- Video 4 of 5 of a chase of NBSR Train 121 from Grand Bay to Vespra, NB

Milepost 47 on the NBSR McAdam Subdivision.
Filmed on April 17, 2024.
NBSR 121 originates out of Saint John, NB's Ponderosa Yard and terminates at Brownville JCT, ME
You, Sir, are a liar. This "Train" was NOT forced into emergency. The bears, as any sensible animal, except humans, got off the tracks.
Любое да не любое, я видел как козлика разорвало на куски в Индии, а поезд долго сигналил!
@@Sergus28goats r stupid tho 😂
Just a normal day in New Brunswick, you never know what will pop out of the woods. Hope the car stopped in time.
All was well, all 4 bears made it across the road safely
Virtual rail fan has a camera in New Brunswick that captures bears occasionally. Usually at night, they’ll cross the tracks and a 4 lane highway then they’re in someone’s yard. Personally, I wouldn’t be comfortable living around bears, mountain lions, buffalo, alligators or pythons.
I couldn't bear to see those lovely animals run over 🤣and they weren't Great video and I liked the cloud formations in the background too Thanks for uploading and greetings from UK 😊
The bear missed the train and now he's walking
Great footage! I've never seen something like this before.
This would have been a case of 3 dead bears.
Beware of train bears❤
Great video! Subscribed! I just found you with this one coming on my feed on TH-cam.
Grrrrrr bear capture. Love the zoom action!
Nice video
The locomotives were sequencential numbers! Cool
The best 🎉FOREVER and thank you sir
Mamma Bear 🐻 needs to become more safety-conscious when crossing a railroad before she teaches it to her cubs. For instance: don't stand on the track and look at the train 🙄
I bet the car driver at1:02got a 😮 as well
It's a good job there was a lady with a push-chair there to tell them to behave themselves...
Yep, Yogi and Bobo are smart enough not to stop on the Tracks
that family of bears were cooken
Oh.. and right in a gradient too
RIP bears. The train didn't hit them but then they ran into the street right in the path of an oncoming car.
They all made it across the tracks and highway.
this is the way home , come on children ...
CUTE !!!!
Why ?
Just subscribed to yo yo
You never know do you 😮😅
What the hell was that thing bouncing on the left as the train passed!?
Must have wanted to go to McDonald's that's what I did in st. Louis
Ridiculous they will move or be bear meat
more than just a bit concerned about the woman taking a walk along the path , she could have been bear food
in India, the engineer would have slammed the throttle full tilt forward.
That's not cool
@@Michael-eu1mz all you have to do to see it is look on the internet. You will find it.
I doubt that.
@@stargazer_100 search the web and you will find trains in India hitting animals at full throttle. You can even find trains hitting moose, deer, and other animals in Montana, Idaho, and Eastern Washington. I am prohibited from leaving a link here, but you can search, and you will find them.
That’s just Yogi Bear and friends looking for some picnic baskets in the woods.😮
the bears didnt make them go into emergency lol they just had to stop there for something.
No, it was because of the bears
@@MonstersAlongTheRails2 train wasn't in emergency though, on a grade like that at that speed the train would have stopped way before that.
@DESO718 Exactly. If they dumped the air when they saw the bares she would have stopped way sooner than that even without the grade.
God Bless You for saving the Bears !! 🙏🙏🙏
I scrolled through 2 minutes of video and only watched the 15-30 seconds of excitement just so i can tell you exactly what actually happened even though you were there for it, probably with a radio, because I, as a TH-cam armchair engineer know way more about that area from your video clip than you could possibly know yourself! So there!
In all seriousness, very neat catch and wow, what a nice-looking power set on NBSR 121! Thanks for sharing!
And good thing the person walking by was a good distance away from mama bear.
What's the scariest in this is the woman pushing her child, what if she was a minute or 2 later and mama bear with cubs seen her?
She would very likely still have been perfectly fine. She was on the other side of the tracks from the bears in an open area, so she almost certainly would not have unwittingly stepped between a mother bear and her cubs as someone on a trail with more dense trees and foliage might. The only way that the sow's defensive instincts would likely be triggered otherwise was if the woman intentionally did something boneheaded that was perceived as a threat to her cubs, like running to pet them or picking one up to introduce to her own baby.
That could have been very dangerous. The Mother bear would be extremely defensive with those cubs. If she felt there was a threat, she would neutralize it.
@@WT-Sherman You don't seem to understand what "defensive" means. If the mother bear felt that the walker was a threat, she simply wouldn't have gone near her -- the bears would have just gone back into the woods until the threat passed. Things get dangerous when bears encounter people by surprise.
@@beeble2003
My point is that a mother bear with cubs will do whatever is necessary to neutralize a threat.
Sometimes that involves an attack. It is a very unpredictable and dangerous scenario. A bear without cubs most likely avoids the human. The cubs change everything. I lived in Alaska for 20 years. I have seen this firsthand.
lol but they will run right in front of a faster car
My home province
Very nice. I wish I lived amongst such natural beauty.
Hot take: the titular monster is neither the bears, nor the train. It’s man himself.
How's the 8th grade going?
Another breaking it friend 🔝🚂🫶🏼🫡🫵🏼
They probably just stopped to use the bench for lunch
Great video! Good looking power on that train!
*WHAT PERCENT grade was that??? Seems kind of stupid to stop on such a steep grade???*
Zoom lenses always make gradients look steeper than they are.
@@beeble2003 *Still, looks like a slight grade to me?*
@@JungleYT Yes, there's definitely an uphill grade coming towards the camera. It's just hard to tell how steep it is. Probably not very steel as, if such a short gradient were steep, they'd have dug a cutting to ease it.
