I understand his family not wanting to accept their father was responsible, I understand them living in denial because they don’t want to believe their father was a sexual deviant who harassed women constantly, but everyone else can see what truly happened and I feel bad for his family living in that much denial. It’s a horrible truth, to recognise their father was a deviant in this way, how he harassed women constantly, and that he chose to crash the plane on purpose after being told he was being fired. He was a selfish man who only thought of himself, he harassed women because he was selfish, he crashed the plane because he didn’t want to live in shame because he was selfish, and his crimes were covered up for a time because the airline were selfish. Just selfishness all around.
Indeed. A sex-pest and possibly a mass-murderer. However, people should try and be kind in their comments here because even if this is true, it is not their fault. It must be very difficult for them to live with the loss of their father and such allegations against him.
I think the family is vile, especially that nephew. He looks slimy too, and there’s something very annoying about him. It’s pretty obvious to anyone watching or who’s looked into this case it was suicide by pilot and murder-suicide, so being in denial in the face of this is very ridiculous, makes them look silly, and is also a bit of a slap in the face and egregious to the victims themselves (they’re dead so it doesn’t matter really) but the victim’s families. The level of delusional - especially that publicly maintained - is very irritating to me.
@@Uvray people should try and be kind to people maintaining a bald faced lie that even they know is probably ridiculous (because no one can surely be that delusional and ignorant and in denial?)? It’s pretty audacious, a slap in the face to the victim’s families and the victim’s memory, and insulting too. There’s no honour in that, and no respect is deserved. That nephew grinds my gears.
I hope the victims watch this show and develop their own truth to it and Batouti’s family come out of denial and claiming it as just an accident. It was never proven it was the sheared elevators.
First, the man oddly insisted strongly on changing his flight spot for no apparent reason - Second, for what possible reason would you EVER shut down ALL the engines while flying over the ocean at night, that guarantees the plane crashing into the ocean, then add the fact he refused to answer the other pilot or pull back on his control yoke - no this man had a death/revenge wish and didnt care if he took a plane full of innocent people with him because of his personal problems that he created himself - he was mentally unstable no matter how you try to dance around it.

I agree. If something was wrong with the plane than he should have told the captain when he was asked. He kept pushing the control yoke down instead of up.
I feel so disgusted by his family's and the Egyptian president's efforts to cover up for one man while disregarding the many lives lost because of one man's selfishness. The fact alone that he was eager to fly the plane alone should already be more than enough to convince anyone that he's planning to do something really bad.
Especially after take off 20 min later coming to chase first officer out would have been a clear sign something is off and the young first officer should have point blank said no...
He was never going to fly the plane. He was first officer, not the one flying at the time. The plane was in auto-pilot and he took control when the opportunity presented itself.

Only Egypt disputes this and despite that unnofficially Egyptair adopted the two person rule, if a pilot leaves the cockpit, a flight attendant must stay with the remaining pilot to make sure nothing happens. Same goes for Malaysian Airlines, despite in Malaysia it being still doubted that MH370 was flown into the ocean by the captain, they instated a two person rule shortly afterwards and after Germanwings not long ago the two person rule became a global standard. The reinforced doors help people keep out quite well since 9/11. But sometimes that's a problem when the pilot is locked out. But everyone except those involved have long accepted that both Egyptair 990 and MH370 were deliberate acts the relief FO and the Cpt. MH370 we still miss the wreckage to conclusively prove it but not Egyptair 990. Mass murder in both cases.
@@ysw8291Powering down of the engines leaves little doubt as to what happened here. This was a deliberate act. If a veteran airline pilot powered the engines down then forgot to power them back up that's tantamount to forgetting to open your mouth when you're eating.
Captain Taha's interview makes it crystal clear that Al Batuti intentionally crashed Egypt Air 990 and killed all on board. It's shocking when the airline EgyptAir itself revealed to all its employees that this wasn't an accident but the Egyptian investigators keep denying...
Yes it was not an accident but an offensive hostile action specially when you know who was on board. Don’t you know that the tail unit was destroyed by means of a missile and that is why the plane dived. To cover the dirty act they declared that the captain committed suicide. One of the black boxes was recovered but they claimed it fell from the robot’s handle and was destroyed although the resistance of this box is below nuclear explosion. Imagine these dirty lies against a dead man that can not defend himself. Go back to history and check different lies Saïd to explain dirty actions like the suicidal act of Marlene Monroe and the nuclear scientist professor Almashad or Nabaweya Mousa. I am really astonished that you enforce their dirty story.
Much respect for Captain El-Habashi, and First Officer Adel Anwar. For the First Officer for wanting to stand his ground and remain in his seat, and the Captain for his heroic efforts to try to save everyone.
Clear case? When FBI stops all mutual investigations just to shake Egyptian side of, then paying some guys to publicly talk bs about the First Officer?
The man put himself before every woman at the hotel, and put himself before anybody on that plane. A true scoundrel. Egypt wrote the narrative they wanted to hear and then desperately tried to manufacture circumstances which supported it.
@@Omer1996E.C not always there was a German airline where a pilot was left alone and crashed the plane by will. Plus it’s not hard to have a FA in the cockpit it’s a law now

