The sheen on the anodizing actually isn't really an indicator of quality. It's more an indicator of the style of anodizing, as it would be a soft anodizing. A proper hardcoat anodizing can't really end up that consistent or clean. The struggle to get quality anodizing done in colors is why one of the few that does it right (Geissele Automatics) outright says that their anodized parts of the same color won't necessarily match.
Good point! While the sheen does indeed indicate the style of anodizing and the surface prep of the metal, I can promise you Jay has enough experience with anodizing that he can judge quality. :)
@@joshbussard5583 You can't judge quality without a spec sheet and how it was done chemically... that's kinda the point I'm making. He can judge that it looks nice. The 7800X3D is really easy to cool. Even small coolers are fine here. And even the 9800X3D isn't excessive so this doesn't need a 280 rad. The Noctua NH-L12S should do fine with either of those.

I love seeing people showing off more SFF stuff recently. I do wish people gave credit to some of the great boutique options that first came up with or brought these ideas to the public. Stuff like the Formd T1 that was (to my knowledge) the first to bring the adjustable center bar sandwich style, and Ncase M1 / M2 that provide great customization as well. They're amazing cases that I feel like not enough bigger tech youtuber's talk about. I'll grant that it's harder because they aren't just off the shelf, and usually take a week or 2 to arrive, not to mention they're mostly sent flat packed with assembly required, but they're still absolutely top tier options
I do have to acknowledge how good this case looks though! I don't want to come across like I'm disparaging Antec because that's not my goal at all. This build is gorgeous. I do tend to prefer flipped orientation personally with the CPU / mobo side facing me rather than the GPU but that's all personal preference. Either way awesome video Jay, and THANK YOU for recognizing that the SF750 will handle that build. So many people go way overboard with PSU because they think they need it. A strong platinum rated PSU of 750 watts like the SF750 will handle pretty much any modern build just fine, especially if you're willing to tune power settings or undervolt and that like.
One thing I would like to know is if you can put a 240 rad on the bottom, maybe for an AIO. That said, I would like to see the front and back panels extend down an inch or so to give the bottom some ground clearance.

As I'm watching Jay's great review, I'm moving my main build from a Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 to an Antec C8 Curve. I've been a fan of Antec for a while, but in recent years they didn't have competitive or compelling options, so it's great to see them back in the game.
I've had many Antec cases and power supplies going back since the turn of the millennium. I still have my main PC in a ten year old Antec P50 dual chamber case from 2016. I did have to add some ventilation holes on the front panel for a 13th generation Intel CPU and change the fans to PWM Noctua's to replace the old single speed Antec case fans. Love these type of cases, out with the loud screaming RGBBBBBBB cases and in with the discrete small form factor cases. We're not all 16 anymore, ill for sure be getting this case asap.
@thelaughingmanofficial This isn't intended to be a workstation case with an EATX. Lmao I'm on board with this, I don't need the UFO light show in my case.

Building my first SFF machine ever. But had a custom case I started a decade ago that was about 80% done, using that. Super badass 8700G to rock some Guitar Hero for my girl.
Great spotlight for SFF! -Suggestion for temps: invert the case such that the bottom becomes the top. Supposedly, top and bottom panels are interchangeable. Run the fans as exhaust with no dust filter.- Edit: I got to the end. Another post on Reddit suggested that the case was invertible. Is it possible to move the feet?
I'm still building my new PCs in an antique Antec 1200 that I've had for ages and ages and ages probably close to 20 years now lol. I love that Antec case. ❤️ They don't make them like they used to. @Antec if you made a modernized version of the 1200 I would buy it up in an instant.
Great review thanks Jay. I wish Antec would come up with a similar fully modular mid-sized case which would enable you to add 5.25" external drive bays for card readers, fan speed controllers, VDUs, tool trays or whatever. Make it fully customisable.
What I would love to see as a Side pannel option in this case would be a Laser Cut acrylic pannel where you could have both the Mesh and the clearness, not sure if that would be possible to make within reasonable cost but It just hit me as you were talking about the different glass sides and the GPU Cooling.
You know seeing Jay easily build in such an ITX case takes some of my anxiety away of wanting to build an mATX system next. I would love to see a video on pitfalls when building a ITX/mATX/SFF system that might not be obvious to average users and builders.
Looks great! The red is nice, but personally having something like a brass colour instead would be an instabuy for me. The option for a tower orientation would be amazing too, as well as a little more height for an AIO.
man remember the old corsair 250D, that was a dream build for me in the old days. shame nothing would fit in that these days shame we dont see much good cheap mitx cases that can fit almost anything in it these days because everything runs so hot and is huge
If Antec came up with some sort of base that you could attach to the bottom that had considerations for feeding cables, it would be a perfect vertical case.
