The whole reason why this album is so full of positivity is because that's what we need in the world today, with all the wars going on. That's why Flags is my favorite song by them; it's sad, but it has a positive message.
completely agree with you, the world is a scary place right now, and coldplay’s message is correct, we all have to love more and see beyond that which people perceive to be our differences
@@josephjamesmusic_ exactly! I remember finding your reaction to flags a few years ago. That song is my favorite of all time, and I agree that I want to see more like it
@@josephjamesmusic_ Awww Matty worked on it? That makes sense. Did he work on Man on the moon too? It sounds like their 1975 80s style vibe to me as well. How amazing would it be if they did a full on CP/1975 collaboration? I would freak! Coldplay should use their producers, now that would be a amazing album with a fresh sound and perspective. To me, Max Martin is not it.
Chris revealed during the sirius show that he only wrote The Karate Kid 2 weeks ago. That's why it's not on the album. A lot of the songs on this edition only got finished after the deadline too
wow, that’s interesting! - it may well grow on me, but it just really didn’t vibe with me initially - but each to their own!! i’m glad you enjoyed regardless 💖
Agree! Really listen to it again, I find this to be more raw and real, and not so polished like the other happy tracks. But I prefer their older music, so that must be why.. :) It reminds me a bit of rainy day..
My god you are an amazing TH-camr I will start watching anything you put out glad to know there is someone else that thinks exactly tha same things I do crazy 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Your reaction was great, I was surprised that they released the deluxe edition of the album so quickly, I get emotional with man in the moon every time I listen to it, it's not just one of the album's highlights but also one of recent years, based on the most pop albums , mylo xyloto, a head full of dreams etc, I also loved the wave and it should be the last song on the album, in fact, it's fantastic :)
Coldplay only released 5,000 cd versions on the full moon edition of Moon Music! I was lucky to get one! Everyone else gets the download! Thanks for sharing this critique video. I agree with you most of the time!
Loved the reaction! Great that you liked All my love! Also one suggestion, you should do an interview with Coldplayxtra ( biggest unofficial Coldplay community) where you can discuss your journey of becoming a fan. Would also be a great opportunity to showcase your music to the hardcore Coldplay fans. Cheers!
That’s my initial reaction on Man in the moon at first. But oh boy.. It’s growing on me like anything. It’s on loop now. Try to get more into the lyrics and you’ll love it!!

A Wave. I try to find it. It’s end of the shows. After wiferworks. This sound and people ho reealy happy go outside stadium Amazing. Agree 100% A wave its better for album finish.
I do think with Coldplay they have the problem with their latter years as oasis did in their early years. They both wrote beautiful and incredible songs, but shit a windmill when it comes to picking songs on the album and which songs should be B sides or extra songs you just want to scream at times!
As much as I would love A wave to end Moon Music, it does make sense in terms of story telling of the original album and this deluxe edition with more live and acoustic versions to end with a wave like it’s a concert
It isn't stellar. But at least the Moon Music instrumental and A Wave take us back to the Coldplay with full intention that we all fell in love with. Those two are a 5/5.
I had the same reaction as you, I'm frustrated. The album could have been so perfect if he had put The Karate Kid just before Rainbow Emoji and A Wave instead of "lalalala" in One World...
I am surprised you didn't like Man In the Moon from this listen, this and I agree A Wave are the highlights for me, The Karate Kid is alright, to me I would have had both One World and A Wave together as one song and maybe get rid of the Orange lalala's rhythm section and put A Wave in that section, okay the song would have been longer but it would have been an absolute banger because One World had to be on the album, when fans took their time to record a voice for this song plus those who went to the concert that they played this live as well, it would too much effort and then suddenly it's off the album, it would just be a kick in the teeth, having both would be the compromise.

Chris said he JUST finished The Karate Kid two weeks ago, by himself and recorded it by himself.
AND! one of my other faves matty healy from the 1975 helped with production and piano 💖
It's a shame it's not on the album. I absolutely love this. Moved me to tears. 😢

I absolutely love man in the moon 😅 like almost my fav from the entire album

@@josephjamesmusic_ you’re a great reactor btw ❤️ and yeah the karate kid had no business not being on the main album 🥲

Man in the moon is delicious! I swapped One world out of the main playlist for this and love how the album ends now.

Great review and have always loved your Coldplay reactions!
There are more 🌈 samples that are still yet to come…. 👀
I was waiting for this ❤
Great Reaction!!
You should react to “Christmas Lights” by Coldplay (my favourite Coldplay song)
Thanks from Spain!!

@@sarahbaker379 They are all scraped songs, they are not gonna include these random songs on an album. Does not fit the vibe
There will be another Moon Music version soon. More new songs to come! 😍

what’s the source!

I was able to guess the two tracks that grew on you correctly! Why? Because they grew on me as well.

I dont understand why there are 2 versions
Great positive review but give Man in the moon more listens, it’s from the Mx era and it epic
Is this Full Moon Album going to be released on Vinyl
You're such a funny guy, im from Indonesia
Why isnt A Wave the end of the Album? Because "In the end it’s just Love

this is a very good compromise, and i can’t lie, i would have liked one world more if this was the case, because both match each other similarly

One World was chosen I guess because Brian Eno
I really think you should check out OneRepublic's new album, Artificial Paradise. It's been growing on me
i will check it out!
@@josephjamesmusic_for instance, the opening track is a lot like the opening track of this album.
We agree today! Man in the Moon is such a meh song imo. Kinda just a whistle along with not much else to it. Karate Kid on the other hand is superb!
