- Ah, mes amis, gather 'round as I unveil the secrets of crafting a brioche so buttery, you won't believe it's sans beurre! And what's this? Pas d'oeufs either? Mais oui, it's true! This Easter, we're taking a stroll through the charming streets of Nice, with a vegan twist on the classic - a Brioche de Pâques that will make even your French grandmother nod in approval.
Now, let me tell you, this isn't just any brioche. Non, non, non! This is the Easter Brioche, a crown jewel of the Côte d'Azur, traditionally savored during the joyous Easter celebrations. But we're not just sticking to tradition here - we're revolutionizing it with vegan chocolate eggs that will make your heart sing "La Marseillaise"!
Imagine the aroma of orange blossom wafting through your kitchen, as you prepare a brioche so splendid, it's adorned with vegan eggs and sprinkled with pearl sugar - a true pièce de résistance. So, roll up Roll up your sleeves, channel your inner French baker, and let's embark on this culinary adventure together. And remember, the proof is in the pudding, or should I say, in the brioche!
✅INGREDIENTS
500 grams of all-purpose flour
100g sugar
150 gr cooked potato
150 gr vegan butter
2 tsp salt (9gr)
1 tsp 1/2 active dry yeast (7g)
150 gr plant-based milk (Oat, soy, cashew, almond)
1 lemon and/ or 1 Tbs orange blossom water
Chocolate eggs to decorate
3 Tbs pearl sugar
Cheers! Lionel

How nice that you are back. I'm really looking forward to trying the recipe. A great surprise for the grandchildren at Easter. You are the best. I hope you're well, thanks for the nice video
Hope you enjoy! Thank you for your support 😁
@@myveganprovence you are so welcome. It is a pleasure
I love your creations but I wouldn’t attempt!Thx! 😂someday I hope there is good European style vegan bakery near me!
I hope so too! Where do you live?
I always make a Ukrainian paska for Orthodox Easter, but tend not to make any kind of bread for "regular" Easter. This year may be different because this recipe is very enticing! Thanks for posting 🙂
Interesting! Let me know how the brioche turns out, then !
Me too. Vegan now and was looking for a paska recipe I could try!
Edit: Made this for today, Easter Sunday, 2024, and it was superb. Soft, cottony, slightly rich, with a pleasant crunch from the pearl sugar and a lovely balance between the sugar and orange blossom water flavors in the dough You would never know it's vegan, as it is missing nothing. Will make it annually; thanks again for posting!
Oh! Wow! I’m so glad you tried it and it was successful! Happy Easter!
😍😍😍
😸😸😊

Please do! Let us know how it turns out!
Looks amazing!❤
Thank you 😋
Excelente!!, muy buena explicación, gracias
😁
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing! Can it be baked the day before serving?
Yes, absolutely. Cover the brioche with a large salad bowl. It can keep for few days like that.
