You are absolutely right. But what few realize is that he went to kill his own people, the survivors of the Shady Sands explosion. It's all the more tragic.
The ghouls Lucy saw entering the observatory were the ones she saved at the Super Duper Mart. Notice the lady who introduced Cooper to Hank was Betty. The city at the end was not Seattle, it was New Vegas a major location from the Fallout game of the same name by Obsidian.
Also, nice catch on the Rose Quartz necklace. I haven't seen anyone else catch that detail, and I missed it too. I think that's part of why Hank blew up the city(again). He was jealous that Rose left him for someone who actually was rebuilding the surface, which was his goal. Moldaver wasn't the first NCR president btw, shes like number 15, the NCR was around for a long time before Hank blew it up. I totally think Rose and Moldaver were a thing, why else would she keep her around as a ghoul and continue wearing her ring, which she wasn't wearing in the flashback when she met Rose and lil'Lucy.
If you watch with subtitles, they literally call Bud "Brain-On-A-Roomba" lol. Amazon owns Roomba btw. This episode was so wild. All those twists... Remember last episode where Lucy said "If my dad found out I destroyed an entire community to save one person he'd be so disappointed." Then you learn what HE did... I'm also really proud of Norm. His horror investigation in the Vault is just like playing the game, where you find a Vault and explore it, and learn about the horrible experiment that went on inside... Norm is probably my second favorite character after The Ghoul for that reason. I'm glad you liked the show! Fallout is something special. Such a good setting for stories.
This episode captures so well the tagline of the franchise. "War... War never changes." Maximus says it. "Everyone wants to save the world, they just disagree on how." This is a franchise where the key aspect, the core of it is simply deconstructing how no one is right, no one is perfect, and there are very few good people, if any at all. It's a hard message, and this show drives it home until you're sick of it. The brotherhood of steel is not the worst choice, that doesn't make them a good choice. Vault tec was awful, but they did keep a lot of people alive and safe. You can't paint any one faction with a single broad brush. They are all complex, and they all have bodies in the backyard. So the only thing you can do is the best you can. That's why I love this show, and that's why I love Fallout.
You have a big heart, that's for sure. I didn't tear up watching this episode, but, I gotta say, you caught me hard in the feels when you did. You have a good one and let's hope season 2 comes around soon. 👍
I think the combination of “The Terminator” & everything happening in the world finally caught up. In the unedited I’m a mess. It truly hit me that irregardless if you hide or you stay up top, it’s all going to be bad, so you might as well fight. It was a lot.

Lucy and Max got what they wanted in the beginning, just to learn that it's not what they want anymore. One question remains - who cleaned up Vault 32 so quick, when everyone in Vault 31 is on ice, and people in Vault 33 are not supposed to know what really happened?
@@Scyth0r Bud seems to be the only Robot in there. I lean more towards Vault 31 having a clean-up crew they unfroze to do the work, then went back into cryo. Pretty safe bet that this isn't the first time either.
I read tarot (I had a channel there too but stopped when I got sick last year) i also have sun catchers with the crystal. Very pretty to gift if you ever find them.
Beginning of Episode 2 Lucy- Desires to find her father and go back to the vault. Maximus- Desires to become a Knight. End of Episode 8 Lucy- Finds her dad, but wants nothing to do with him. Maximus- Becomes a Knight, but doesn't want to be in the Brotherhood anymore. Both got what they originally wanted. However, if you have ever played Fallout, you know that the wasteland and the people you meet along the way, change you and your values.

Now that was a reaction :) So much more to see in the Fallout universe - they've only teased the start of it here. If you really want to grow your channel, I'd recommend reacting to "The Expanse" (on Prime). It's a science fiction show (and the first few episodes are very confusing!), but there's also a strong hint of "Alien" about the plot - if you're into horror. It's much longer than Fallout (six seasons of varying length), but there's a big audience of people who love the show looking for new reactors to it... me included :) I'll be sticking around regardless, though!

