I used to work there, it's so fast paced that at least 500 to 900 dollar in damages every night. Anything they can save gets repackaged or re stacked then shipped out. I said that while working there no wonder it's flat all the time.

As an Amazon delivery driver I can confirm that some home power lines are extremely low. You can usually spot it but during the fall and winter when it gets dark super early things can happen.
They should have a minimum height clearance. That way nobody has to worry about it that drives a big truck. You would think as a homeowner. You would make sure of that, just so you didn't lose power or whatever the lines were running.
@@jdhappy7663 Or do what other countries do and have the power lines underground so they can't be damaged so easily by falling trees or reckless drivers.
Even if they have a minimum height, a car could still so easily hit one of the poles and take down the power line anyway.
That wasn’t their power line. It was a phone or CATV line.

Videos of delivery drivers throwing packages around really makes me see red. It's not funny, it's pathetic. If they can't be arsed to do their jobs properly, they should just quit so someone who'll be grateful for the work can do it - someone who will take some pride in it. I know most delivery drivers do their jobs professionally (I did it myself for years, it's a good job) but those shown here have no business being in that line of work. Do it properly or don't do it at all. People paid good money for those packages, so proper care and respect should be shown with every single one of them.

I've seen the car wash one probably 100+ and laugh every single time. The package ones are why I have items delivered to a business address! Boxes dumped in the rain, out in the yard, crushed... and my blue-collar work involving equipment, there is NO 'horseplay'. There used to be, and it was fun and all, until we had a death. That one was purely momentary carelessness and wasn't from fooling around, but it put the fear of God into everyone at the time, and even after 10+ years nobody fools around.
Enough people remember it to create a work environment where we don't need OSHA to tell us to behave safely, and I've seen co-workers call out the kids for trying anything at all, and it stops instantly. Done it myself.

Two I wish I had footage of were one where there was a spill and the crew didn't block off the lane; I came around on a forklift not realizing they'd covered the aisle in detergent. That was exciting.

The other was a now-retired supervisor who somehow, we never did figure out how, got the rack of a stand-up trapped in the racking 25 feet in the air. Wedged it right in there. Took me, on a picker, to direct another guy on the stand-up 20 minutes to get it out! Moving it up, down, right, left, forward, back, tilted and again, fractions of an inch at a time, to extricate it. Couldn't believe it.
Still have no idea how they did it.
