    Nice review. I'm looking forward to giving the frame a try. Right now, I'm flying the Volador 3.5 for my small build but looking to build a sub 250 drone. Take care. ✌🏾❤️

    The t motor pacer 1604 2850 mototes are really good for 6s....like 5 to 6 min flught times and super punchy with a 450 mah or 380 mah gnb 6s battery....super good setup

    Great introductory video!
    Please try the presets"4.3 Filter settings for VERY CLEAN build with RPM FILTERING". This is the basic setting for Djinn F25. The prop wash issue will be resolved afterward.

    Make it lighter! With the insane HQ Tr2.5x2.5x3 props i hover at 17% throttle. 140g drone and 200g with 550mah 4s

    Nice review and very informative! This 2.5 inch could be a nice house/garden flyer!
    I'm curious about your experience with the 3 inch quadmula, heard some folkes like that one even better
    than the 5 inch. 🙂

    • @kellywasden

      The 3" can fly similar to the 5" but definitely not with smaller motors. I have the T Motor 1604 on my 3" siren and am considering trying out the 2004's as I have seen some youtubers do for more power. Either way, it's a smooth flight and very zippy!

    • @skychaser5591
      @skychaser5591 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kellywasden Thnx for letting know! I think I gonna order two 3-inch frames and try one first with these T-motor 1604 2850KV so I can run it with 6S batteries instead of 4S. That way I probably can stay < 250 gr. With 2004 motors I think it's gonna be hard to stay < 250 but maybe I gonna try these anyways..... 😈😁

    • @kellywasden
      @kellywasden ปีที่แล้ว

      Just put 1604's on my 3" and flies soo smooth. I think 6s makes a difference in overall power and less sag. Gonna throw on my 2004's and see if there's a noticeable difference. What size of 4s you have on it? I had 850's and I think it was just too heavy for the 4s.

    • @JuicySmullietFPV
      @JuicySmullietFPV ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kellywasden that's wat I have with my 4s (GNB 850mah) but I have definitely not felt like it was underpowered. 2004 3000kv motors on 3s is definitely underpowered. I haven't tried 6s yet because I only have 1100 and 1300 batteries and that would be too much, I believe.

    • @Lemuel_FpV
      @Lemuel_FpV ปีที่แล้ว +1

      380 gnb’s are the ticket! I love my f3 6s with 03. Get around 3 min of freestyle. Used murdersfpv’s tune,…perfection

  • @photosbyjames_
    @photosbyjames_ 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    you should give this thing another go using the gnb 380mah, ive been flying the gnb 650mah and it feels like a complete different drone going from 650 to 380, the weight makes a massive difference

    What kv you got on your motors?

  • @GjurovskiFPV
    @GjurovskiFPV ปีที่แล้ว +1

    if you wanna more like 5 inch feel then try diferent motors, 1105 -1106- 1206 4500-5000kv (4s of course :D), and 3blade props, 1404 are bit wide and blocking a lot of thrust on 3blade props and 5 blade that you have from gemfan are utterly inefficient above 70% throttle and have a lot of drag.....
    I still didnt find 2,5 inch quad that flies like Geprc Phantom HD, but frame from phantom canot hold o3 camera :/

    I am very curious to try this frame as I want to build something light, that I can flip around in spots where a 5" might be too tight or noisy. I love the fact that you get no props in view, however lots of people are saying that it feel very underpowered no matter what parts, 4s or 6s, etc you put in there. I know it will not fly as good as a regular 5", but is it really that heavy? You seem to be flipping it around pretty well. Other solution would be a 3", but the does not seem to be any frames available with no props in view and it kind of feel like it take away some of the purpose of the high quality footage that you can get from the o3...

    • @JevinW
      @JevinW  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So I manage to get the weight down and tweaked the tune to make it fly a lot better. Learned a few things that could apply to folks looking to build this and I plan to include that in a video this weekend if the weather is decent.

    • @TrickyFPV420
      @TrickyFPV420 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JevinW but in your opinion, do you think it is worth building on this platform, if I want something between a tiny whoop and a 5” for freestyle outdoors or should I go with f3 split and live with props in view?

    • @JevinW
      @JevinW  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Go with the 3in with 2004 sized motors if you want something smaller with a 5in feel. 2.5in props just can’t create that 5in feel

      Oscillations... He mentioned it needs to be tuned. I used to like oscillations when I 1st got into the hobby. I felt like it was the equivalent of doing a burn out in a car. But I learned this was undesirable later due to the stress to the motors and components.
      An easy fix might be to limit the power output. But I'm sure he has a more sophisticated means of getting the power under control and making more efficient and smooth.

  • @DrFlathead
    @DrFlathead ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video and awesome build... Honestly, I was disappointed with the power of my f25 on 6s with a build similar to yours. Then went to 4s on rcinpower 1207 5000kv (1207's are larger than 1404's) and at that kv on 4s youre looking at something like 15000 more rpm. So quite a bit more thrust, lighter batteries and more battery choices, and man, it punches out almost as hard as a powerful 5" but there's definitely more battery sag on 4s.
