Shanks always thinks of great man that he once knew, and he wants the will of that great man to live on. Roger said that they were too early in obtaining One Piece. And the next generation will do what is needed. The dream of Shanks is to make the dream of his mentor, the man he admires, real. And he himself can't do it. He was born at the wrong time. He is like a ceremonial guard that gives the crown to the next king, not a prince that becomes the king himself.
This makes me wonder what role Blackbeard will play towards the end (would love to see a full video on him). Shanks specifically made inquiries to find out what he was up to, and from what we know so far Teach seems to be building his own devil fruit army by killing users and then gifting the powers to his own crew. Teach planned everything very carefully in regards to Whitebeard, so it does make me hopefull that he has another masterstroke in the works, possbly a third devil fruit?
The last time we know BB's massive plane (up till chapter 1081 at least) is that he wants to create his own kingdom that's acknowledged by WG, basically he wants a seat in the Reverie. Which admittedly, it's pretty scary
I've only just gotten to dressrosa, but what I'm hoping is that we get a huge showdown with blackbeard as the true climax of one piece, and then after that we get right to the cusp of the one piece for a final 1v1 of luffy vs shanks, and then an epilogue where luffy gives his hat to a new kid with big dreams to bring it all full circle
Minor disagreement: Luffy should be able to save Shanks once, as a way to show his growth (Shanks saved him in the prologue), and then Shanks can either retire or sacrifice himself later on
Unlikely you read this, but here I go anyway. Kid undoubtably had Big Moms and Kaidos poneglyph, so he needed the Zou one and the one previously on fishman island. Zou was in Wano when Shanks detered Green Bull with his Haki. Shanks should know from his travels with Roger that there is a road poneglyph on Zou and should probably also be friendly with the inhabitants of Zou, because of his ties to Roger and through that Oden. So I think he should either has all 4 or the same 3 road poneglyphs as Luffy if that makes sense.
I’m thinking they’ll start a friendly contest (maybe even a Davy Back Fight) but be interrupted by Black Beard and have a wild free for all. I don’t see Shanks living to the end of the series, so maybe he’ll die for Luffy just like Ace did, then Luffy can surpass him and defeat Black Beard. Or maybe it’ll be Akainu and the navy, or both
a final test? Well I have imaged Shansk and Luffy would clash and almost in a Davy Back fight. yet I was not thinking it was like a final test. Shansk motivations does greatly concern me, is he a good man pretedning to be evil or has he a hidden malice? But being a final tst, a man that wanted to inhert Gol D Rogers will but could not, yeah that does seem likely.
Shanks is great. Kaido is great. Big Mom is great. Yet not a single one of them could surpass Roger and even then not even Roger, the greatest to ever do it could surpass the darkness that looms over this world. He's seen what lies beyond the walls erected by Imu but he simply didn't have the means to carry himself over and defeat the worlds ruler. But Luffy has the chance. He has the set up he has the means and he has become great. But now it's time to see if he has what it takes. Not even Roger could do it. So can luffy surpass greatness and not only survive going beyond the worlds walls but overcome the one that sits on the otherside. Waiting to erase all that enter their territory. It's a beautiful sentiment. Expertly done again.

I bring this up in light of the thing that happened with six, and I offer this to who I consider to be on of the youtubers I watch most. I want to offer some encouragement and let you know that your analysis are just as insightful as you think they are- very insightful. Clearly, that is not at all the issue. If you take a moment to view a mr. Morj video, and then and Ohara one, you'll see why Mr. Morj has far fewer subscribers than Ohara despite his actual analysis usually being better - presentation. You probably know this already, but the way you package your message is just as important as the message itself. While I'm not a TH-camr myself, I present a good deal of research in my line of work. Not sure if you'll ever read this, but praying you find success and grow exponentially
