Mr Cortina, thank you for your vids. I always learn, from your skill set, and this was no different. Mr Cortina is the equivalent of Bruce Lee, with a gun. Love you Brother.
Erik,it was great being able to see you practice the things that you're always talking about. I'm impressed and have a much better understanding of what you mean by economy of motion. Your movement behind the gun is only what you absolutely must have to take your next shot. Thanks for the excellent example
I've experienced the front bags on my mini-x get loose during matches and my rifle starts jumping or it settles a little lower. I have to unlock and turn the wheel up and re-tighten the bags in the middle of a string. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm wondering if a 3-piece bag with the bottom and separate sides would work better. I'm also wondering if it's the knobs are loosening, or if the sand is settling. I would love to be able adjust it at the beginning and for it to maintain the exact tension and pressure throughout the string. Please comment if you know how to fix this.
Again another great video from you guys . Nice repetitive consistency Eric . I was trying to call your shot with what I could see on the flags . Not knowing your hold didn’t help . Loved it
Awesome shooting …. I think, one of the hardest conditions to shoot in is fickle wind like that - if the wind was stronger and just blowing one way you can deal with it - but when its going left and right, up and down - hard going - and that was excellent shooting from Erik and all well read… awesome..
@@f-classpointsseriesI’m really enjoying these videos. As a new to long distance hobby shooter I learn lots. Hoping to get out to 1000 at least one more time this fall. Trying to learn to read conditions, and only shoot when your conditions are present is challenging and fun.
@@f-classpointsseries I assumed he held dead center. Wind was coming left to right. Maybe he kind of used it as a sighter? Jays gun was kind of torquing a bit. What impressed me so much about you was how smooth your gun was tracking and your economy of motion. I know you talk about it alot. Gonna go back and watch some older matches and pay less attention to score and more on other peoples motions and routines. Thank you for the time and effort you put into the shooting sports. It means a lot to a lot of people🇺🇸
I just started to see this video..finally I'm going to see Erik Cortina in a match. Hopefully we get to see John soon too :)
That would be cool!
I learn so much from your videos . Thank you God bless y'all
Thank you.

Great shooting Erik!
So nice to finally see you shooting and getting a play by play from you just makes it that much better!
Thank you!
You’re welcome.

It’s the sand moving inside the bags due to the rifle torquing. Try adding more sand or experiment with different bag designs.
Thanks guys, I'm learning so much about shooting with the wind.
Nice to see how Eric shoots. Good video and learning lots off wind. Greetings from finland!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great point about filming your shots. I used to film my golf swing from the back and side. It was immensely helpful
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching.

Did anyone notice at 16:45 his gun jumped up off of his rest,...his shot went high ??? Im new but his gun looked loose" in his rest ,..No ???
Possibly.

Hugely entertaining & educational video, as always!!
Top Draw !! 👍🏻
Thank you.
Love this......
Thank you sir
You’re welcome!!
That was a tight gun you had Erik. Now I need to remember your tips for the next match at Bayou. 👍💪
💪
What kind of feet are on Erik’s rest?
Rubber feet from McMaster Carr
Jay's gun jumped a lot.
These videos do help.
Thanks for making them.
You’re welcome.
His 4’s kept increasing your confidence 👍
I do learn for you men God bless y'all
Thank you.
Thx love these video's.
Glad you like them!
What twist in Jays barrel ....man that thing torques.
9 twist, same as Erik’s.
Why is Jay shooting without eye pro?
It was hot and glasses were fogging up. It is NOT recommended to shoot without eye pro.

Great shooting Erik, you were dialed in.
Thank you.
What is cross fire?
When you shoot the wrong target.
Jays rifle was jumping and torquing a lot on the rest
Nice job guys!
Glad you enjoyed it
Well done 👍👍👍👋🤝
Thank you 👍
I find it interesting with Jay’s rifle how it jumps out of the front rest. That would drive me crazy.
Yeah, but he can shoot it very well.

Watch his gun torque over to the side on the last shot.
Man I'm so Jealous of you guys I wish I would grow up...Great Vid
Don't forget to vote for Trump, too . God bless y'all. I love to learn from you guys.
Jay's last shot on that first string torqued the gun and jumped up and rolled left. scored a 3 with that jump.
Not sure if he even took proper aim or just wanted to shoot the round. 🤷♂️
