Hi Ann I know how you feel as I have just left my married home after being married for 37 years he left me for another woman and moved out quickly. Leaving me to sort the house alone, sell it and move on. It’s been a hard journey and listening to you it breaks my heart.
I left with my dog and possessions and moved to a small house away from the area. I have not sorted out my things yet. You are an inspiration and I wish I could help you too!

Your video showed up in my feed. I love home making videos. When you've learned to be content no matter what situation you're in, you've figured out life. I think it's awesome that you kept your channel going through a very difficult time. My ex left me and our 4 kids after 13 years. He re-married right away and left me destitute. We lived in a motel for a year. I worked my way (with the help of my kids) out of poverty and have been married for 30 years to a wonderful man. I have no idea where the time went! Tough times don't last but tough people do!
You got it done, girl. So proud of you. Despite tears and fears, you got it done. Take a deep breath, put the pieces back together to suit yourself. I don’t know your husband, but that was a lot of love walking out the door. You, the pet babies, and the beautiful,life you built. His loss. When he comes begging for you back…..walk away! I vividly remember when I had to leave my house twenty years ago bc me and my ex were separating that time... I decided to rent a small apartment and start my new life.. that painful feeling of getting my stuff out, leaving the trees on the backyard, leaving most of the plants, the mural I painted in the bathroom.. leaving that house represented me leaving a chapter in my life. The pain can't be described. It's still here and whenever I remember that stage of my life, it's bittersweet. I know I didn't deserve it but there is a reason why it needed to happen.
A year from now you’re going to have a whole new full life and discover things you never would have done as a part of this relationship. It’s hard now, but you will be happy again. The best part about a breakup is it forces you to focus on yourself.
One thing that last forever is the Love of Our Creator ❤

I am so very sorry Ann, I understand moving out of a place you once called home. When I left what I called home for the last time, it was the beginning of a journey to healing for me, and I started living again. You will have good days, and sad days, in time the good days will be more frequent, and the sad less and less. Be kind to yourself, allow yourself time to grieve. Keep a journal of your thoughts and hopes and dreams for your future. If you do that, in a years time you will look back on it and see how much you grew and changed. You have a community here rooting for you.

my ex-husband left me after 12 years of marriage for a much younger woman, she was actually his hairdresser,
He left me and a 3-year-old and 5 year old son and five cats,
He gladly helped pack up the U-Haul and watch his wife kids and cats leave to move 16 hours away.
All these years later with my kids grown and out of the house,
As hard as it was to go through at the time, I look back and I am so thankful to God for getting that man out of my life.
Sometimes we think we know what's best for us, but God absolutely knows better!

My ex decided to end our 34 year chapter in 2019, two adult daughters and two grandkids at that time, now five grandkids. He is now happily married to the other woman, good for them. I however, am very happy being a mom/best friends to my girls and being the best Grammy I can be. They are my world, my priority. They have helped me heal, very blessed.

I was in exactly the same place as you in 2001, I closed the door and didn't look behind me, started again had fun, found myself, did a lot of work on my healing, let my family help put me back together again (and do let them) and now I'm remarried with 2 teenagers and look back now knowing leaving was the right way forward, give yourself 2 years grace and I can promise that your life will be in a much better place❤

It has been almost a year since I separated from my husband, you are so right you are starting your healing journey and it is a wonderful feeling. I just moved into my new apartment in December and it has truly been a wonderful journey for me. Hey Ann ❤ you can use bath salt in your feet bath. I don’t have a bath tub, only shower but I do fill a container to bathe my feet and I use salt , regular or bath salts to soften my feet ❤
