somtimes we are afraid of letting our heart out to someone knowing that they might make fun of it or they would not understand, but by being vulnerable we come closer to ourselves, become brave, and let other people know who we are and not what we portray.people r gonna respect that because now they know real you and wl reciprocate it by love :)

Oh my, oh my, I'm so amazed that I happen to come across this the very day it has been posted. I absolutely loved this. I cry almost every time I speak in public and understand so deeply how he is feeling as he shares these vulnerable moments. I honestly don't mind crying when I'm speaking, but it's those moments of trying to compose myself so that my words aren't completely lost in the tears. Our tears make us human and they connect us on such a deep level. I'm so glad there are more and more people speaking about this crucial way for us to connect as people. It's so important and I was just talking to someone about it again yesterday. What a wonderful husband, father and son this man must be. God bless him for his courage, his heart, his tenacity and his love for his family and others.

is it not about being true to yourself and your environment which is partially being vulnerable?

It didn't work for me.... it cost me a romantic relationship.

If someone can't handle your humanity, you weren't truly relating in that relationship anyway.