The NTSB nailed it. I wonder if he was more embarrassed about explaining to his family why he was getting fired (for harassing women) of if he was just really set on killing the chief pilot. Either way, there was no reason to take everybody with him.
because he is a coward and only think about himself harassing women and being a sexual deviant also a coward I hope he is in hell burning forever cannot run nowhere if their is such a place
The NTSB stopped short of calling it suicide -- Probable Cause The National Transportation Safety Board determines that the probable cause of the EgyptAir flight 990 accident is the airplane's departure from normal cruise flight and subsequent impact with the Atlantic Ocean as a result of the relief first officer's flight control inputs. The reason for the relief first officerís actions was not determined.

I agree - few managers have insight into the employee psyche and internal workings of the people that they are supposed to "manage". The term "manager" is a much maligned term. It should rather be but licking sociopaths who does not care about anyone but themselves. A true leader will never be called a "manager".
A red flag should've went up to the Captain when the relief 1st Officer forced himself prematurely into Adel's Amour's shift. Also, the Captain should not have allowed that handover nor should he have left the cockpit with El Batouty alone before his shift officially started. The pilots were too laxed.
You are correct if they had the USDOT Federal Aviation Administration two persons in cockpit rule what will happen is that the relief Captain would have been with El Batouty and then return to the seat with the actual captain being back on the seat.
I think this accident happened before the implementation of the two person cockpit rule. That rule came in around 2016 after Andreas lubitz flew the A320 into the alps on purpose.
It's crazy that until a few years ago, I was beyond terrified to fly and would have terrible panic attacks during the entire flight. And that's after taking Xanax and lots of vodka!!! After tons of prayer and research, I'm not longer afraid. Now I'm obsessed with these videos!!
I can understand, it must be really hard to believe your father committed suicide and brought hundreds of people with him.But they need to face the truth, so they can be in peace with their father.
its honestly more of a mass murdery and suicide, he could have hanged himself but he intentionally chose to bring a few hundred of people with him which would make it even more difficult on the family.
As an experienced pilot, it is plain to me that Batouti obviously did it: 1) No flying pilot is going to say NOTHING when the Captain returns and asks him what is going wrong. Impossible. 2) It is beyond "coincidence" that a modern airliner in straight-and-level AUTOPILOT flight over the ocean SUDDENLY develops an aberrant control motion only WHILE THE OTHER 2 CREW-MEMBERS ARE OUT OF THE COCKPIT. Not believable. 3) No flying pilot will ignore such a sudden "control malfunction" for 15 seconds before taking any action whatsoever. Impossible. 4) No working professional pilot, ever, has volunteered (with unusual eagerness and forcefulness) to "take over" the 1st shift only 20 minutes into the flight. Impossible. We all know what a rest cycle is and what it is there for. What a despicable excuse for a man to take all those other people with him.
Because Egypt usually chooses to blame the equipment. It’s much more likely the NTSB is right. Sadly, the disagreements prevented measures that could’ve been in place to prevent other pilot suicides like Germanwings Flight 9525.
Egypt had a culture of such reverence for pilots, likely from the Arab-Israeli wars, that they couldn't bring themselves to say a pilot had deliberately crashed a plane.
Undoubtedly they were afraid that everyone would be afraid to trust Egyptian pilots after that if they admitted it. But if the company had acknowledged its error in letting him fly after being fired, that would have prevented that outcome.
For anyone to say Egyptians or Muslims never commit suicide is ridiculous! We are all human, regardless of anything else. We are all the same; we all have the same emotions from time to time.
Suicide is sin in islam but suicide for killing others for allah is a virtue. Bloody bastards. And Allah offers gifts in the heaven for ''supporting muslims even if they have committed wrong things ''. This bastard religion must be wiped out from the surface of earth.
Makes it easier if you take a bunch of people with you as you die. The same reason royalty used to kill all their servants and have them buried with them; to feel important.
The reason why Egypt is in denial that he purposely crashed the jet, goes back to the old saying. Sometimes the truth hurts. And sometimes people deny the truth, because it hurts.
The real reason was something way older, money. Admitting it was murder would have made EgyptAir fully liable. So they tried to put the blame on boeing.
If the decision had been made that this was his last flight to America, why even let him be in a position to control the aircraft ??? Why would he have been allowed to be on the flight at all???
Unrecoverable situation. Engines off in a dive over the ocean at night. He didn't lock the door because there was no need. It's a miracle thw captain made it back in. It's unfortunate he was beginning to realise it was deliberate. Instead of fighting the airliner he should fought the FO, then control could have been regained but likely too late to restart any engines so either way it would have been an ocean ditching at night. Extremely unlikely to be succesful.

