The exhilaration, the longing, the anticipation of what is yet to come. The intrigue of the unknown. The stillness of night with nothing but a heartbeat and the sound of pages turning. The reader, barely able to keep their eyes open, reading and re-reading the same line, hesitant to let go though the words begin to blur. The want to read just one more line before the book slips from their hands ...
