LOADS of texture issues. and finally, why did you capture the 3ds like that? you could've just made the bottom screen bigger! we can barely see DK Jr on that microscopic screen.
They also used some weird version Super Mario Kart which looks like it was drawn with a painting software.

My theory to why DK Jr. hasn’t appeared in awhile is that he is trapped in an e reader card....don’t believe the commercial is on TH-cam

@@charlessugg6102 Ooh nice Charles Sugg as glad he works better at Ranked mode, I'm still hoping since around 2020 that the actual 3D model of Donkey Kong Junior as in Donkey Kong Jr is finally added to Mario Kart Tour, also hence the next new Bowser vs Donkey Kong Tour is arriving like Godzilla vs Kong xD and how I wish the new driver at Bowser vs Donkey Kong Tour is Donkey Kong Junior, a Kong driver, a new alt, or some one else to be added to Mario Kart Tour soon in the future!
@@NickFamzi I would agree with that, I love 16 bit DK Jr, but I would love a 3D variant of him. Yes I am so excited for Bowser vs Donkey Kong. Definitely my most anticipated team rally yet. I like the fact that regardless of the outcome, both teams get a badge, rubies, and coins. As far as characters go, personally while a new DK alt would be great, I would rather have another DK rep like Cranky Kong, King K Rool, heck even a 16 bit Donkey Kong (original DK) would be nice.

It'd be so cool if Nintendo reintroduced him in a new Donkey Kong game. Especially if they aged him up somewhere between DK and Cranky. If they redesigned him a little, they could even give him a new name like they did with Cranky. Like, if they had him wear a bowler hat and bow tie (monogrammed with a J, natch), they could call him Jaunty Kong. "DK's daddy used to go by DK Junior, but he hasn't been called that since DK was born."

@@enforcer2007 no he ain’t DK’s father! And you realize that in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Donkey Kong Jr, son to DK came to the rescue when Mario imprisoned his father. DK Jr.'s challenge was to collect the keys to Donkey Kong's cage, all the while dropping fruit on his enemies from high above. He was able to climb faster by using two ivy vines at once. This ape is also quite skilled at kart racing, tennis, and mathematics.

Orson Zedd everything I’ve heard about the topic in the last 5 years is that DK JR is the current DKs Dad. Everyone knows cranky is the original DK at this point, its also on the mario wiki. I think them both appearing in mario tennis on the n64 was weird. The creation of Diddy really put an end to the character regardless. Not counting mario kart tour which is a shit game imo lol i think the plan that RARE had for the kong and kong family should stick since the revived the series. Im not sure how Loveday is

Theory: DK in the Galleries and in Mario Tennis is classic DK aka Cranky. Clearly there's some difference in the way characters age in different Nintendo games. Maybe mushrooms from the Mushroom World stop aging, and that's why Mario and Co. don't age, and why the Kongs haven't aged in decades
Maybe DK Jr. got laid, then went and hid in the Mushroom World and stayed young, while DK Sr. stayed on DK island ??? I don't know, the Mario universe is a continuity error in of itself
Mario did actually age. He's 25 in the Original Donkey Kong Arcade, but is now 30, according to Paper Mario: Color Splash. (I know Paper Mario is from another universe, but it's actually identical to 3d mario. Everything that happened in Paper Mario also happened in 3d mario.)