After you tell someone they are fired or going to be, you take away all their ability to retaliate. The Captain’s best chance in this situation would have been a chokehold. In addition, pilots now carry weapons. Egypt Air screwed up big time.
He should have not been allowed to board the plane with that info. Wait until he was back home, have HR fire him, demand any passes etc or keys and return his unform. You dont tell a person they are going to be fired b4 they board a plane for duty.
At 43:57, it seems he is projecting saying it is a cover up. I don't know what I would do is this situation if it was my relative. However, I feel the NTSB has a track record of reporting causes no matter if it makes Boeing, Airbus, etc look bad. It doesn't make sense why the NTSB would highlight shortcomings (in airplane design, pilot training, poor maintenance ) for so many accidents and try to cover it up for 1 exception. The Egyptian government refusing to turn over info on the pilots background is more indicative of a cover up to me.
Pride is a hell of a thing. What the nephew said explains it all "IT was a simple plane crash" but then follows it up with "Its a cover up" if they are covering something up then it isnt a simple plane crash. They just dont want to admit that a man that was held up on the highest pedestal would do such a horrible thing. That he wouldnt just unalive himself, but take hundreds of other people with him to avoid the consequences of his actions.
Regardless of ANY crew’s title, experience, age….no single person should remain inside the passenger’s Aircraft cockpit by him/her self under any circumstances!!! The life of hundreds of passengers on board cannot be left under one person’s control. I hope the Egypt Air cockpit’s regulations is changed or amended after that preventable tragedy.
As soon as I saw the captain leave the cockpit, I thought the very same thing. There is too much that can happen just in a few minutes, and no pilot should ever bee by them self.
How can they possibly deny, all to protect image and reputation of one person, what that co-pilot did, both preceding and during the flight? It’s so clear to everyone else what this scenario was. I know suicide is huge sin in their culture, but to deny and try to drive the investigation away from the truth is wrong. So many lives lost, but they’re all out to protect the reputation of one. Disgraceful in my opinion.
Because in Egypt they hold their pilots as gods basically they’ll never blame them for anything. Especially if they were air force Each president of Egypt has been a pilot
@@freyafoxmusic yeah, I gathered that. It’s just crazy to me. When one person is responsible for the loss of so many innocent lives, because their personal life was going through a bad patch, they should just hold up their hands and admit the truth. He did not behave how Captains should be, he wanted to fly so bad, he crashed the flight intentionally... my heart goes out to the captain who did his beat
The nephews total denial of his uncles obvious suicidal mission is totally irrelevant. He had no inside expert knowledge of the thorough and professional findings by the NTSB - only a loyal belief in his uncles innocence and that counts for nothing.
I disagree with Al-Batouti's nephew. It is not unusual for someone who is suicidal to act perfectly normally. Families are often in shock because they had no idea that their loved one was even depressed, let alone wanting to take their own life. Sadly, I've known seven people who committed suicide - all men, mostly under 35yrs old - and in only one case was the family aware that there was a risk. One of those young men was on holiday with a group of friends, larking around on the beach just like all the others. He excused himself and went back to his hotel and ended his life.
Whenever I seek answers to difficult questions, I ALWAYS look to history for answers. There was one eerily similar case that occurred 50-years ago in the ex-Soviet Union that strongly resembled this one. The case revolved around a Russian man who was the most prolific and sadistic mass murderer in Soviet history, killing a hundred boys and girls in the most grisly ways imaginable. The reason they never pursued him was because the Soviet government refused to believe that a Russian citizen could commit such heinous crimes, believing that only "sick and twisted Americans" were capable of such senseless violence. So they stonewalled the entire investigation, allowing him to kill virtually at will for years and years. Many dozens of innocent children could have easily been saved, but in their abject denial, the murders continued without interruption. That is nearly the identical circumstance here, where an entire government refused to believe that one of their own could have killed himself and others intentionally. Try explaining that concept to the hundreds of terrorists who commit suicide on a regular basis, taking out hundreds of innocent bystanders in the process. This was clearly an Egyptian coverup with absolutely no mitigating evidence to the contrary. P.S. Btw, the name of the movie I just mentioned is "Citizen X," available everywhere. Starring Donald Sutherland (who won the Emmy for his performance) and a superb Stephen Rea("V for Vendetta"), and Max Von Sydow ("The Exorcist") this is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is one of the most engrossing and riveting American films in years. WATCH IT.
His name was Chikatilo I think, I am sure I misspelled it. I watched a documentary about him as well. He was broken due to consistent mental and biogical trauma, never got reprimanded, continued killing and then when trialed family members of the deceased tried to kill him. Citizens stood up for the family members as well.