If you haven't seen it already, I would like to suggest something that may just be the scariest thing released as a mini-series, because it actually happened. I'm talking about Chernobyl. By far the best series I've seen in decades. While watching your Fallout reactions, I couldn't help but notice your Nightmare on Elm Street poster. I saw it in the theater when it first came out and I gotta say it is my all-time favorite comedy. I laughed so hard watching that movie. I've seen pretty much every horror movie made up to 1990. After that, they just kinda started repeating themselves. The 1st Saw movie was the 1st in quite some time that surprised me, I did NOT see the ending coming.
I know. Saw was such an original story. Then they drove it in to the ground. Chernobyl is definitely happening. The summer is bringing a lot of good series as well. May do Stranger Things in July. New Vegas has the Brotherhood Outkasts, Washington DC are the original Brotherhood as well as the ones in California, The West Virginia Brotherhood wanted to create the Brotherhood of Appalachia by taking all states along the Appalachia by using the mountains as their main stronghold. Texas Brotherhood renamed themselves the Texas Expedition and took Texas Louisiana and most of Northern Mexico. I know its nerdy but its backstory
I don't think i could shoot my dad even in this situation he is still my dad. If i was a father i wouldn't want my children up on the surface exposed to danger. The mother wouldn't come back and left with thier vault secrets I'd have to do something about that to keep the rest safe tbh.

Shady Sands just happens to be in the way of Hank's desire to win game. Unfortunately it was a competition and Shady Sands lost even if it was not playing.
I suspect a Brotherhood vs VaultTec war is coming. Maybe not in the show maybe in the next game. Hank said they are a generation away from opening the vaults. Meanwhile in the BoS, Maximus is on the rise, the Brotherhood has offered him everything he wanted, Dane says there's no leaving and no place is safe devaluing Lucy's offer of the vault and now he knows VaultTec destroyed his childhood home, and he knows aboutthe experimentsin ault 4. I'm kinda surprised the BoS hasn't gone after the Vaults harder before.

I've played Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4 (my favorite), and Fallout 3. The studio captured the look and feel of the games, with only a few minor changes. I'm SOOOOO excited for season 2! However, I think I'm gonna wait until all episodes are loaded so I can binge . . .
I definitely had to watch these night after night. Now I have the lull inside now that it’s over. 😩 I’m enjoying fallout 76. Played teams with my stepson & husband last night.
You should check out Arcane. It’s another video game adaptation and it’s just as good as this one, just fire. Gorgeous animation and super compelling characters, literally everyone. And the music is amazing! Lucy’s VA Purnell also voices one of the most iconic main characters in it. It’s not nearly as lighthearted as this was though. This episode hit hard!
For reals, this isn’t how humanity will end up. It will probably be a lot worse, more like the movie The Road. Fallout isn’t trying to imagine the future, it’s examining the here and now using the device of a fictional apocalyptic future. Fallout is a morality tale, and the biggest question surrounding Lucy, Can she hold on to her core goodness in the face of this terrible world? has been answered affirmatively after 8 episodes. She has not become like her father or like the ghoul. We each face decisions that determine how our lives will go and who we are. We live in a world that puts our values to the test.

Seattle? No no no no no no no it's Fallout New Vegas.... We saw some of the characters involved with the New Vegas game in this series, specifically in the final few episodes with the flashbacks and the various companies talking with Cooper's wife at the meeting, I'm sure other viewers and subscribers will explain it better than I can. I'm a Fallout 4 fan not so much a Fallout New Vegas fan.,... Although this show makes me want to go replay New Vegas
Another great short series is Arcane: League of Legends. It is an adaptation from the video game League of Legends, but it shows some of the main game characters before the actions of the game. I will warn you though it deals A LOT with depression, psychosis and severe separation anxiety.

Under the rules of the brotherhood, Maximus should have been executed, not promoted. This makes no sense. Just one of several issues in the story. Visually the props, costumes, and sets are perfect. It's well acted and you can tell a lot of people who worked on it really care about it, especially Ellen Purnell and Walton Coggins. We'll see how they do going forward.
First off, it's the Brotherhood. They break the rules _as a rule._ Watch again. There's even a line about forming yet another splinter Brotherhood faction. It's the most Brotherhood thing ever and it also makes total sense to keep Maximus over the Titus-tier knights.
Maximus actually fulfilled his promise to Lucy. But instead of 5 or 6 knights, he brought the entire Brotherhood.
It was such an amazing moment. I can’t wait for next season.

Under the rules of the brotherhood, Maximus should have been executed, not promoted. This makes no sense. Just one of several issues in the story. Visually the props, costumes, and sets are perfect. It's well acted and you can tell a lot of people who worked on it really care about it, especially Ellen Purnell and Walton Coggins. We'll see how they do going forward.

First off, it's the Brotherhood. They break the rules _as a rule._ Watch again. There's even a line about forming yet another splinter Brotherhood faction. It's the most Brotherhood thing ever and it also makes total sense to keep Maximus over the Titus-tier knights.
