You're totally right.
If you drive 220km/h straight on the Autobahn (German Highway) you can't just drive on a resting spot and shut the engine off. You've got to wait a bit until the engine itself, the oil, the water and the components have cooled down.
You have to do this especially when you boost an engine up to 2.0 Bar turbo pressure.

its a cool job but its a alot of hard work tbh
It is a nice job, but it also has it's bad sides. Truck drivers are often not very well respected and people who work at companies treat drivers like shit, I've experienced this myself. Also you often have to wait a long time at a company for example when paperwork isn't ready. Waiting times of 2-6 hours are normal. And traffic jams. And you need to work hard and long. Sometimes 15 hours a day. You come home, eat and sleep and then there's the next day of work. No free time. It's a nice and cool job, but don't forget it's bad sides!
Mike Theunissen this job has its good points and bad points ive been shouted at ive been threatend and been punched but at the end of the day its not a job its a life style i get home 2 days a week and the 2 days im home i sleep wash my clothes for the next week and get ready for another week of abuse but at the end of the day i still love my job

Good video. I would not want to drive a truck without being able to shift a gear lever though. I've driven trucks with both automatic and autoshift transmissions and Id rather have the control of shifting gears with a stick. Scania V-8 sound rocks ! ! !

10:27 that traffic light. I always wondered how come traffic lights work like this in Sweden? Yourself and opposite of you is green, yet you are allowed to turn left. And that black hatchback was going straight. It looks like if you were not careful, there could have been a collision? How does this system work? I always thought it was a bug in ETS2.
I'm pretty sure that it is a "european thing". By the looks we use the same system in Estonia, basically when you and the opposite side both have green lights and you are turning left you have to give way vehicles going straight. Also you have to turn in front of vehicles turning left from the other side. (we call it the "X-turn"- a loose translation)
(I think the same rules apply for regular intersections over here) But as long driving schools keep teaching the "turn" there is a very low chance of collision, but you still have to be careful when driving nevertheless ;)
Hopefully this answers some of Your questions
IMO it works quite well unless the traffic light cycle is short and there is a lot of traffic going straight and trying to turn left, then you might have to wait a few cycles to make that left turn as only a few cars can enter the intersection and finish their turn during a green light.