@ioannageor180 you got it right - Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo. The butcher of Rostov. Nastiest, most despicable, evil piece of filth to ever walk upright. The movie is amazing, but not for the faint of heart.
@@ioannageor180 Yes, Andrei Chikatilo. Of all the murdering monsters I've ever heard of, he rates way up there. But even worse than his crimes, the way the Soviets let him go was the biggest crime of all. It's called, "Denial."
Nit-picking a small part of the video - the VSI (vertical speed indicator) would never spin around and around like that. The altimeter would, but the VSI would just peg at its max indication and stay there.
If there was an issue with a hardover stabilizer, the plane would have not began to gain altitude after falling it would've gone straight into the ocean.
If only his bosses didn’t told him that this will be his last flight ✈️. They should have waited till he get back to Egypt 🇪🇬 and deal with it there that way he wouldn’t feel ashamed and commit this outrageous crime
According to the documentary, superiors in N.Y. told him prior to this flight, that he would not return to the USA. I’ve a feeling that the co-pilot realized that upon return to Egypt he’d be terminated and disgraced, so he suicided out, knowing that Egyptian officials along with his families, would shamelessly reject the suicide theory. Hindsight being perfect, this likely would not have happened if the co-pilot had not been informed that they were on to his behaviors until after they returned to Egypt.
If only Gameel kept his pecker in his pants. He deserved to be sacked. What's even more surprising is that this wasn't his first offense. Egypt Air should have held him accountable from day 1.
Absolutely disgusting how this can happen. I think tensions went up when the First Officer was told that it would be his final flight to the United States Of America that he wanted some sort of revenge on the airline so he decided it would be the perfect time to take revenge on the airline when the captain left to go to the bathroom. I think also it didn't help that he never got promoted to captain which would have made the First Officer more upset which also corelates to why he wanted to take revenge on the airline and all passengers and crew on board.
How can a professor from George Town not interpret that properly, as a native arabic speaker, we also say it when faced with a difficult choice, imagine being at a the top of a scary ride and have to decide if you want to go ahead, you hype yourself up n keep saying it, in this contest it means I’ve made my choice, the rest isn’t up to me. Listening to the audio alone tells you everything you need to know. How an entire country rallied behind a murderous pervert is beyond me. RIP to all that lost their lives
i don’t speak arabic, but even with what he said and his translation, that doesn’t mean it refutes he was meaning to crash the plane and it wasn’t intentional. He can still be saying it ‘positively’. Like, I put my faith in god - as in hopefully he will look kindly on me and understand or something. So I found what he said bizarre - he was trying to implicitly defend the murderer.
‘i put my faith/trust in god’ or whatever the phrase means (not an arabic speaker) could just mean in any context that he hopes god will forgive him and understand or look kindly on him. It doesn’t mean that he didn’t intent on crashing the plane or that he wasn’t trying to, so I don’t understand. Just because it has a positive meaning means nothing. It’s just like saying ‘god bless’. I could say god bless before doing something evil to try to absolve myself in the eyes or god or something (i’m not religious so i’m just conjecturing but yeah).
@@oliverwortley3822 i agree, it’ nuanced, but in the context of what was happening it doesn’t sound right. If he thought they were crashing, he’d have used other “blessings” appropriate for the situation, it’s not conclusive evidence, put together with other evidence, it makes more sense
@@ZX-mg5xs I agree with you largely, especially what you said about the professor. What he said made no sense, even without the added context of knowing arabic and the phrase he apparently translated.
When I worked in the airline, in situations where one of the pilots had to step out of the cockpit - a flight attendant had to go there. A pilot was never allowed to be in a cockpit by himself.
If they had waited until he got home to fire him, this wouldn’t have become such a tragedy. But we all have 100% hindsight, don’t we? So sad. In addition to my sympathies to the victims and their families and friends, I have sympathy for the families and friends of this man. I can’t imagine going through this.
He may have known it was coming before they made it official. What you need to do is suspend with pay if there is an investigation but the culture was too much of one of blind respect for these pilots to do so. If he had been cleared he could've returned to work, no harm done. There was a similar one with a German pilot who also suicided with a plane of passengers. He thought his failing eyesight would cost him his job and he had been treated for mental illness. The medical privacy laws in Germany foolishly blocked doctors from notifying the airline. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germanwings_Flight_9525
I posted a similar reply on one of the threads. If they had wanted to be kind to his family, they could simply have offered him early retirement on some agreed medical grounds. When someone becomes incompetent, but has not committed a serious crime, agreed early retirement is not uncommon here in the UK. This guy certainly ticked all the boxes. Effectively firing the guy a few hours before he was due to fly across the Atlantic, was the most ridiculous thing that I have heard in years.

