Nothing wrong with a tqctical looking bunker.
Life hack, painters tape over the flashlight lens to protect it while target shooting with high round counts. The lens tends to get carbon buildup, Especially on the G17 with the light that extends past The barrel. Easier to peel off the tape than scrub the lens clean 👌
A little oil on the lens also makes it easier to wipe off any carbon build up

Why do people use those optic thingies? They look ugly and bulky. I use factory Glock sights and they work great. The only modification I have is a Dpm systems recoil reduction spring.

4 years later, G19.5 is still one of the best EDC pistols, and will likely be in another 4 years.
I have nearly the same setup and I absolutely love it. My only change is that I went with a C&H Precision MOS adaptor plate. It’s superior in every was to the stock MOS plate. Give it a look and I think you’ll switch over also. Thanks the the great video.
Does that Plate allow the rmr to sit slightly lower ?
Same GEN 5 MOS rig for EDC with the RM2, the tall trijicon green dot suppressor sights , a XC2A-IRC light and 147gr Speer GDHP's ........ A very comfortable , reliable setup. For "my needs" ......
I’m a 40 guy myself. I just bought a gen 5 Glock 22 MOS. I plan to do all that to it. Red dot and light.
Just grabbed this as my second ever conceal carry weapon. I’ve had my shield m2.0 for 3 years and finally felt the need to upgrade. It’s served me well and has never failed me. I hope the Glock treats me well and is reliable as they claim to be

Gunhack: For co-witnessing your laser target, set the target on a wall opposite a mirror. Stand next to the target and aim through the mirror at your target. Doubles your indoor distance.
Don’t forget the plastic cap for dry firing, unless you like broken mirrors 😏

I've tried the Red-Dot thing and I'm not a fan on a ccw pistol. But, to each their own. I'm old School Iron sights...I should be picking up my new G19 gen 5 very soon. I might change out the Sights but will keep everything else Stock Glock

Perfect piece. The 19 is the perfect compromise for a carry gun. 26 offers no benefit, 17 too long.

I bought my 19 around Christmas and basically fantasized about getting all the things you put on yours. Im finally pretty happy with the setup I have although I have a 507c v2 and an Apex trigger.
Holosun is a great option. I stick to stock on trigger, trl7 light
Use red locktite use heat to remove. Blue locktite has never let me down. I shoot 3 gun, shoot daily, never had a failure with blue locktite, also never used heat to release torque on any of the fasteners. Just a thought. Red isn't wrong, just unnecessary.
I use all loctite colors for work and rc cars, I don’t think I’d rub oil in the threads like that, but the oil in between surfaces is a cool idea

I’ve been carrying the same set up for the last 18 months. Only diff is I went trijicon suppressor sights and use a @werkz holster. Perfect set up.

Noticed when you were at the range, the empty shell casings were not coming back at you, as I have experienced this with my Glock 19 G5 , which have read about this, so I am wondering if these are hitting the optic frame and if it does, how this will affect the optic long term. Let me know your experience on this as i am currently looking on installing a red dot on my G19. Thanks.
Torque screwdriver set to 15 inch pounds tightens the optic screws to spec

I picked up a Glock 49 and added the holosun scs and tlr7x this weekend. Kept the factory glock sights. I can wait to take it to the range to zero the optic and shoot it. Great video.

I am a veteran and recently got into guns I’ve always loved them but I picked up some habits after deployment but I’m going on 6 years clean. I personally carry one of two stock glock 19 gen 3 or a Canik tp9 elite sc w/ sig sauer Romeo zero micro red dot which has to be my favorite but as far as holster options I carry my Glock the most.

I have a medium-sized hand, so I love the small-size grip but I also want the beaver tail. My solution is to add the beaver tail but cut the bottom part off.

Glock 48 is the BEST every day carry honestly. I love having a red dot but IMO it adds weight for no reason. If you need to use ur firearm for protection chances are it’s nearly arms length. I run the red dots on range weapons OR if I’m going into a very very bad neighborhood

Last month picked up the Glock 19 MOS Gen 5 with night sights. I added the Holsun 507c with TLRS 6 using nothing, but Underwood Ammo! Which I use on all my weapons….

Purple Loctite should be more than enough. This type of Loctite can secure fasteners up to 1/4".
I’m thinking about doing the same thing, I’ve heard I should go with a slide mill but i love how the Glock 19 MOS is already set up. I’ve heard the pros and cons but what’s your thoughts as of today with the MOS. Do you regret getting the MOS vs a Milled slide?
Trijicon has their own adaptor to deal with the wobbling issue if that's what you mean. A good mill job will cost an extra 3-400 bucks to get that rmr super close
I have a few "Gucci" Glocks that were milled, but my two carry guns are both stock MOS Glocks. One is a Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS the other is a Glick 45 MOS. I'm running the C&H Precision RMR plate on both. I would highly recommend you get the C&H plate or the plate from Forward Control instead of the stock plates from Glock.
Garrett Dunyon whats your thoughts on the mos Glocks with c&h plate vs a mill? I really want a plate system and to not be married to a red dot, but at the same time I don’t want a bad optic plate system. Any insight?
@@hurt1704 for me the c&h plate is the way to go on an mos slide. There's also the Agency Arms AOS cut. It's the same idea as the mos cut from glock, modular plate system, just executed better.

No he used red loc tite
@@reddawng43x91he didn’t use red loctite on the plate or optic, they come with threadlocker pre installed. He only used red loctite on the front sight.
Today's Sunday and I just bought my very first gun. A Glock 17 Gen 3. I cannot wait for the 10 day wait to be over so I can go customize and shoot it!!
I tried to like the Glock 19 MOS. However, the grip was just slightly short for me, and to the point that it was uncomfortable to shoot during an extended range session. The sweet spot for me is the Glock 45 and 17 given they’re slight longer in the grip. Even the 43x fits me better than the 19.
The G45 does feel nice in my hands but I've not shot one yet
Those rear sight pushers are sooooo convenient lol i use that thing on all my builds and it makes life so much easier lol

My gen 5 Glock 19 is not the mos but it does have similar sights from the factory to what you installed except they are regular height. But front sight is night sight and blacked out serrated rear with u notch and it's wonderful to not have plastic sights from the factory!!!

I really hope Glock brings back all the other calibers like 357 Sig, 10mm, 40 S&W......hell I’m sure they can figure out now how to make a 10mm and 45 in a 19 size configuration without widening grip size. I’m bored of all these 9mm in the market. We need more variety.
My edc has been a Glock 23 for the past 3 years. If Glock came out with a .45 acp in a 19/23 configuration, I would be all over it! Why carry a .45? Because they dont make a .46...

For those of you who want the extended beaver tail but don't want the added thickness to the grip, simply cut the beaver tail somewhere in the area of the top of the web of your hand.