Symmetrical top and bottom panels for swapping exhaust fans to the top would be cool. A symmetrical MB tray so swapping sides with the fans in either top or bottom, so you could choose what side you want facing the desired direction. The I/O end cap could accommodate an insert that could be legs of lengths and configurations for cable management, cooling and aesthetics or even an extra fan. Unless the I/O end cap is removable (he didn't say if it was or not) then just swap the whole thing for strength.
Handles! I want to see more handle options on the market for portable PCs it would be super kool to have modular handle options with such robust milled chassis systems coming out. Like I'll screw it on myself but an attachment point would be nice to have for the option to do so.
I think it would be amazing if the case had an optional side panel with a small bump-out for just a bit more CPU cooler clearance. It could really open up some build options without compromising the compact design!
This is actually a really cool case both in aesthetics and how it's built, the ability to customize and mod seems like a huge boon. The fan placement limitations, and lack of custom loop support (ish) seem to be the only downsides, but with the amount of mesh you get it seems this'll be fine with good aircoolers and just letting the case breathe. Oh, and not a huge fan of the open back design, seems kind of unfinished because of everything kind of hanging out of the back like that. That said, I'm actually veeery tempted to build a fully aircooled 9800x3D + Radeon setup in this case, simply because of the color scheme. If I hadn't just bought a North XL, and a X670E board, I would definitely be going that route. Great review, Antec is definitely working overtime on their cases!
I’d love to see if you could flip the top and bottom panels, so you could put a top mounted radiator with a flipped motherboard layout. They look to be the same size.
Love the case, but like you said, would love to see a vertical mounted case. Not really big fan of red, but it does look clean. I think a white case (outside) with a black interior would be super clean. Could do a super clean black/white build 🤤🤤🤤
I would love to see this be able to be vertical!! Would also be a good homebrew case for EGPU They could make a flow through front panel, and a bit of modification those feet could be used on the back if you were to mount it vertically and since they are half loop they could help with wire management. I want one of these BAD if they keep the price under $120 I may jump on one
I DEFINITELY am gonna keep a look out for video builds with this case! The ability to freely move the MB around with the case should've existed decades ago.
If you wanted to mount it vertically just design a stand and 3d print it to see how it works. I do think it would defeat the purpose of the bottom to top airflow, and the front panel being solid doesn't help, however it does have very good airflow with all the ventilation holes in the panels.
Been heavily considering a SFF build because I got a huge wide-screen monitor and I feel the lack of desk space now and I'm considering mounting my PC below my desk. SFF would be key for that.
Ouuu, that Red/Black colourway is beautiful. More computer companies need to make this an option, the best colour combo for gamers, don't know what it is but I immediately fell in love with this, and I'm using a HYTE Y60 so quite the size difference lol
I would love to see the dividing panel in the middle to be slightly lower to allow two low profile exhaust fans. As it is now, there is enough space in the top section of the case to fit fans but the divider is just too high. Two case fans for a SFF build just not enough air flow.
You need to test it with the panels on instead of just guessing. I found with the glass on in my itx case my gpu got more cooling as the air needed to go up and past the gpu to cool it were as with the vented panel on the air from the case fans had a way to escape before it cooled the gpu.
it would be cool to have the mobo upside down and the gpu fans pointed toward the top of the case by pushing the spine all the way to one side. this could also allow for bigger cpu coolers or possibly a different layout to put a rad up there on the top. i like the red interior but i think the M2 has more layout options.
You should take a look at the SAMA brand. Cases... AIOs ... fans .... power supplies. So far, especially for the price, I have been thoroughly impressed.
The Corsair SF750 is the GOAT.. I daily an overclocked 14900K + overclocked Strix 3090OC in a Lian Li A4-H2O without any issue. Properly configuring BIOS parameters is imperative.
If they could find a way to expand the front panel out to allow a third fan for the bottom, that would be really cool. From some of the angles it *ALMOST* looks like one could fit there
For these sff travel style computers, would be really cool if they made a laptop hinged style screen that flips up from the side panel and flips down when not in use. With BT m&k it would probably become my favorite style of pc ever lol
You could MacGyver 2 fans on the top plate as it is now, using either adhesive Velcro or even zip ties or you could hot glue a 3d printed fan shroud assembly which 2 140's could screw into. I really like this case even though SFF is nothing I would ever use. The Red would go great with an AMD build for sure or you could pull the whole case apart and spray that peelable paint over the red in whatever color you like, being able to fully remove it later should you want to. Great review, I might pick this up for my Wife as She want's more room on her desk, this is right up her alley.
Really love watching you Jay. My only probablem is I can't watch too many reviews these days, or I start using money I don't have to buy things I don't need. :(
I'm curious if you can put the bottom panel on the top, this flipping the whole case? That would make the fans exhaust, and maybe even let you support an AIO (a very thin one) at the top.
Talking about the expandability made me think of the old Cooler Master HAF case that was kind of like a HAF 932 with a top chamber added to it. I want to say the chamber was even removable. I'm not 100% sure on that though.