In all the airplane disaster shows I have watched, the NTSB has always held the manufacturers of all planes accountable for any design defects and/or flaws. Corruption is not in any way shape or form happening in the NTSB. Corruption does exist in the USA, but not within the NTSB.
I think it’s exactly as how they described it. Batouty wanted revenge and it was going to be his last flight, it would be Rashputi’s also! (Sorry if I got the names wrong)

the brother’s analogy and argument is rediculous…this is an airliner filled with passengers following procedures and protocols, not a car driven by friends on a highway. The passengers families are fully justified in suing the airlines.
If it hadn't happened in American airspace we'd never know the truth as the Egyptians would've hushed it up, like they have done with previous crashes.

Captain El-Habashi had been with Egypt Air for 36 years and had been flying for even longer than that, and despite being 57 years old, with the aircraft at an extremely unusual attitude pulling negative g’s, managed to get back to the cockpit and into his seat. He put everything he had into the fight to save his plane and his passengers, even after undoubtedly learning that the man beside him who was supposed to be helping him, was actually trying to bring the plane down.
All the more tragic that Egypt Air and Egyptian government, in its effort to save face for a murderous Al-Batouti, never fully recognized the truly heroic efforts of Captain El-Habashi.

but all the rest of the crew were just sitting there praying? what type of the mentality is that?

As an experienced pilot, it is plain to me that Batouti obviously did it:
1) No flying pilot is going to say NOTHING when the Captain returns and asks him what is going wrong.

Actually that one could have been prevented if the did look into the African siical guy
Egypt had a culture of such reverence for pilots, likely from the Arab-Israeli wars, that they couldn't bring themselves to say a pilot had deliberately crashed a plane.

