Hey @NoizeLondon ! Great work but at the end of video the before/after version the voice goes from someone singing unconfident to a Justin bieber / Ed Sheran voice. How did you do that lol Even the stems in the video doesn't sound like the voice in the mix they sent you. THANK YOU for the great content 🤟🏻
Crazy what some good engineering can do eh?? A lot of people don't understand why they would pay for a mix. Hopefully now they see!!
The way you explained Vastaus is not exactly right. The important knob is Tame. It is neutral at 0 and most active at 100. The wet knob is just like any other dry/wet parameter, it's not affecting the signal on its own. Input gain can bring back high frequencies to better control the signal. React engaged lets some transients pass through; Bias introduces harmonics.

I never ever in my downloaded and deleted a plugin so fast. Vastaus is horrible.
It’s not perfect - however if you use it subtly it’s very effective. We strongly recommend reading the manual :)
You are compressoring an already compressored and quite saturated vocal.
Mild compression - pretty much raw
@@NoizeLondon "mild"… c'mon people such as myself do know what pre-mixing (preparation post-recording) is. Those are not raw recordings or if they were, they had tons of compressoring and saturating on the way in.
Im not sure but I don’t think this is raw.. it sounded processed already

@@PASHKULI I always let the producer/artist process as they like, there is a very small amount of processing nothing mega but still enough for me to build on!
