    I have been doing a LOT of research on root rot and how to save my plant, and this video has been one of the most informative and helpful videos I have ever seen on this topic! Also showing actual examples really helped; I had yet to see roots like my plant before this video! Thank you so much for sharing. ❤

    Thank you so much, this is incredibly helpful! I am a new plant parent about to perform my first plant surgery...on my own son! 😱
    My fittonia/nerve plant:
    1. Bought from Walmart in really bad shape.
    2. Transplanted in coco, peat, potting mix and perlite.
    3. Perks up but is still a little droopy.
    4. Water. Still a little droopy.
    5. Build a humidity chamber/indoor greenhouse, add an adjustable grow light, and check the humidity and temperature to create the perfect environment.
    6. All of the plants seem happy except the Fittonia! It's perky, but leaves begin crimping up, and a few tips yellow.
    7. Having tried everything else; decide to take it out of the pot to check on it. Uh oh!...one hole isn't enough to drain, the bottom is wet, and, AND!...the roots look yucky! 😭
    I'm confident he can be saved because he still looks really good. And I'm less nervous thanks to your video. Wish me luck! 🤞

      Hey thanks for sharing.. Fittonia is a tricky plant, it needs high humidity. But a well draining pot is necessary… 😊

    Hi, I just wanted to ask if I can use 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide and 2 parts water for my plants daily water? Is it harmful or not

    • @bringnatureinside
      @bringnatureinside  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Giving them daily would be harmful, try to use in once 3-4 months. :)

    It's winter here in Sydney. My gloriousum has root rot. Can I repot after trimming off the rotted roots even if it's cold?

    Hi.. Did your plant survive? ❤️

  • @AveryCreates

    Hello again 👋 I'm finding mixed information. I followed your wonderful tutorial but do I water immediately after repotting or wait a day? Two days? A week?
    My fittonia looks droopy, I expected it to because it had a lot of damage and I'm sure all the root cutting gave it some shock. The leaves left were healthy and green.

      You can either pre moisten the soil a bit and not water soon after. But if the soil is dry, you can water it. As I said earlier, Fittonia likes humidity and like the soil to be moist but not too wet. It is better not to water the plant when the soil is moist. Hope you can rescue it soon😊

    • @bringnatureinside
      @bringnatureinside  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, it is better to take them out and chop off the rotted roots otherwise it will spread to the healthy roots as well. 😊