Wow… one of the most terrifying flights ever

Did you believe that faa interpret the way they went Boeing 737 max Ethiopian crash and Indonesian crash the said it was plots error all the time
How can a professor from George Town not interpret that properly, as a native arabic speaker, we also say it when faced with a difficult choice, imagine being at a the top of a scary ride and have to decide if you want to go ahead, you hype yourself up n keep saying it, in this contest it means I’ve made my choice, the rest isn’t up to me.
What he said made no sense, even without the added context of knowing arabic and the phrase he apparently translated.
like usual crazy emotional moslems
the emotions control logic.
When I worked in the airline, in situations where one of the pilots had to step out of the cockpit - a flight attendant had to go there. A pilot was never allowed to be in a cockpit by himself.
this crash may have prompted that rule.
But I wonder what could a flight attendant do if a pilot chooses to do something drastic?
@@GoGreen1977 Very good point. But I guess - better to have one in there than not to have one.
Yo this is the narrator from “I ALMOST GOT AWAY WITH IT”😂One of my fav show because of him
ALL: "Let's investigate the case'
Egypt: "DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. YOU WORRY TOO MUCH"
If they had waited until he got home to fire him, this wouldn’t have become such a tragedy. But we all have 100% hindsight, don’t we? So sad. In addition to my sympathies to the victims and their families and friends, I have sympathy for the families and friends of this man. I can’t imagine going through this.
I'm sure you are the only sympathetc soul
He may have known it was coming before they made it official. What you need to do is suspend with pay if there is an investigation but the culture was too much of one of blind respect for these pilots to do so. If he had been cleared he could've returned to work, no harm done.
There was a similar one with a German pilot who also suicided with a plane of passengers. He thought his failing eyesight would cost him his job and he had been treated for mental illness. The medical privacy laws in Germany foolishly blocked doctors from notifying the airline.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germanwings_Flight_9525
@@LastAvailableAlias I did see something on tv about that case. Think it was Air Disasters”. Very disturbing.
Check Al-Jazeera documentary is was a mechanical failure, its not the co-pilot
These video's are so addictive and I can't stop watching, despite being terrified of flying
Addictive because you feel you learn human nature in its extreme. At the end of the day it’s necessary to understand human nature of all nature.
I watch these on my tablet WHILE flying.
it unfortunate sadness to family members who lost love ones ...but it pilot who causes the casualties..why he insisted to fly the plane
what does watching these videos in the comfort of your home all safe and sound have to do with being terrified of flying?
@@cuckoonut1208 I used to watch a lot of these air crash investigation shows I was addicted to them , but after I developed a big fear of flying due to the shows that I didn't have before I am ok now though.
Unbelievable! My heart goes out to the families 😔🙏❤️
02152 is not a Boston Zip Code
It’s winthrop.
People love saying they’re from Boston when they live in the burbs
In all the airplane disaster shows I have watched, the NTSB has always held the manufacturers of all planes accountable for any design defects and/or flaws. Corruption is not in any way shape or form happening in the NTSB. Corruption does exist in the USA, but not within the NTSB.
I would agree that there is no corruption in the NTSB. The FAA on the other hand, is rife with corruption.
RiP to all those poor souls minus the murderer.
I think it’s exactly as how they described it. Batouty wanted revenge and it was going to be his last flight, it would be Rashputi’s also! (Sorry if I got the names wrong)
100 percent intentional. Why would he shut the engines down?
The captain almost saved the day he died a hero
He could've saved the plane if he had figure out the copilot was intentionaly trying to crash the plane.
They all left the old man in the cockpit by himself to go relax?? their mistake as well
*I really love watching this type of documentary*
RIP every innocent soul on board. What a mental case flying for 36 years then taking a plane down full of passengers.
Mental fool walking ego. Unconscious that president of Egypt medicine was off to to bad he wasn't flying with his little buddy.
A coward in life and a coward in death taking others with him.
Fr
Another religious nutcase, unbelievably selfish
Aww that is so sad! My prayers are with the families of the passengers on this airplane!
How the pilot made it back to the cockpit? " I will never know:
Me : Easy: the passengers desperately helped him get to the cockpit. He road a human wave to the cockpit.
I salute those passengers and pilot
Too bad it was in vain. The madman FO crashed them anyway
Its a pity the other pilot the one who was annoyed he was relieved didn't get back to the cockpit as well to punch the suicidal guys lights out.
You actually believe this????
How were the other passengers able to stabilize themselves to help Habashi, the Capt, human wave him into the cockpit, when the aircraft was in a steep dive, pulling negative Gs, you'd be stuck to the ceiling if you weren't buckled in your seat.
You know we would Usually be happy over a full episode but the backstory of the actual flight is kinda dark