AVENTURINE is the name of the Red Color Inside. Aventurine Red, for example, can be found as a Paint on the BMW or it can also be found in Nature as Crystal/Quartz. He is said to be able to Create/Represent "Fearlessness and confident Self-Confidence."

Groovy retro background music man. It that some Lynyrd Skynyrd from the 1970's? 🤭
I've built a couple pc and fixed a couple small form factor or water cooling would be fun to try
Glad to have Antec back!
Stunning case. I love the front panel, it looks almost retro. The red internal chassis is a nice touch too. The b580 sparkle would look great in there
Love these type of cases, out with the loud screaming RGBBBBBBB cases and in with the discrete small form factor cases. We're not all 16 anymore, ill for sure be getting this case asap.
Maybe for you but not for people who build workstations that need multiple GPU's, not everyone is a gamer.
@thelaughingmanofficial This isn't intended to be a workstation case with an EATX. Lmao
I'm on board with this, I don't need the UFO light show in my case.
@@thelaughingmanofficial There's more than enough options available for big ass workstations. Cases that look good aren't made for work stations, the ones that are are just black and simple.
Run the fans as exhaust with no dust filter.-
Edit: I got to the end. Another post on Reddit suggested that the case was invertible. Is it possible to move the feet?
For a temporary solution for inverting the case. Use some 1 by 2 wooden boards for temporary feet. Then you can try our your fan idea.
That click when closing the top of the case in one satisfying sound
Lovely looking case. Will keep an eye out for one of these.
That looks incredible with the anodized red. I wish they made that styling in a mid or full tower.
man remember the old corsair 250D, that was a dream build for me in the old days. shame nothing would fit in that these days shame we dont see much good cheap mitx cases that can fit almost anything in it these days because everything runs so hot and is huge
If Antec came up with some sort of base that you could attach to the bottom that had considerations for feeding cables, it would be a perfect vertical case.
Greg Salazar did it first. But i Really Do like this Case im thinking about ditching my nzxt h1 for this antec case
Beautiful editing work
This case with a vertical stand would be just excellent. Great point Jay
Would also be a good homebrew case for EGPU
They could make a flow through front panel, and a bit of modification those feet could be used on the back if you were to mount it vertically and since they are half loop they could help with wire management. I want one of these BAD if they keep the price under $120 I may jump on one
I'd love to have a case like this that supports dual AIO watercooling.
I DEFINITELY am gonna keep a look out for video builds with this case! The ability to freely move the MB around with the case should've existed decades ago.
Take what you can get with the SFX-included power supply cables, get custom's later.
Looking good
Beat drop during the build was epic
I have a feeling I have already seen that case! Fwiw the glass and partial glass side panels are nice!
Yep, the Formd T1.
@TerranigmaQuintet nope
@TerranigmaQuintet Greg Salazar
Fractal pop had many colour options, but i never see builds in them. Which is a shame
Vertical mount would be a good add-on feature.
I would love to see the dividing panel in the middle to be slightly lower to allow two low profile exhaust fans. As it is now, there is enough space in the top section of the case to fit fans but the divider is just too high. Two case fans for a SFF build just not enough air flow.
So cool ...probably would not want to put on rug, cooling issues..they do sell case stands...I am going to buy this case...I am impressed
I just put a 200mm Noctua in my Antec 900D. Thinking about new Antec now!
This is a quality and gorges SFF case I have yet seen. The material they used is worth top $. The workmanship reminds me of Caslabs
Glad to see that Antec is getting a good recognition again! Silverstone's the only one that I ain't hearing from a reco standpoint.
Really love watching you Jay. My only probablem is I can't watch too many reviews these days, or I start using money I don't have to buy things I don't need. :(
Having the bottom fans as exhaust, might give better performance too by introducing negative pressure. This is how it works in the terra at least.
That's a real nice looking case.
All of Antec cases are banger this year, my only wish is that they improve the availability ❤
Antec is a good product i got a antec HCG-520M psu on my gaming rig i got in 2013 and still running good.
I still like that Pelican Case build you did Jay ... When we getting another office tour ?
This may be my next case, depending on price. I love sff builds and really like the look of this case.
AVENTURINE is the name of the Red Color Inside. Aventurine Red, for example, can be found as a Paint on the BMW or it can also be found in Nature as Crystal/Quartz.
He is said to be able to Create/Represent "Fearlessness and confident Self-Confidence."
I would love to see you do a water cooling build in something like this.
I think i’d put some thin fans for exhaust on top
this lowkey looks awesome for a homelab setup.
Recently gone MATX to save space in an Lian Li A3 , honestly I wouldn't go back to ATX Cases, My 14900K and 7900XTX runs perfectly cool and quiet ❤️
I am still of the opinion that Jay needs to do a build in the Antec Cannon. It really would be a perfect chassis for a Black Ice or Nebula revival build!
Antec's return has been sick. I got the C8 after GN's review.
