I have to say that I love this dressing! However unless you're having other people over it's hard to try & eat it all before it goes bad. So I've done the math & made a reduced recipe for a single serving. It tastes just as good if you're only having wings for lunch & not hosting a gameday party.
    Reduced recipe
    1/8 tsp of pepper
    1/8 tsp mustard
    1/8 tsp sugar
    1/8 tsp apple cider vinegar
    1/4 cup of blue cheese
    1/3 cup of mayo
Salt to taste & whipping cream is up to you.

This is the BEST BLUE CHEESE DRESSING!! It seems like the more you let it sit in the fridge the better it is! I used the last of mine within 5 days. It only made me want to make more!!

    Hey everybody!
At the end of every cooking video it used to say "Houseboat Built by Horizon Yachts". They have since went out of business! So we re-did the end of all the videos to simply say "Hey Thanks for watching" That kind of stuff. After we got all the videos uploaded we noticed we missed about 7 or 8 videos and had to re-edit those. We also wanted to change the title of some from boring titles like "Corn" to "Great Corn Casserole" etc. You tube won't let you just update a video. When you change anything it assigns a new link so we had to delete the old ones and repost the new ones... as well as remove them all from pinterest then put them back on because if someone clicked on the old one it would just say "Video removed by Owner" that kind of stuff. Sorry about all the re-posting stuff ... we are done now with all the fixes and will double check everything before posting it so it will be done right the first time. Steve

All I can say is wow. This now rivals Bearnaise as my favorite steak sauce, and is a whole lot easier to make! The key here is the adding more or less of the whipping cream, to get the blue cheese tang or sharpness to your taste. Many different recipes on youtube call themselves "The Best Ever." For the first time out of many tries of many of those recipes, this one is the first, at least to me, that meets that qualification. That it's so simple makes it even more amazing.😋

How long does it last? Keep it uncontaminated meaning take out what you need and put the rest back in the fridge. Keep it in the coldest part of the fridge and I use the bottom shelf way in the back. It lasts until it smells "funny" or tastes "funny." It lasts much longer than they say.

Howdy sir. I'm from upstate NY and regardless of what our Governor says ,chicken wings ARE A MEAL . So anyway like you said theres nothing more disappointing than ruining wings with that disgusting store bought stuff that literally burns your throat ( why the heck does it burn!??)
So the bar in town, known for their bleu cheese but obviously wont give up the recipe. Started my own and now if I don't bring it to our camping trips and parties Im likely to be murdered my current fav and everyones here at the moment
    3/4 cup sour cream
    1.2 cup GOOD quality mayo
    1 tbsp dijon mustard
    half a lemon
1/4 tsp salt, pepper and garlic powder (garlic powder whole new level)
Now heres the tip someone suggested that changed everything.
Add about 3/4 of the bleu cheese and all in food processor blend until smooth then add the rest of the crumbles for that crumbly effect.
let sit in fridge for a few hours is a absolute must!!!!! the taste doubles.
Also when you are making this for the first time know the taste intensifies A LOT in the fridge so after blending you actually want it to taste a bit weak, trust me it will be better after sittig.

You can make a foolproof heavy cream substitute at home whenever you're in a pinch. Simply melt ¼ cup unsalted butter and slowly whisk in ¾ cup whole milk or half-and-half. This is the equivalent of 1 cup of heavy cream and can be used in place of heavy cream in most recipes.