the brother’s analogy and argument is rediculous…this is an airliner filled with passengers following procedures and protocols, not a car driven by friends on a highway. The passengers families are fully justified in suing the airlines.
Atrocious analogy
That dude is in alot of denial, so any explanation he can come up with will be satisfying for him.
Of course his family won't admit his responsibility, but why won't the Egyptian government admit it? How does it benefit them?
As far as I am aware Egypt Air was, and still is, government owned. The government of Egypt would ultimately be held liable.
@@keithmartin1328 And they don't want their religion, reputation, and peoples accused of doing something so dispicable. And their cowards too.
If it hadn't happened in American airspace we'd never know the truth as the Egyptians would've hushed it up, like they have done with previous crashes.
So he was an old pervert that got rejected by women and decided to take everyone with him cos he was found out and let go from his job. What a selfish POS 😒
If there's a cameraman filming onboard your flight, you know you're finished.
lol
Right, you're finished but the cameraman always survives. Life can be so unfair!
That man didn't die with honor as his son said, and he absolutely did not live with honor. What a belligerent dirtbag. Egypt Air sadly got what they deserve by allowing the bad behavior, unfortunately the innocent people didn't deserve what they got.
This is such a sad, F*cked up event that didn’t need to happen. There were several good military personnel on board. Not to mention the retired couple that just wanted to finally travel. So many lives were lost all due to one persons selfishness. Just a sad situation.
All happen because co pilot exposes his birthday suit in front of some girls on the window, and harassing a hotel maid. Because of his actions, he was lectured by his bosses that flight 990 will be his last flight and he'll be retired
What a useless human.
The man was totally unstable and had no right to be sitting in the cockpit of a passenger aircraft. The airline was far too tolerant and wished to protect its own reputation. They should have got him out long before. Do you wish to be flown, along with your family, by a pilot who never made the grade to become a captain and in addition was mentally unstable ?
@@jamesgraham6122 exactly...someone who cant control their s*xuality is not mentally stable....unfortunately there r a lot of pilots acting foolishly like that believe me
He was not being retired only barred from flying to american soil as an employee.
Denial doesn’t change the real things in this world. Diverting attention, blaming others and grasping at straws shows weakness and real lack of character. I guess I just do not understand some of the Egyptian culture.
After German Air. Theirs always a Flight Attendant with a pilot. Condolences to the families and friends. All rip. We New Yorkers will never forget. Amen 🙏.
Bro my heart broke when i heard about the person tho who switched their shift to get home Intime for his wedding. They just wanted to get home in time to declare his love to the women of his life and ended up loosing his chance at a future with her or the family they would have made 😢
On another video, i keep getting harassed by Egyptians for daring to tell them that the evidence is irrefutable that Al purposely crashed the plane. No mechanical failure could've caused what happened
Rass 'em back!
The Germanwings pilot and that whole incident...imagine being the F/O trying to get back to flight deck.
He took it off autopilot without justification. Unfortunately he caused the accident. God bless the victims
May Allah put the ones responsible including the ones that covered this up in the deepest of hells
I cannot even imagine what passengers felt when falling all the way from 30,000 feet or more....this sico should not have been allowed to fly the plane
Never leave one pilots alone
London Aviation
There can hardly ever be a more serious and reprehensible crime; there can hardly ever be a credible excuse!
End of video says,
"it will forever be a painful mystery"
I say, "painful yes, mystery no"
That's pure stupidity and sick. Love aviation but that guy was evil.
1st officer knew that old coot was up to something.
Then the plane began its fatal descent, losing its left engine before crashing into the ocean. All those on board-203 passengers and 14 crew members-were killed.
He was abusive to women and it isn't surprising that he would treat his passengers and fellow crew with no empathy either.
This event is so upsetting that I can't even rewatch it. It is so much worse than an accident, even a negligent one.
Well, having 33 newly trained military officers onboard on this flight may explain why it shouldn’t have arrived. 3:41
This was absolutely intentional. Prematurely switching places with Anwar and waiting for El-Habashi to leave the cockpit to disengage the autopilot and shut the engines off was no doubt his responsibility for all those casualties. Al-Batouti has a special place in hell reserved for him.
Love these documentaries.
The flight simulator was shown that this pilot did the same thing several times to make sure he knew how to crash this plane he was embarrassed that he was to be fired, the error was you never tell a pilot this is your last flight he should have fired him right there why wait a day he kill all these people and his friends and family are to ashamed and they should be there father is a disgrace and disgusted human he never give a thought about anyone other than himself he dishonor his whole family and country,
Guys, Black Box Down has an episode on this crash, and they have a lot of information that this show leaves out
41:08 "Egyptians don't commit suicide"
Mohammed Atta: "watch this"
